Characters: Big Boss and anyone
Setting: Dormitories, Swimming Pool, Forest, Infirmary, Library, Cafeteria, Art Gallery and anywhere else
Summary: The first three days of Big Boss in the Tower. Day 2 and 1 are backdated to yesterday and before-yesterday respectively. If you chose to tag Big Boss on Day 1, he will be paranoid about the whole situation (convinced that this is all a gigantic plot from his enemy, Zero), so he may try to sneak-up on you and hold you up in order to interrogate you. On day 2 he will be less paranoid and more… comical, I guess? On day 3 he'll be able to have normal discussion with people.
Warnings: On Day 1, things can go wrong. Monsters in the swimming pool. Otherwise no real warning.
Arrival – Room 4-06 (Dormitories)
Big Boss had read the paper about world's end right after waking up. He didn't believe a word of it, as far as he was concerned this was all utter bullshit set up by Zero or whoever decided kidnapping him and feeding him lies would be a good idea. He couldn't believe it. You don't destroy an entire world like that and happen to save one of its inhabitants. That makes absolutely no sense.
Nevertheless, it was quite strange that his captor would have filled a trunk with his belonging… Maybe to get him to trust them? It that was the idea, it failed and he had some basics to start at least
He was wearing an Olive Drab Uniform, but no bandanna just yet. After quickly taking a look at the corridor, he went back inside the dorm, lighted up a cigar and started working on the guns he had been provided with- Most specifically, the riffles. They had been disassembled to take less space and fit in the trunks. Better to have them in a working state, who knows what might happen.
Day 1 – Swimming Pool (07th Floor)
Now wearing a Tiger Desert Camouflage as well as his bandanna, Big Boss decided to explore the floors and find some answers- This tower was exceptionally big and dark, whoever constructed it had made quite an achievement right here. He wasn't impressed though; or rather he was but he wouldn't show it. That's when a monster appeared in front of him- A Neoshadow.
What the hell was that? He pointed the assault rifle at it and shot after it tried to attack him, but bullets weren't very effective. The small flash light was actually causing more damages than the bullets themselves. And when this one went down, ten more appeared. … He might have to throw a Stun Grenade at them, but he'd rather spare the only one he has left so…
Strategically moving toward the stairs in order to escape.
Day 1 – Forest (06th Floor)
That… Was peculiar, alright. How was this even possible? A forest, right in the middle of the tower? That made no sense. Maybe this was all some king of extremely advanced technology, a magic of some kind? Even so he couldn't imagine that kind of technology or magic even existing. There was something weird going on; the hypothesis of Zero was becoming less and less plausible.
But at the very least, he was in his element. He knew how to hide and remain nearly invisible. Most people visiting the Forest Floor wouldn't even see him- And he could interrogate them.
You may have heard gunshots on the floor above- And now you feel stalked? Well it's probably because Big Boss follows anyone he sees on that floor- And eventually he will attempt to sneak-up on them to get some answers.
Day 2 – Infirmary (02nd Floor)
Big Boss passed by the infirmary today, looking around and trying to find out some answers. What this place was and why was he here, if that was not one of Zero's plot. That's when he spotted something that entirely cleared his mind from all those questions.
What was it? A Cardboard Box, huh? That's quite a surprise to find that here, a nice one that. And that's… Not just any cardboard box right here. That's the good, the beautiful cardboard box! Brand new, never used, big enough to fit in at least one person. And to top it all, this box looked resistant enough to take a few blows before breaking. Useful and reliable.
… That's an exceptional cardboard box. If you happen to be passing by, you may find Big Boss examining the cardboard box for a while. If you are to wait long enough without interrupting him, may see him hiding under the box- And then leaving the room. While under the box.
Day 2 – Library (03rd Floor)
If you are at the library, you may be lucky enough to spot a walking cardboard box. You read that right, a cardboard box… With, apparently, legs. And it walks at a regular pace. It walks around the library, then head to the stairs to reach the 04th Floor.
If you spot it though, it will immediately stop walking and remain in position. Maybe you just dreamt it, huh? Only one way to be sure.
Day 3 – Cafeteria (1st Floor)
After now three days without being able to eat food of any kind (he has no idea why), he moved into the Cafeteria, took his oatmeal, sat and- Ate.
And damn, that was pretty good! He's without a doubt enjoying his meal. Actually he is probably one of the rare people in the tower to find the oatmeal delicious. It can be seen by the speed at which he is eating, and the lack of complains. Better than the usual terrible MSF Ration. He can only hope there's some more left.
Day 3 – Art Gallery (22nd Floor)
Big Boss ventured by the gallery and looked at the different pairings- What, even some depicting events from his homeworld? How was this possible? He looked at the one depicting Operation Snake Eater then at the one depicting the San Hieronymo Takeover- They were accurate to say the least and brought back both good and bad memories. Bad especially. Barely anything good.
Then he spotted another one… Those men looked like him yet at the same time didn't. That was, weird to say the least. It was so realistic… Probably just some fantasy paining, yet he had a weird feeling looking at them.
"What the hell…?"
Anywhere else
Big Boss will be wandering the corridors, exploring the tower and trying to get to know more. On Day One he'll point his gun at most everybody, on Day Two and Three though he'll be more relaxed and less prone at suspecting everyone from being dangerous soldier.
On Day Two you might even see him under a cardboard box.

On Day Two you might even see him under a cardboard box.

Day 1 - Forest
Today he had discovered the forest on the 6th floor of the tower, and as always he was amazed as he walked into the new room. With his ranger training and leather boots walking near silent was easy enough; Faramir felt more comfortable here than he had most anywhere else in the tower so far. That was not to say his bow was not in hand lest he needs be ready for some threat to make itself known suddenly
no subject
Faramir may have heard a noise behind him- But by the time he'll turn and look, nothing, not even a shadow to be seen. Big Boss is the master of disguise and camouflage when it comes to that sort of environment, good lick spotting him. He ready his tranquilizer gun, to try and hold-up the man at first occasion.
Day 2 – Library
But, you can't blame the kid for his curiosity.
So, here's Tavros, standing before the cardboard box, staring down with the most skeptical look he could muster. He circles the object, cautious, before he decided to give it a gentle kick.
no subject
The cardboard boxes slightly moves when he gently kicks it, but... Somethings's wrong. It moved yet it didn't move away from its position, it just didn't move not as much as it should have- If it were empty. Maybe he just dreamt and that's a box full of book?
Oh and don't count on Big Boss to show any signs that he's hiding in- Not a movement, not a noise, as far as anyone can tell this book is empty from anything alive.
Day 2 - Stairs to the 4th Floor
Timidly, he walks over to give the box a poke.

"....."
It's unfortunately at this moment that he sneezes. Quite loudly at that.
no subject
"H-Hello... Is-Is somebody in t-there...?"
[1/2]
[2/2]
"Yeah, there would be me." he said once he was out and sighed.

It's for the feeling of inner peace. The tranquility, the contentment, but he cannot explain that to a kid. Besides he wouldn't understand.
"It's to hide from the bad guys, you see? If you hadn't spotted me walking, you'd have just thought this was an empty box, right?"

Library
[1/2]
Big Boss didn't answer immediately, but he's got that feeling the kid just won't get away, so-
[2/2]
"Hum, found me kid."

Library - Day 3
He was browsing through the selection when he noticed the box made of unfamiliar material. And that it was moving. Curious, the vampire approached the box and used his Hunter's Sight, seeing the glowing aura of a man inside.
Using a long finger, Vicente deftly unended the box. "Well, well, what have we here?"
no subject
Unable to know that the man can see his aura, Big Boss decided he would act as though there were no one in there. Nevertheless, odds were high that this guy would end up pull out the box sooner or latter, so-
He took out, silently and discreetly, his Mk.22 tranquilizer gun and pointed it in what he guessed to be the general direction of the man. If he took off the cardboard box, he would be up to a surprise.
no subject
He took an edge of the box between his forefinger and tumb and deftly upended the box, revealing the man inside.
"Rather inefficiant disguise, if I do say so myself."
no subject
Disguise? The box is more than a mere disguise, it is... Inner peace. Tranquility. It is without the shadow of a doubt the one best place where one can hide as far as he is concerned...
Either way, when the man upended the box, he would find the tranquilizer gun pointed right at him.
"It has it use when people don't spot it walking." he merely replies "Or don't persist and go to look after it."
no subject
"Surely," The vampire said dryly. "Unless you have a Detect Life spell, I imagine this thing gives you horrible peripheral vision." What with how the holes only let you stare straight ahead.
no subject
Big Boss slowly got up- Gun still in and, his aim steady. Wait, what did he just say? A spell? Big Boss could have understood if the man had mentioned some of new kind of night vision goggle, but...
"Detect life spell, huh? Are you some kind of wizard?"
That much he wouldn't believe. Well, he had already seen what was close to magic, both in his homeworld and here, but they were exceptional phenomenon, not to mention most of the time explainable through logic.
