Characters: Ghiraher and anyone she can manage to drag with her
Settings: Floor 22
Format: Will start with prose, but matching yours
Summary: Ghiraher has found something in the art room that has filled her mood with kittens and rainbows~
Warnings: ......It's a Ghirahim.
Whatever the inhabitants of the tower are doing, if they're within one or two floors of the art room, they'll come across the female Ghirahim. She's not making any threatening moves, and she's not in the mood to even harm her worst enemy at this point. She's got an honest, actual smile on her face! Not a smirk by any means! Her eyes are wide with excitement as she grabs the arm of this resident--she might not even know their name or have met them before, but she doesn't care.
"Come with me! It's absolutely amazing! You won't believe it..." She laughs, starting to drag them up--or down--to the art room. "I didn't think this place had the good sense to put something like this here..."
She shivers with delight, laughing as she still insistently drags her captive with her. "This was just the thing I needed to improve my mood. Don't be so slow, you need to see this!"
And this big, important Thing that she needs to show them? A mural that definitely wasn't in the art room before. A woman with blackened skin and stone scales along her body, her hair a long trailing gout of flame, seated cross-legged on charred and cracked earth. Her left hand holds her sword, driven deep into the ground. Her right hand is in a gesture of blessing. Her eyes aren't part of the mural at all, but actual rubies set into the mural wall.
...Okay...?

Tara immediately starts trying to dig in her heels when she's dragged onto this floor. Not the gallery, not the gallery, not the gallery, it's going to be a very long while before she can come this way at anything but a fast walk for the stairs down.
But, seeing as how she's still pretty weak and wobbly, courtesy of her beatdown from Minato just a few days ago, there's not a lot that she can do to break Ghiraher's grip. Tara had known that it was too soon to be out of bed. At least she'd only been dragged a couple of floors - she migh t have collapsed if it was more.
...still, when she's finally pulled to a stop in front of the mural...Tara is impressed. She can admire the artwork, and doesn't even find it terribly different from the sort of artwork she might have kept back home. It's clearly some sort of warrior goddess figure, and such a sight is really almost comforting to the witch.
"It's beautiful."

Ghirahim laughed and reached her hand up to touch the mural. "Ahh, Mistress Demise... I will find a way to resurrect her. Then the world will know her true beauty once more."
no subject
The answer is still potentially not encouraging.
"M-Mistress Demise? Is that her name? I mean, um, it's kind of a descriptive name, s-so I'm sorry if this is, um, a silly question, but...w-what kind of goddess is she?"
no subject
"Of course it's her name." Ghirahim turned to face the human she'd found to share this discovery with. "She is the one who existed before the three Golden Ones descended. But there will come a day--very soon in fact--where I will resurrect her. And she will once again be a terrible goddess of death, the destroyer of all existence!"
She laughed. "It's nothing personal, though."

Oh, dear.
Maybe if she keeps this...person talking, and keeps up her interest long enough, she can leave without something awful happening to her again. It's actually not that hard. Religion is a matter very close to Tara's heart, as a witch. And all religions have a place for death and destruction. Just because a god carries out such things doesn't necessarily make them evil.
"Um, then w-why is she doing it? If it's not personal, I mean. W-Why would she bother? Is it s-something about the 'Golden Ones'?"
no subject
"Does it matter? I am but her humble servant..." She pet her fingers over the painted image of the sword in the goddess's hand. "And she is my mistress. I will resurrect her to her full glory."
no subject
A little overly tetchy, maybe, but knowledge is an important thing to Tara.
"W-Why do you want your world to be destroyed? Is it that awful? Or, or do you just love her that much? And, a-and your world might already be gone, anyway. All of ours' might be gone."
no subject
She approached the human woman and smirked. "I don't know my mistress's motivations. Nor do I care. As long as I am reunited with her, and I have taken on my proper role, I don't care about much at all. ...And the fun we will have..."
She chuckled deep in her throat. "After all, what greater joy does a weapon have than feeding on the blood of her mistress's enemies?" Her long tongue flickered across her lips at the very idea of it.

It's a truth she knows all too well. Love can drive you to do anything, give anything, just to be with the object of your desires.
But there had to be a line somewhere. There had to, or it stopped being love, and started being obsession or worse.
"It, it doesn't m-mean you love her any less if you ask, though. I, I mean, information is good, it lets you do better, and...and you deserve to know, if you're this close to her. I mean, i-if you don't want to ask, th-that's obviously different. I-I'm just...saying."
And maybe over-identifying just a bit.

"I don't." Ghirahim looked back at the mural with pride, considering the part of it directly pertaining to herself. "....Is...my blade really that wide...?"
no subject
She looks politely back at the painting. "Y-You'd know, um, better than I would. I-I didn't know about M-Mistress Demise at all, until you brought me down here."

Hopefully this will not become a trend.

He looked at the mural when they arrived and opened wide eyes.
"Great Scott!!"
He looked some more at it, unsure. How strange, definitely not human, nor good intentioned from what he could say. He just looked at the detail for a while, before turning to Ghirahim.
"What strange manner of being. A friend of yours I assume?"

And then he turns to beam at Ghirahim. "Is that someone you know?"
no subject
"But of course. My beautiful mistress... sealed away like a common demon by a wretched goddess... I will resurrect her to her true power, though. And I will be by her side again..."
/forever late; sorry it's been busy!
"Sealed away?" he echoes, his expression turning thoughtful as he looks up at the picture again. "Why was she sealed away?"
It's okay! I'm just as awful so. ;;
She sighs happily at the memory. "It was such a wonderful time...we hunted them down without mercy. The taste of their blood on my blade was pure ecstasy!"
