[Although they didn't need to eat for the past week, Kuja still finds himself drawn to the food. Eating has a huge psychological impact, and the act can improve one's mental health, needed or not.

Right now Kuja is delicately partaking of Queensmeal. He's also holding a pale green drink of some sort...

Overall, he doesn't seem particularly perturbed by anything that just happened.]

"It's basically like a party with food and drinks and stuff at the end of an event."

Taro toddles over to where Alcor is, looking exhausted.

[He'd come in with the others, leaning on a friend as they gathered together.

Yu says nothing. Does not even think about approaching the food after they're left to their own devices. Instead, Yu focuses on trying to find the others he knows, even if only vaguely... At least, until the pain becomes too much and he's forced to lean against the wall, holding his abdomen. His Personas can't cause any more damage right now, but what was caused before still hurts like hell.]

What a pain... [He frowns, slowly sliding down to the floor.]

Legolas watched Ruana silently, watched her have 'prizes' handed out among three people. To make the pain Zelda suffered into a way to make her a winner made him physically ill, which only made feel more exhausted than he already felt.

"Amin feuya ten' lle." He said simply, speaking his own tongue as he passed by Ruana to look at the table. The sight of food from Middle Earth almost raised his spirits and he took a piece of Lembas and a small cordial of Miruvor. Neither would help him at this point but anything from home was a blessing. He could almost smell the earthy scents of Mirkwood or hear the songs of the Elves.

He'd never felt so homesick as he did now. Not once in his three thousand years.

[Ken heads over to Yu, leaning over and putting a hand on his shoulder. There's nothing to say, but he wants Yu to know that he's there. He wishes he could heal him, but their powers aren't working still, so all he can do is just stand with him.]

[Yu looks up, nodding to Ken. He knows, and he's grateful for Nemesis' forced healing making it easier while they were in the pods. Maybe when they're back, they can do something together. Even if it's just killing all the monsters and letting Ken have most of the experience.]

[Ken heads over to the table, and grabs some water and some omurice, wandering back over to Yu. He hands him both and leans against the wall himself.]

You should at least try to eat.

"...why would we have one of those? I."

He rested his palm against his cheek, genuinely baffled more than angry.

"Is this to sow more discord...?"

"Theoretically it would be to get back on our 'good sides'. Realistically I think most of us are too jaded at this point to ever think of them as less than horrible again."

He reaches over and pats Alcor on the leg. "Don't think about it too much."

Zelda drops her "prize" on the floor, stomps on it for good measure, then makes her way to stand near the elevator.

Goddesses she wants out of this place.]

[He watches Zelda silently and goes to join her before long. The effects this game of theirs had on her tugged most at his heart. The elf stood beside her and offered her a piece of Lembas, not asking questions or saying anything.

He was sure that if there was anything she felt needed to be said, she'd say it.]

"...I suppose you are right." Still, his mouth was gonna be permanently stuck downturned. Why would he eat food after this month? He's never going to eat again if he can help it.

"I can't imagine anyone would trust this food, however."

<sub>[She'd caught the motion out the corner of her eye as he started sliding down, and clambers over to him with a great racket.

She falters once she gets there, clearly self-conscious over the ruckus she made in rushing over - but screw it, everyone knows all and well it's out of their control by now.]</sub>

Well, he managed to gather that. You know, from the overall attitude pervading the room, as well as the 'victory gifts' and such.

But, he's still going to try and be calm in his confusion. For Sayaka's sake.

"But, why? I." He covered his mouth, half-realizing this was the first he'd spoken in length in a week or so. "I can't comprehend it."

[If nothing else, she's not feeling numb or empty anymore. No, just thoroughly unamused. Thanks, Ruana. Really.

With a still tense and clenched jaw, she glances over to Legolas as he takes his place next to her, eying the bread with just a bit of wary curiosity.

She doesn't really trust the food, but well. There's no real point to poisoning them now, and Legolas is eating it besides. She takes the offering with a small nod.]

[Her voice is quiet and curt, but she doesn't mean and disrespect, honestly.]

[He didn't see much reason for them to poison any of the food at all, and he was sure he'd taste the change in the Lembas if they had tried. Although, he was curious as to how they had gotten it. The recipe was shared with precious few outside the Elves.]

A single bite is enough to feed a fully grown Man. I'm not sure that matters here, however.

[Legolas doesn't make any comments about her being curt. They all have a right to be, especially Zelda and the other so-called winners of this week.]

"Probably not. Though at this point, there's not that much they can do to... some of us."

He looks over at Jason's group and frowns.

Since this past week has proven that we do not need to eat should they will it, I am quite sure it does not.

[There is no question who she means by "they," obviously, by the way the word comes out sharp as a barb. She stares at the Lembas in her hand, turning it this way and that to inspect it. Anything for a distraction.]

... That is an interesting quality, however. Almost miraculous, from my perspective.

[Oh yes, there's no question. As light a mood as he's trying to keep, his face does harden just a bit at the mention of them.]

It's a recipe that we Elves hold and very rarely do we give it to outsiders. It can be kept fresh for many months, so long as it is wrapped in leaves. Custom dictates that only women bake Lembas but here... it's likely not a custom these people are upholding.

[He looked around for somewhere close by that they could sit, so Zelda could flee to the elevator as soon as they were ready to go but settled for just sitting against the wall.]

I apologize for sitting without you. I'm surprisingly worn out from the month.

[And that's all very interesting, honestly, but... she still doesn't quite have the spirit for keeping up with idle prattle. So she simply nods, taking a small bite out of politeness (she's not that hungry, needless to say), her eyebrows raising just a bit as she realizes she feels like she ate a full course meal. Huh.

As Legolas sits, however, she slides down to join him.]

Is it really so surprising? We have all been through a great deal.

[Elf/Maiar food is just fantastic, isn't it? Legolas could survive off this indefinitely as long as he thought back to the food Eowyn cooked.]

A bit. Elves are usually much more resistant to extremes of nature, illness and disease. I endured worse during the War of the Ring, over a century ago.

[Oh Ilúvatar, he was exhausted.]

[Yu waits for Ken to come back then stares at the sustenance handed to him, nodding slightly.]

...Get yourself some too, and I'll try. [He... hates eating alone, so even if it's just water that Ken gets for himself... it'll count for him.]

[... He sighs, and goes to grab himself a bottle of water. He sits down next to Yu.]
