What a time to need extra food...

Characters: Enoch and Dojima (and potentially anyone who overhears? Contact us for a threadcrash if you want!)
Setting: Room 3-18, lunchtime, backdated to the 7th
Format: Prose
Summary: In most circumstances, Enoch wouldn't think to even eat lunch, but these aren't most circumstances. His body needs to heal!
Warnings: Weakness from injury, gross foods? I don't know, I'll update if need be.

Once the bleeding had been stopped, measures against shock taken, and adequate water had been brought to him, Enoch slept. He spent most of the day sleeping, waking only for the most immediate needs, after which he returned to sleep, his body healing and his mind worn out from the frantic search for a prize pod.

When he woke the next day, it wasn't so bad, thankfully - he was more alert and had more strength in his voice, though he was still lethargic and couldn't get out of bed for very long.

Therefore, it was up to his roommate to bring him his meals. Breakfast hadn't been so bad, but Dojima would find the lunch menu a little hard to figure out.

One thing Dojima knew for sure was that he was not going to bring such a sick man natto to choke him on the stringy fermentation byproducts. The menu was not making him easy on him, though. He hoped Enoch would not mind the durian for dessert, preceded by some kimchi and a century egg to begin.

"Room service," Dojima said as he entered the room, safe in the knowledge it was only Enoch and him in there.

Dojima looked at his tray, then at Enoch. "I got you the most edible stuff I could find," he explained. He was aware it looked... exotic.

"I got you kimchi and century eggs for the main course," he said as he pointed to the dishes, "and durian for dessert. Don't worry, it's all good for you." At least he assumed it was. What could go wrong with vegetables, fruits and eggs, right?

"Yeah. They're not actually a century old, though." He put the tray on the little table to help Enoch sit up before putting the tray in his lap and handing him a plastic fork and knife.

"Probably the rumour they do take a hundred years to make, I guess." Luckily for Enoch, the century egg tasted like a normal cooked egg; the texture was more like a jelly than an egg, however.

Perhaps fortunately, Dojima had picked a mildly spicy kimchi. The pickled vegetables might taste a little bland, but Dojima figured it was better than bringing something too hot for Enoch.

Dojima was getting more unsure of this choice by the minute. "You... don't have to eat everything, y'know."

"... like it?" At least enough to not spit it in Dojima's face, apparently.

That's better than expected. "I'll bring the same tomorrow." Because he doesn't trust the rest, especially that cheese.
