(OPEN) I hope I'm doing this right.

Characters: [livejournal.com profile] notwrongteous and you!
Setting: Room 1-12, hallways.
Format: Either is fine! I will follow c:
Summary: Finn is new and looking for anyone he might recognize!
Warnings: Uh there shouldn't be anything bad happening but I'll update it if there is!

Finn frowns and squints his eyes at the letter he was currently holding in his hand.

Your world has been destroyed. I saved you. Let's all be happy here.

He didn't believe any word of it. He sets the letter down and looks around his new room. It was kind of dim in there and he wondered if there were any working lights.

"Well, for now I guess I'll just have to check out where I am."

He gets up off the bed and goes out into the hallway, which was completely dark. He puts his hand against the wall and uses it to guide him.

"Hello? Is anyone here?"

The dim light poses no challenge at all to Equius, who actually prefers it this way. He strides onward down the hall, expecting Finn to step out of his way.

"Of course there are people here. Don't be a fool."

Equius pauses, regarding Finn with an expression he hoped was aloof and disdainful enough. He's used to humans by now, but apparently most humans weren't so used to trolls. He's grown accustomed to being stared at, even though he doesn't quite like it.

Under normal circumstances Equius probably would have dismissed the annoying kid and walked away, but there's something about Finn that reminds him of Nepeta. Probably the silly hat.

"It's structured more like a tower than a dungeon. I'm not sure what purpose these collars serve, none of us are. It's been speculated they're a form of ownership. Of submission. It's practically depraved."

Equius has already tried messing with his collar. Even with his power, he was unable to pry it off, so for now he leaves it alone.

"If you choose to think of yourself in those terms. I, however, find the idea more than a little repulsive."
