Characters: Reno, (see notes)
Setting: An empty dorm room
Format: Prose, also we're going to forgo threads and posting order so just direct reply to the post and track
Summary: Calling a meeting of the Turks. :D
Warnings: Um. Turks.
Reno walked around to all of the dorm floors, holding notes in one hand. For each familiar name he came across, he scribbled it on one note and slid it under the door. Siira, Elena, Rod, Reno (which he labeled with Rusty too, just so there wouldn't be any confusion), Rude. Even Shion and Xion got a note. As far as he was concerned they counted.
Later
Reno sat back in the empty room, waiting for his colleagues to show up. Not that he was expecting all of them to come, they had other things to do after all, but it was definitely a good idea to gather them and swap notes. Life in the Tower was harsh, and they were going to have to work together, and coordinate together. Tseng and Veld still hadn't shown up, so it was falling to him and Rusty.
That's how he saw it, anyway.
(Notes: Reno has delivered a note to each Turk in the Tower, even if they're busy or otherwise engaged. It's up to the character if they receive the note or show up at the meeting. It's a standard note stating a meeting place and time, much like they would receive back home. For Shion he left the note on his pillow, and made sure to give Xion a note as well. He's planning on introducing them to the others.)

When she entered, she gave Reno a small grin. The martial artist was still dressed in shorts and a dank top, a light sheen of sweat on her face from exercising.]

No Turk meeting was conducted without alcohol and if he was going to pull what he was about to he'd need all the help he could get.
His posture was a bit straighter than Sparky's though still relaxed.
"Hey. I brought some of ShinRa's Finest." A small grin as he pulled one of the bottles from his bag and handed it over.

He arrived on time and peaked through the door expecting just to see Reno and Xion, after all it wasn't the first time Reno had left him notes. He blinked when he saw the two other people, the other Reno he knew of course but he didn't know the girl. He stood awkwardly by the door.

Times were a little difficult to tell with the power off, but when she walked up the stairs to the floor of the meeting place, and spotted Shion up ahead of her, she suspected she was on the right track. She was still a little hesitant about this all. Some strange things had been happening lately, and she was starting to get nervous. But hopefully being around Reno (and probably Shion, she suspected) would help a little.
"Shion!" she called, running after him, trying to catch up. She ducked into the room, skidding to a halt just in time to avoid crashing into where Shion had stopped. At that point, she looked up and saw several more people in the room than she had been expecting, including at least one who was unfamiliar. Suddenly self-conscious, she stood upright, looking down at the ground.
After a moment, she looked up and around, and - nodding nervously - mumbled "Hey."

"....."
It's when he spotted his fellow Turks that he was sure this was indeed the good room. He entered the room silently, headed to stand close to one of the bed and looked quickly at Shion and Xion as he passed by them. He noticed the Turk's pin they had on them, but didn't say a word of it. He didn't smile either, just nodded to those present here.

He placed a hand on Xion's shoulder to comfort., giving a grin to Shion. "Glad you two showed up. This is Siira. Big guy is Rude. You know the other me. They're my friends from back home."

"ShinRa's finest, huh? Think it'll hold up to the stuff the girls and I had at our bar?" Oh Gaia, she missed Gun and Shotgun so much right now. She hoped they were alright.
At the arrival of the kids, Siira couldn't help but watch them for a minute until Rude arrived and Reno introduced the younger pair. She gave them a wave.
"Nice t'meet you two. Been wonderin' when I'd get to meet the recruits he asked me to help out with. Back home, my codename was Martial Arts so if we do any training together, it'll be mostly unarmed combat."

He sent Rude a nod, settling on one of he empty trunks and placing his bag between his feet with a soft sigh. A second bottle and the wrapped fish visible as the bottle collapsed around them.
"Good to see you two, though I'm saying you'll probably rather go get some water from a sink instead of drinking this."

His nerves grew as the stern looking man entered the room, he looked a little like the men who had arrested him back in No. 6. No expression, just following orders and answering no questions. He did manage to grin at Reno though, both of them and Siira, "It is nice to meet you too..." And it was, it was nice to meet friends of Reno's.

her group now maybe?)There was some of what was going on here that she didn't quite get (what was in the bottle that the other Reno was talking about?), but she nodded in response to Siira's greeting.

He smiled to the two Reno when one slapped him in the back and the other nodded- To Siira as well, he was human at least? Rude then went and stand between the two of them, and look at the booze Rusty brought with him. Something positive in this tower at least.

He paused for a moment, letting that sink in.
"Besides that, there's things I'd appreciate you guys teaching to Xion and Shion that I'm not as good at. They're smart kids, and trustworthy. They'll need those skills."
There was something he wasn't saying, and if someone was smart enough to pick it up would be something along the lines of 'if I don't come back one day.'

Rude was still as talkative as she remembered. What a shame the years hadn't done anything to change that. And she knew Reno well enough, despite the differences and the fact that there were two, that she noticed there was something going unsaid. That could wait though, rather than calling him out on it in front of everyone and the recruits.
"Well, I can cover the hand-to-hand combat, no problem. What else do you have in mind to teach 'em though?" She turned her attention to the kids because, really, she didn't want them to think they were talking over them.
"What can you two do so far?"

"Shit, sorry, sorry! I know I'm late, but I swear this fuckin' huge ass monster big as a gods damn Weapon fuckin' accosted me and freakin' ate my memo like it was yesterday's Wutaian leftovers so I totally had no way of knowin' what time we--"
Rod froze, mid-excuse, the very picture of disarray as his eyes went wide with the realization that the room was awfully full -- meaning he had quite the audience.
"Uh..." Abruptly, Rod dropped his hands away from his lopsided, haphazardly knotted tie, one moving to run his fingers self-consciously through his hair while the other reached back, grasping (as casually as possible) for the other sleeve of his blazer -- which was currently hanging inside out -- in a failed attempt to pull the jacket the rest of the way on. This would be the part where he attempted to save face after such a grand and not-at-all-embarrassing entrance. 'Cause that was totally doable. Totally. "Heyyyyyy, guys! Shit, there's more of us than I thought there'd be. So... did I, y'know, miss anything?"
no subject
He couldn't help it. He had to say that, just to see the look on Rod's face. Honestly he had missed the punk and teasing him made it feel like they were back home, if just for a moment.
"Just the intro for Xion and Shion."

Luckily he was prevented from answering by the new arrival, he blinked at his appearance and Reno's reaction but managed a smile. "Hello!"
no subject
"Well... I know how to use the Keyblade, and I can do some magic," she explained, "Plus Reno's been-"
And at that point she was interrupted by Rod's arrival, jumping slightly and shrinking away a little in surprise, eyes wide. His words though, as well as Reno's reaction, though, gave her a clue that this person was supposed to be at the meeting as well. She glanced down and away, her face twisting a little as something very like a giggle bubbled in the back of her throat.
At last she looked up, nervously, muttering, "Hey."

Hey, at least he had his tie, this time.
Sighing heavily, he accepted the offered alcohol from Reno before shuffling over to plop down next to Siira. A big gulp of the alcohol had him coughing, his eyes watering as he beat his chest to clear his windpipe. "Ifrit's balls, packs a kick, don't it?"
Xion and Shion's introductions apparently weren't lost during his temporary fit, however, because he perked up almost immediately afterwards, eyes moving between the two new recruits.
"Hey, so, hold up, this means I finally ain't the rookie anymore, don't it?" He grinned brightly at the two kids. Oh, this was going to feel so good. "Welcome to the Turks, rookies!"
no subject
He gave a bit of a chuckle though. "No, you're still a Rookie, Rookie. You've just got a couple of other rookies to keep an eye on. You're just the oldest Rookie."
