Setting: The kitchen -> The forest on the 32nd floor - >  the 2nd floor dorms -> the 4th floor dorms [Daytime]
Format: Both styles are fine~
Summary: Chihiro tries to look for food in the kitchen (climbs up shelves/cupboards, almost falls). He doesn't find anything so he decides to pick some berries from the forest and befriends a bunny! He decides to take said bunny with him so that no one else will catch and eat it... After that, he goes to the 2nd floor dorms as he wants to show his best friend/bro, Mondo, his bunny friend! And it ends with Chihiro back in his dorm room trying to hide the bunny so that his roommates won't eat it...
Warnings: Crossdressing, lots of fluff (?) and hopefully no one hurts the bunny?

The kitchen
[Chihiro backs out of the ground level cupboard he'd crawled into with a flashlight a kind lady (Willow) had given him earlier.]

There's nothing to eat here.... What about on the higher shelves?

[He tries to reach the high shelves on tiptoe... It doesn't work. So he looks around for anything he might stand on and finds a stool. He climbs up on it and can just abouuuut touch reach the shelf when the stool starts wobbling dangerously  then it starts to tip... Will anyone catch him before he falls?]

The forest
[Since there was really nothing to eat in the kitchen. Chihiro decides to revisit the forest he'd found just the other day. He'd seen berries growing there and they'd looked edible. He carefully gathers as many as he can and wraps them up in a piece of cloth he'd found in the workshop then places it in his backpack when suddenly he hears a soft rustling nearby. He nervously grabs hold of a tree branch he'd found to protect himself with. He tenses, ready to swing the branch at whoever is sneaking up on him when.... out pops a fluffy brown bunny! It's so cute! The boy and the bunny look at each other with timid curiousity for a moment before Chihiro softly moves closer to it, wanting to pet it. The bunny seems sense that they are the same he means no harm and lets him touch it.]

You so soft! [Laughs happily] So there aren't just monsters here. But it's dangerous for you to be out here, Usagi-san... Someone might try to eat you... [Gets a little teary at the thought then he decides] ... ... I-I'll protect you! I'll keep you safe from anyone who tries to hurt you!

[He reaches out to pick up the bunny. It lets him and Chihiro hugs it gently.] I'll protect you.

2nd floor dorms
[Chihiro runs excitedly down the corridor of the 2nd floor dormitory to room 02-02. Don't bump into anyone, Chihiro! Usagi-san is hidden under his jacket in his arms. He knocks on the door, quite out of breath but so very happy. He can't wait to show his trusted friend what he's got!]

4th floor dorms
[Chihiro nervously sneaks down the 4th floor dormitory corridor to room 04-08 with Usagi-san still hidden in his arms under his jacket. He's going to peer into his room to make sure none of his roommates are in before going in with his new friend...]

Eh? That's not true... this is harder... I've never been good at working with my hands.

No way, you can just screw around and you'll figure it out with this stuff!

It still takes a lot of skill to put all these pieces of wood together properly and to make them look nice yet be functional at the same time!

It takes a different kind of intelligence from computer programming to do all this.

If you had to be smart at all to do it I wouldn't be able to...

But you are smart, Oowada-kun! There are different types of smarts!

I'm pretty sure I'm not any of 'em, I'm no good at school or dealing with people, you know?

But you're good at leading your gang and on working on your motorcycle, aren't you? And you know how to survive on the streets. I... could never do all that.

[mustlovedogs]

[No, don't say something like that, Chihiro, didn't you learn from the last time?! ...ah, wait, no because it didn't happen........

Luckily he's learned Chihiro doesn't mean things in a mocking way, so he won't freak out or accuse him of doing so, but it still hurts to hear when he thinks he can only lead the gang because of his lie.

(the other two are pretty true no matter how you look at it, though!)]

Oowada-kun... [And he doesn't understand why Mondo looks so down... Did he say something wrong? He tries to figure out what he's said wrong but isn't able to... He can see he's not doing a very good job at cheering him up though so... time for a distraction then!

He quickly picks up the piece of wood they've just cut.]

What do we do with this then, Oowada-kun?

[A distraction is a good idea.]

Ah, we're gonna cut some more and nail them to this one. [A fairly large square piece, considerably thinner.] It's gonna be the bottom and we'll build the others up like on a house. Then he needs a door on top so we'll screw some hinges on with the wire so he can breathe in there and you can open it up.

I see. Let's get to work then!

[mustlovedogs]

Alright, you wanna keep cutting? I'm gonna find some hinges and work on a latch.

[cutestprogrammer]

Mn! Okay! [Is... that really wise, Mondo...?]

[mustlovedogs]

[No, not at all...

But he'll turn his back to Chihiro anyway while he takes a look around for the other pieces they need. He'd like to find a lock so no one but Chihiro can take bunny-Chuck out during these dangerous times...]

[Meanwhile, Chihiro tries sawing that piece of wood on his own and...

... there's soon a cry of pain as he accidentally cuts himself. At least the cut isn't too deep...

And luckily it wasn't an electric saw.]

[mustlovedogs]

[This is exactlly why the circular saw wasn't an option, but, he should have been more careful leaving Chihiro with the tools even so...! The second he hears the cry he drops the screwdriver he's found and dashes over.]

You okay?! Is it bad?!

[cutestprogrammer]

[Chihiro presses his handkerchief tightly against his injured hand. He's cut the area between his thumb and index finger. The cut isn't that bad but it does seem to be bleeding quite a bit. He's also trying not to cry.]

I-I'm okay...

[mustlovedogs]

Let me see!

[He grabs Chihiro's hand to take a look at it. He can't really see the cut itself from the bleeding, but, he thinks it's worse than it is because of that.]

Shit...we've gotta take you to the infirmary and look after that...!

[cutestprogrammer]

[He just nods and looks rather pale.]

[mustlovedogs]

It's okay, really...!

[And he scoops Chihiro up to rush downstairs with him (it's okay, Mondo, he probably just needs a bandage...)]

[He's just going to keep pressing his handkerchief against his wound as they rush downstairs. Not going to cry. Not going to cry. (And yes, that's really all he needs, Mondo)]

[Chihiro's trips to the infirmary thanks to Mondo tally chart: 1]

[Once he reaches the second floor, Mondo sets him on one of the beds while he goes looking through cupboards and drawers for something to use. A huge roll of gauze? Yes, that sounds like a good idea, the more the better, there's no such thing as too much, right? So he takes it back over to Chihiro and starts dressing the cut...and eventually his whole hand...]

... [Chihiro is eventually going to recover from his shock a bit and mention] ... O-oowada-kun...? We're supposed to clean the wound first before... [You know, mummifying him.]
