Characters: Genda Koujirou and Otonashi Haruna
Setting: Around the tower? IDK WHEREVER THE WIND TAKES THEM
Format: Action or I'll pinch you
Summary: Genda gets restless with the way things are, and worries about Kidou's precious baby sister.
Warnings: I'll add them in if there are any?
[Waiting around is something Genda's bad at doing - and being variably useless is even worse. But with the way things are, there isn't much he can do, is there? He's just a kid, really - fourteen. Yet he can't just go on with no food and in the dark and cold, it's just not right. And he especially can't let his friends either.
Kidou and Sakuma can handle themselves, of course. They're offensive, and... are they even here at the moment? Genda's not sure.
The person on his mind right now is Haruna; she doesn't even play soccer, she has no hissatsu techniques to use, let alone fight with. And he's not sure if she can fight otherwise.
So after a moment, he's in front of her door, giving it a knock.]
Otonashi-san. It's Genda. Please, open up.

Otonashi-san. It's Genda. Please, open up.

[ Haruna answers her door quickly. Once she sees it's only Genda though, her smile falters just tiny bit. ]
Genda-san you're okay ... The power went out so suddenly and my roommates are nowhere to be seen, I was getting worried.
no subject
You've been all by yourself then, as I thought. I'm sorry, but Sakuma and your brother are nowhere to be found.
... Would you like to stay with me, until they show up again?
["For your safety" is unsaid, but definitely implied, of course. It's probably pretty obvious that he's worried for her.]
no subject
If that's okay. Being alone just makes me more scared. And maybe we can find out what's happening. Please wait a moment!
[ And she leaves the door open and digs through her trunk for some things. They're nothing, couple of pins, a pen, and a memo pad. Oh and Kidou's blue cape. ]
Phew, these things are hard to find in the dark ... Ready!
no subject
We should probably find some kind of light, huh? Or maybe make one.
[Like... a candle or something?]
no subject
And we can't forget about water and food. [ But where can they find all of these? Haruna's best guess is the .. ]
Should we try the kitchen first? I can't think of anywhere else there might be candles right now. And there might be some food left in the fridge.
no subject
But let's try the kitchen, first; I'm starving.
[Sorry, Haruna - you're stuck with the big eater of Teikoku. Think Kabeyama's eating habits.]
no subject
Let's timeskip ahead to when they enter the kitchen. The emergency lights are dim, but they can make out the stoves and pans and fridge. ]
Genda-san. [ She pulls on his sleeve and points to a cabinet. ] Over there. I think there is something in the tallest shelf.
no subject
[He looks, but he can't really reach it by himself.
So she's getting lifted up to the cabinet's height!]
Does that help?
no subject
[ Honestly, she wants to laugh because she's pretty ticklish. But she holds it in with all her might. This wasn't the time for it!
Reaching out to the shelf, she fishes out few canned food and a decent size pan. Unfortunately everything else seems to be flour ... ]
no subject
[Do you see his eyes light up? DO YOU? *A*
He'll put her down then, looking over what little they have.
But it's still food!! ... She could probably hear his stomach growl at the prospect.]
no subject
[ She hears it all right, but she doesn't want him to eat a can of whale meat either. So she inspects the can near the emergency light.
The five cans they savaged are all can of peas. It's a little disappointing. ]
Peas. Well, they're not too bad I guess.
no subject
It's... better than nothing, I guess.
[But why did it have to be a vegetable... he would have easily accepted canned fruit over this...]
no subject
Right. And we have some flour. It might come in handy too.
[ And Haruna gathers the cans and the flour in the pan. She looks around the dim kitchen. ] Anything else?
no subject
I haven't found anything.
It's too bad there aren't any spices around. I could use the flour to make eggless noodles of some sort, but they'd have no taste at all.
no subject
Hmm. Well, we don't know what we'll find in the other floors. Let's go look around some more.
[ She smile apologetically. ] Sorry we can't eat right away.
no subject
... To be honest, I'd rather find something other than vegetables, anyway.
[Euuughhh...
Luckily, they can find wild chickens on a higher floor! They just... have to make it up there.
But wait -]
Do you think some of the fish in the aquarium may be edible?
no subject
Maybe ...
But I don't know too much about them. I can just recognize common ones like tuna or salmon.
no subject
I know how to prepare lots of different kinds of fish, after all.
[Not only are you with the big eater of Teikoku, Haruna, you're also with their chef. c:]
no subject
Lucky! Thank goodness you are here with me Genda-san.
no subject
[He gives her a big smile then, before motioning for her to follow.]
Grab a pot or something, and let's go. I'll catch what I can, and we can finally have a good meal.
no subject
So where should we head to next? We still need some kind of light ...
