Greatest Rage / Greatest Serenity
Characters: [OU] Fou-Lu, [OU] Mami, and YOU!
Setting: The dormitory floors, then the cafeteria
Format: You lead.
Summary: Fou-Lu and Mami both wake up in the tower. One is much more displeased than the other.
Warnings: Please do not harass the dragon god too much or there will be property damage. Also do not harass the farmgirl while the dragon god is around or the property damage will be way bigger.
Note: There will be a thread for Fou-Lu, a thread for Mami, and a thread for them together in the cafeteria! … And a closed thread for the both of 'em.
His eyes opened, and he was not where he should be.
This place was different - wrong - and he sat up suddenly, hand pressed to his face. The god-emperor looked around his current location, and down at himself. Somehow, he had been put in this strange garb. But who would dare touch him? He spotted a letter and snatched it up, reading it. Three sentences and no answers, only words that made him more and more furious.
'Destroyed'? Surely it was not true. He would have known, he was the one who was going to wipe mortal life from the earth. 'Saved'? He needed no savior. He was the one who… was supposed to save them. 'Happy'? How could he be, when the mortals were such fools and their folly was so great?
Standing, Fou-Lu spotted a chest at the foot of the strange bedding he had been placed upon. He opened it, and discovered clothing, supplies, and… yes. He changed quickly, shedding the strange cloth, equipped the Ivory Bangle… and stuck the bell charm into his pocket.
… The charm. The farm girl. Mami. As he stepped out of the room, he leaned against the wall, laughing as only a broken man - a broken god - could. Dead. She was dead. And he had never understood why she had done so much for him. The one innocent mortal he could find - the one pure soul - and she had been sacrificed to make a strike directly at him.
"Haa… aha… hahah! What fools… what fools these mortals be. Verily… their folly is greater than even I hadst thought…"
[Somehow, it seemed like the world had gone mad while Mami was asleep. All she'd gotten out of the first note was "-----your world -- destroyed ------" and that had been quite enough of the notes for her, thank you very much. It seemed like things had gone from bad to worse since the incident in Sonne --
And now she couldn't help being worried and scared for Ryong's sake, because if the world was gone then where in heaven's name was he? Had everything been for naught, had everything been in vain?
Thankfully, she'd been able to find her normal clothes in that strange trunk at the foot of the bed, once she'd struggled into wakefulness and read what she could of the note. After managing to regain some semblance of normality with her clothes and her bell charm back in her hair, she left the room and started to wander, nerves a-jangle.
They told tales, back home, of folks disappearing and never being heard of again - of gods or demons or spirits whisking them away into the great unknown beyond Sonne - and she couldn't hep wondering if maybe, just maybe, there weren't some truth to these tales… it'd be easier than thinking the world lost, that was for certain.]

[Fou-Lu]
[Mami]
[Cafeteria]
[Cafeteria - Closed Thread]
[He spluttered, pounding his fist against the table which groaned threateningly.]
Wretched place! Thy cooks must hardly know a saucepan from a strip of bark!
>> PARAGON INTERRUPT
[She's smiling widely. Her gambit paid off - he's alive, it's okay, everything's okay now...]
>> (fuu) also 1/several
>> (fuu) the sequel
>> the return of the (fuu)
So... so in our madness and rage, a vision hast come to us. To attempt to turn our wrath.
>> (fuu) the epic conclusion aka done
Enough! Begone, specter. We hath no need of ghosts now. We need only the destruction of those who hath incurred our wrath.
>> PARAGON INTERRUPT, THE SEQUEL
No...the how and the why don't matter. All she can tell is that Ryong is in serious pain, emotionally speaking, so she does the only thing she can now--
She reaches out and pulls him into an awkward hug. See, Ryong? She's right here.]
...Ah dinnae ken...all that yer sayin', bu' - oh, Ryong, wha' happened ta ye? Ah'm no ghos'...they did no' get ye outside o' Sonne, did they?
[Had it all come to nothing, then?]
Well damn.
[... He doesn't know how to react. His regal bearing insists that he stay stoic, unattached...]
[And yet...]
[He places a hand on the back of her head, pulling her against his shoulder. He must remain calm, must remain stoic...]
[And yet he cannot stop the shaking, nor the few tears he starts to shed.]
[He cannot remember how many centuries it had been since he had last cried.]
Time to hug it out, yes.
The magic of shooshpaps. :(
We are gladdened to see you safe and unharmed.
Yes shooshpaps.
[She looks away for a moment and sees - welp, there are two bowls of the oatmeal.] Oh, i' looks like they've gone an' made food fer folks what're comin' in, tha's nice of 'em!
All the shooshpaps.
[Physically, at least. Mentally... well. He had never been completely there, and he knew it. He turned his gaze back to the filth they dared to call food.]
'Tis not sustaining, and 'tis of a flavor most foul.
Yes all the shooshpaps.
...
o h.] Eh...Well, i' coul' be worse, an' i's surely better'n nothin'.
Why are they the cutest damn thing? ;w;
[He picks up his spoon again and tries it once more, nose wrinkling.]
We shall have to look for any sort of game.
[Sometimes the creatures of the forest wandered into ruins and such, and a few of them were edible, so...]
Because they just are.
[Nom nom...not the best oatmeal, but it's definitely better than no food!]
It'll take a while fer 'em to sprout, though, bu' it'll be worth it in th' end!
no subject
[He's not so sure they'll find anything here, but it's worth a look...]
no subject
[There's a wistful smile on her face.]
Ah reckon there be some farmland 'round these parts, Ryong. T'ain' possible fer there no' t' be - how else'd this porridge happen, if there ain't?
[... Though the cook needs to be given a thorough talking-to.]
no subject
And thee giveth thyself too little credit.
no subject
[...Well she just has to smile at that because that is sweet of him. :3] Thank ye, Ryong.
Going for both because Mami's gonna be needed to prevent Armageddon here
He noticed Fou-Lu and Mami at a table at this moment... Probably newcomers eating their oatmeal, only newcomers took their time to go by the Cafeteria in this period. Bah, he wasn't going to be bothered by them, though he may pass close to them during his search. ]
Yes, probably. xD
[And then his eyes snapped open, staring straight at Ganondorf. He stood, placing himself between her and this newcomer. He could feel that power, but there was something deeply wrong about it, malevolent and twisted. It made his skin crawl. He could not let this pass.]
... And what manner of creature wouldst thou be?
no subject
Considering how bad the situation is at Animus, better send a clear yet polite warning to the newcomers. ]
I am Ganondorf Dragmire, King of the Gerudos, Ruler of Hyrule, Great Demon King of Evil and Dark Lord of Animus.
[ Clear enough. He looks down at Fou-Lu and Mami. ]
And what manner of being would you be?
>>PARAGON INTERRUPT
He be Ryong, an' Ah be Mami. It be nice t' meet ye - Ah think.
Ryong, Ah'm thinkin' maybe we ought ter go an' look aroun' this place, ye ken? If'n we're goin' ter be stuck here, Ah reckon we ought t' learn more abou' it! If ye'll excuse us...
[Come on, Ryong, let's go!]
HIMDAMMIT WOMAN 8(
As thou hast said, we should enlighten ourselves upon the nature of this place.
[Fine. He's going, he's going.]
ANOTHER TIME
A low chuckles as he shakes his head. ]
Pathetic.
[ Back to his own business he is. ]
no subject
Do not underestimate us.
[He's only leaving right now because he doesn't want Mami involved in this. She needed to be kept safe...]
no subject
[And now to Ryong.] Come on, let's be goin' now.
