Characters: soma, hyunlee, and you!
Setting: fourth floor; five minutes before nightfall.
Format: action.
Summary: hyunlee's out, trying to understand about this tower. he shortly encounters two monsters (centaur and failed FEV subject), but thankfully he isn't alone.
Warnings: not much, just taking care of monsters.
[ The sun has almost completely set... As Hyunlee straightens his Fenrir New-Type uniform, his eyes roam cautiously around these halls. Something just didn't feel right about this place. While he didn't know what it could be, he does know something else. He's not about to just lounge around and accept what a simple note has told him. There's no way that he can just be happy, especially not after being told that his world has been destroyed.
There's no way he can believe that easily, either. That's at least a simple goal in mind, he needs to find out why, the real reason of why that note was sent to him. Why was he brought here? Is it because he's a rare New-Type? Perhaps he might've been simply kidnapped. Or if his world is truly destroyed, then what of the others? Are they all right? Is he the only one here? There's just so much questions that plague the New-Type's mind.
That is until after he turns at the next corner, then he finds his eyes quickly widening at the sight of unfamiliar creatures. The looks they have are dreadful, enough to cause his heart to skip a heavy beat. Their features are instantly recognizable. The shape of their bodies and its physical traits, regardless horribly indescribable due to its unspeakable horrors... They're not just monsters. These are... Undoubtedly mutated humans! ]

[ Hyunlee takes a small step backwards, not wanting to kill them at first if they're still sentient to an extent. Though, that didn't seem to be the case. It's shortly did those creatures wordlessly start crawling towards him in haste, not giving signs of consciousness at all. That's why the boy makes no hesitations himself, drawing out his God Arc (which literally came out of his wrist armlet) and going into position. ]
I don't know what you are. But, if you're going to get in my way...!

[Shoot. Hyunlee quickly surveys their current hallway, and decides that they could probably risk hiding inside a room. It doesn't look like the kid could last much longer on his feet... After a faint frown, Hyunlee momentarily stops to carry the young child on his back instead, giving him a lift as he continues running alongside Soma.]
There, to that room! If anything, a room is easier to defend. Instead of running around and trying to find a safe spot, we'll just make our own! We can't risk attracting more monsters after us.

He then quickly shuts and locks the door, even going as far as to barricade it with a table.]

[He first walks further in the room, stopping by the couch there. That's the only time he sets the "little girl" down, safely to sit on that.]

His senses aren't picking up anything nearby. Either the creatures are still knocked out or they gave up searching. His God Arc transforms back into its portable mode so now it'll get in the way less often now.]

[Hyunlee gives Soma a brief glance, as if asking for further assurance. For both the sentence and this goal, really. Even if he may not be his Hyunlee, he's still... willing to help him until the end.]

[Soma isn't as confident as Hyunlee when saying this though. He casts a quick glance over to said boy before turning away.]

[Hyunlee stands up straight now, trying not to be affected by how Soma is acting. Actually, even he's still feeling heavy from earlier's news, but he's holding it all back. He's a leader, after all... He can't let his personal emotions get ahead of him.]
We met someone who's been here for a while and informed us that the network's been down for several days now. So, we won't be able to make use of that until it's accessible again.

There's just a cra—...[Soma stops and decides he should watch his language around children because haha, Chihiro, why are your looks so deceiving?] a ton of things that seem to be wrong with this place.
I'm pretty sure the darker it gets, the more active those monsters will become. It's probably better if we take you back to your room.

[Soma is looking over to Hyunlee now, addressing him for the first time in quite a while now.]

[Hyunlee takes a moment to glance at the nearest window. It's really dark outside now. Somehow, the foggy view is making him disturbed.]
Maybe we should try again tomorrow. It's already this late. It might be dangerous to walk around at this hour... The terminals are a floor below us, too.
I can offer to accompany you there tomorrow morning. I really want to check the terminals again myself. As for your room... If you can't remember the room where you came out from, then I don't mind if you stay with me in the room I woke up in, Room 4-08.

The collars they gave us. According to the person we talked to earlier, these things are apparently keeping us alive as it's pumping unknown chemicals into our body.
[There's also something even more alarming to him than the collar. But he didn't feel the need to say it. It probably wouldn't affect this kid as much since he appears to have arrived alone.
...But then again, it may have been pure luck for Soma to run into Hyunlee at the right moment.]
I agree. It's better to put that on hold for now. Sorry, but I guess you'll have to put up with spending the night here.
[He frowns a little when Hyunlee suggests that Chihiro should spend the night in his room.]
