Characters: Tavros and
towerofanimus!
Setting: Nighttime, wandering the tower in various places, stairwells.
Format: Starting with action, but I can match!
Summary: Tavros doesn't want to stay cooped up in his room, but it's probably a stupid idea to leave at the same time.
Warnings: There will be death!
[Tavros had been taking the chance, honestly, when he had decided to start wandering around the darkened corridors that made up the tower at the moment. He couldn't stay in his room, though, even if there was some light in there. Being cooped up in there wasn't something he could do, even if he had his Fiduspawn cards with him and that would've been enough to entertain him for a short while, at least.
So! There's a young troll boy that's cautiously walking through the halls. He might be trying to find the source of everything, too, but with no success. He keeps hearing the voices of his friends, but he's so sure they aren't there-- at least, he thinks. One of them could've arrived and he hadn't seen them yet because everyone was so preoccupied with the issues they were facing now.
Either way, there is a thirteen-year-old troll boy cautiously moving through the hallways and up and down the stairwells-- anyone want to talk to him? He's trying to be brave, even if he thinks it's fake bravery. ]

If Vriska is doing it, then it can't be good. It's just a step, though, and nothing more than that. He doesn't give Vriska an answer, either.]

She's huge and menacing and Vriska still doesn't want to get eaten by this thing.]
no subject
And that wasn't really a good step to take.
With a gasp, he starts tumbling backwards, trying to grab onto something that will stop his fall, but not managing to grab onto anything.]

What is it with you and stairs, Nitram? It was funny the first time, but now it's just getting old!
[She glances back at the phantom briefly before she heads down the stairs to go find the idiot who can't seem to use them properly.]

Either way, he couldn't move.
He hated falling like this.]

By the time Vriska gets there, he's trying to move but can't.]

[Looming over him. She can either leave him there and go after a phantom or she can attempt to help him.
It's a tough decision.]

He's trying to move away from her, and at the same time, further away from the phantoms that are stalking after them.
That energy draining sure is awful, isn't it.]

[She casually nudges him in the side with her foot. She's still not as worried as she should be about the whole situation. But she's confident she can handle these stupid phantoms. Even if that one that looks like her lusus is a little intimidating.]
no subject
[His voice is softer than it usually is at this point-- from both the pain and the energy loss and everything that came with these phantoms.]
no subject
[She's a little too focused on him, and doesn't notice the phantom closing in until a long leg sweeps into her, slamming her into the wall.]
Shit!

She couldn't fight properly like this. Not with her mind on two things at once and the exhaustion creeping under her skin, settling in her bones as the phantom of her lusus saps the energy from her.
She tries to roll her dice, to achieve the coveted ancestral awakening. Nothing. Her dice are utterly useless.]

But god, he sure just wanted to close his eyes and sleep right now.]
