Open!
Characters: Terezi Pyrope and all of you!
Setting: Dormitory hallways
Format: Prose to start, but I'll match!
Summary: Terezi's just arrived after a pretty traumatic event back in the Veil.
Warnings: Nope!
Terezi had scoured the room she'd woken up in for some sort of clue as to where she was, and had only found a letter. If that letter was telling the truth, she thought it was pretty ridiculous that whoever was in charge was saving her now, when Alternia was already largely barren and lifeless.
So she wandered out of the room into the hallway, sniffing carefully as she went. Nothing like the Veil, of course. Everything is too clean and bright and sugary. There was still blue blood, bright as paint, on her that she couldn't manage to scrub off, and so she'd left it. If this was some sort of trick, she just hoped everyone back in the Veil was safe.

He stops short and points wildly at it. It's taken the form of magenta Sollux for him, but he knows better by now. Slowly. Backing away.]
There. Right fucking there!
no subject
I can't smell it!

[Turn, slight shove, steer away. That's what's happening to you right now, Terezi.]
no subject
I want to check it out!
no subject
[Best for her to find out herself, right?]
no subject
Where is it?

[Placing his hands on her shoulders to turn her around and face the creature, stonefaced. He'll be prepared to jerk her away if the BAD FEELINGS in general aren't enough to force her away.]

It's making her feel almost sick, but she stands her ground.]
What is it?

But it was talking to me. Trying to pretend it was someone it wasn't. Probably a good thing you can't see them.
[Geeeeently trying to ease her away from it.]
no subject
Who was it pretending to be?

[Turning her around and pushing her away from the phantom. He feels a bit sick to his stomach now also, and he's prepared to get as far away from that creature as possible.]

Is this a daring rescue from my fearless leader?

[She turns, leaning forward to sniff his neck.]
Yours is a different color than mine!
no subject
[Tugging at it with a bit of disgust.]
no subject
[She tugs on her own. BRIGHT ORANGE AWWW YEAH.]
no subject
[...also its slowly dawning on him that you just sniffed his neck.]
no subject
Mine is like tangerines!
no subject
So is it just us?

no subject
Fuck. Now what?
