wandering in the dark [open]

Setting: A coridoor, probably cafeteria level
Format: whatever you wish
Summary: Romeo's wandering around in the dark, looking for people, feel free to bump into him (literally or figuratively)
Warnings: none as of yet

"Molly?" Romeo shouted quietly squinting through the darkness of the coridoor, "Miss Spain, Miss Madeline?" He sighed, why had all the candles that wern't actually candles at all gone out? He had seen someone who had told him it was a power cut, Romeo sighed because he didn't even know what one of those were. All he knew was that it was dark, he couldn't find any real candles and he couldn't find his friends. "Napeta? Mister Doctor? Ienzo?" He sighed again and squeeked as he bumped into something or someone, "Sorry!"

Romeo stood trembling but then the figure in front of him fell. After a few moments where Romeo stood frightened, stuck to the spot, he crept forward slowly. "Sir? What's wrong?" He crouched down next to the man who he could barely see through the darkness, but he seemed to have stopped glowing.

Eiji tries to raise up, grunting and panting, but for now is stuck leaning on an arm. "I... I'm sorry..! You should run, before it happens again..." Another pained noise, then he chokes out more words - "I don't want to hurt anyone else if I can help it..."

Romeo blinked, "Before what happens? Are you injured?" He tentatively reached out to touch the mans arm, "Do you need water sir?"

Eiji rolled over on his back, drawing jagged breaths. "Before... Something makes me change back..."

"Change back?" Instead of retreating Romeo got closer reaching out to touch the man. "Come on sir, let's go to the infirmary!" Because the man looked sick and that's where you should take sick people!

"...I don't think the infirmary can help..." he hissed out, shaking his head. "The hospital couldn't help back home. I just gotta..." He grunts, trying to sit up. "...endure it."

Oh so it was one of those kind of things, something that doctors couldn't help with. Like what Alfredo had had. "Well then you need to rest sir," he reaches out to try and help the man up. "Where is your room sir?"

Something to that effect. Something that quite frankly, Eiji had no real idea what was going to happen with him - and wasn't able to be detected by conventional medicine.

Once he'd sat up, with Romeo's help, he shakes his head. "N-no, I can't... I can't go back up there."

Romeo blinked but he understood that the man was frightened and after what he had just seen Romeo was a little bit frightened as well but he merely sat dow next to the man, "Don't worry sir, I'll look after you!"

Eiji paused, then looked over at the boy. "What? Why would you do that?" After all, he'd just assaulted the poor boy.

Romeo blinked confused, "It wasn't your fault sir and you need help," he gave a small smile, "I'm Romeo by the way!"

Not his fault...

It was true, but still - those other boys, what had happened to them...

"Ah... th-thanks. I'm Eiji."

"Nice to meet you mister Eiji!" He smiled and stayed close to keep an eye on him, "Hopefully the lights will come back on soon!" Not that Romeo was scared, but it was strange.
