Backdated to 14th (Suzaku and Lelouch)

Characters: Suzaku Kururugi and Lelouch vi Britannia
Setting: floor 20, after Suzaku has met Minato
Format: Prose
Summary: After meeting Minato and realising he's been Geassed Suzaku confronts Lelouch
Warnings: So much angst, also probably mentions of spoilers of Code Geass. Maybe a little bit of violence? Will add if necessary

The moment Suzaku left Minato he went looking for Lelouch. He was shaking with anger; mostly at himself. He should have guessed, after all he had seen the Geass sigel flare in his eyes when they had spoken last. He had tried to Geass Suzaku he should have guessed he had tried; and succeeded with others.

Though he knew logically that it wasn't his fault that just the day after speaking to Lelouch he had ended up on his doomed world, but he still felt responsible. He had left... and who knew who else Lelouch had Geassed.

Really he had no idea what he would acomplish by confronting Lelouch, except confirmation that it was as he thought. It was just putting off what he had to do...

He reached floor twenty and his eyes narrowed when he saw Lelouch there.

"Lelouch."

There was no emotion from him, apart from a stoic gaze, peering at Suzaku's face. Silence continued, 5 seconds, 30 seconds, and finally at a minute, a smirk slowly began to form on his face.

"I'd say it's high-time this tower is due for, ah, a very late spring-cleaning"

"After all, you were too busy moping about, [as usual] an alternative had to be found, and Minato's power proved to be useful in the end." By this time, the smirk had completed it's course. And rather than manic laughter as usual, he raises his right hand, and then his index finger, before wagging it side to side, all the while uttering "tsk," as the fingers reached each side.

"Don't you have something more important to take care of, Knight of Zero?"

And as he left, Lelouch turned back towards the empty room.

"Suzaku, this is for your own good."

With those words said, he descended into a small chuckle, which thankfully doesn't evolve into a mad laughter.

"After all, I'm the only one able to steer you to the right path."
