Characters: Chihiro Fujisaki and you!
Setting: The kitchen -> The forest on the 32nd floor - >  the 2nd floor dorms -> the 4th floor dorms [Daytime]
Format: Both styles are fine~
Summary: Chihiro tries to look for food in the kitchen (climbs up shelves/cupboards, almost falls). He doesn't find anything so he decides to pick some berries from the forest and befriends a bunny! He decides to take said bunny with him so that no one else will catch and eat it... After that, he goes to the 2nd floor dorms as he wants to show his best friend/bro, Mondo, his bunny friend! And it ends with Chihiro back in his dorm room trying to hide the bunny so that his roommates won't eat it...
Warnings: Crossdressing, lots of fluff (?) and hopefully no one hurts the bunny?

The kitchen
[Chihiro backs out of the ground level cupboard he'd crawled into with a flashlight a kind lady (Willow) had given him earlier.]

There's nothing to eat here.... What about on the higher shelves?

[He tries to reach the high shelves on tiptoe... It doesn't work. So he looks around for anything he might stand on and finds a stool. He climbs up on it and can just abouuuut touch reach the shelf when the stool starts wobbling dangerously  then it starts to tip... Will anyone catch him before he falls?]

The forest
[Since there was really nothing to eat in the kitchen. Chihiro decides to revisit the forest he'd found just the other day. He'd seen berries growing there and they'd looked edible. He carefully gathers as many as he can and wraps them up in a piece of cloth he'd found in the workshop then places it in his backpack when suddenly he hears a soft rustling nearby. He nervously grabs hold of a tree branch he'd found to protect himself with. He tenses, ready to swing the branch at whoever is sneaking up on him when.... out pops a fluffy brown bunny! It's so cute! The boy and the bunny look at each other with timid curiousity for a moment before Chihiro softly moves closer to it, wanting to pet it. The bunny seems sense that they are the same he means no harm and lets him touch it.]

You so soft! [Laughs happily] So there aren't just monsters here. But it's dangerous for you to be out here, Usagi-san... Someone might try to eat you... [Gets a little teary at the thought then he decides] ... ... I-I'll protect you! I'll keep you safe from anyone who tries to hurt you!

[He reaches out to pick up the bunny. It lets him and Chihiro hugs it gently.] I'll protect you.

2nd floor dorms
[Chihiro runs excitedly down the corridor of the 2nd floor dormitory to room 02-02. Don't bump into anyone, Chihiro! Usagi-san is hidden under his jacket in his arms. He knocks on the door, quite out of breath but so very happy. He can't wait to show his trusted friend what he's got!]

4th floor dorms
[Chihiro nervously sneaks down the 4th floor dormitory corridor to room 04-08 with Usagi-san still hidden in his arms under his jacket. He's going to peer into his room to make sure none of his roommates are in before going in with his new friend...]

[He stares. And stares. And stares. He tries to think of any moment that could have revealed the obvious difference between a male Chihiro and a female one. Nothing really comes to mind...]

I thought you were just flat...! [Like, an elementary school kid. HE HAS SO MANY QUESTIONS. He's really just forever curious.] Are you a cross-dresser? You don't seem like one, since they wear make-up and high heels.

No! No... I don't do that... Not I all... I just wear dresses because... they make me feel safer...

... people... people don't bully me as much when they think I'm just a weak girl...

[Totally taking that compliment. However, Rin does not like Chihiro's reasoning. Not because he thinks cross-dressing is wrong.

Bullying some kid to feel insecure enough to dress differently is a big no-no for him. aka ALL HIS BIG BROTHER INSTINCTS HAVE BEEN PINGED.]

They thought you were just a weak boy before? Being a girl doesn't make it any different since you're still getting bullied! [WHERE ARE THEY SO HE CAN SMASH THEM.]

Yes... when I was in elementary school... my classmates... always made fun of me and bullied me because I was a weak boy. I... got sick easily and I was, well, still am so much shorter than everyone.

So when I got into junior high, I decided... to dress as a girl and somehow the bullying really did stop. People started... [This is so embarrassing.] ... asking me out instead because they thought I was a girl.

And I-I met a lot of really nice people in the senior high school I'm in now though. [Even if they are kind of forced to kill each other...] I have a really good friend now. I... told him my secret and he accepted it and is helping me train so I can be stronger and soon I might be brave enough to dress like a boy again!

[He didn't expect Chihiro to already have a resolve. Color him impressed. Granted, it means Chihiro won't really need his help... Rin's all smiles again. He puts a hand on Chihiro's shoulder.]

You're doing good then. [aha now he feels nosy] I guess you'll just keep training, right? Good luck with that.

[Yet... Even through all of Chihiro's explanation - while it does remind him a lot of his crybaby brother sans the cross dressing - he's been able to zero in on one thing:]

[Though that resolve does kind of lead to his accidental death back in his world but he's from before that...]

[And feels a little bashful about that] We've only just started so I'm not that good at it yet. [He smiles brightly.] Mn! Thank you, Okumura-kun! For your encouragement and understanding! I really appreciate it.

Eh? I am? How old are you?

[Rin's not so good at being thanked. He's feeling very proud right about now! He laughs~.]

Of course~! What sort of training are you doing? [potential training buddy y/n/y]

[Hm. Maybe Rin misunderstood "senior high school" for "senior in high school".] I'm fifteen years old.

Well, I'm currently doing weight-lifting training with Oowada-kun to build up my strength but I'd like to do other kinds of training as well, possibly learn some self-defense so I can take care of myself.

I'm fifteen too.

[What cool training... but it's nothing that Rin needs so he won't ask to join in. He tries not to imagine skinny-armed Chihiro lifting a few weights...]

I see. Keep practicing and maybe you won't have to call for help. You'll be the one helping.

...Seriously? [wow, no wonder they picked on Chihiro...]

Mn! I hope that'll happen one day.

... [Please don't look at him like that... He didn't ask to look like he's 10 or under.] Yes... [But no one will pick on him now! His BFF is a feared gang leader and over 6 feet tall ... with a soft spot for dogs and other small animals.]

Me? Older? I... I look older than... 15? [Wut? This is certainly a first! Though end game spoilers point at him being secretly 17... but he doesn't know as his and everyone else's memories have been altered...]

[There's a level of maturity about him that a mature-acting child wouldn't have. ...That and he thought he was a real high school senior... Chihiro's canon is... odd.]

[It is a mystery/detective game after all... so lots of twists and turns and big reveals everywhere...

And at this moment the bundle in his arms moves. The bunny does not appreciate being wrapped up like that, at all!]

Ah! Please stay still, Usagi-san! You'll fall!

[Usagi-san? Rabbit? Wow, he didn't think Chihiro brought - no, Rin, it's not food. And he's not about to go and eat someone's pet...

You found a rabbit? [He's staring at the moving bundle, following its every move.]

[Don't you dare eat it, Rin!]

... yes. I found him in the forest just now.

[And he unwraps the bundle to reveal to small fuzzy brown rabbit.]

[Right. Eating rabbits is bad. Eating someone's pet is also bad. He has himself under control. Just don't look at those sharp, pointy teeth of his...]

Oh. He's cute. [And he means it. The little rabbit was very cute~. He can't eat that...] ...He's probably better off outside, where he has food to eat. [Damn lucky rabbit and his herbivore abilities. Rin could eat grass too, damn it.]

He is! That... yes, but he could also be in danger especially now. If I left him there, someone else might have come along to catch and eat him... And he's too weak to protect himself... [The bunny just reminds him too much of himself.]

Like you? ...Then we better make sure no one else even thinks about touching that rabbit. But you could protect him just as easily, right Hiro?

I... Mn. ... a little... [Blush! Blush!] Eh? We? You will help me? I.. Mn! I can! Eh? 'Hiro'? [No one's ever called him that before. He kind of (?) likes it though. It does sound more like a boy's name than Chihiro.]

[Dude, what's with the blushing.]

Yeah, "we". But like I said, you can handle it great on your own, so I'll just be back-up, right? [Nope, still not getting why Chihiro's blushing.] Yeah, Hiro. What, you want me to call you Fujisaki?

Thank you, Okumura-kun! [Shakes his head quickly, his cheeks still rather pink] It's fine. Just that no one's ever called me that. They usually use 'Chi' instead of 'Hiro'. I think I like 'Hiro' more though. Can-Can I call you Rin-kun then?
