wandering dog [OPEN]

Characters: Goro Majima ([personal profile] bewareofdog) and OPEN.
Setting: Dormitories.
Format: Action, but will do prose.
Summary: Majima wakes up to find that his entire world is destroyed. Quietly, he decides to go for a walk around his new "home."
Warnings: More than a little agitated, let me know if you want to have a fight with him.

[ My entire world is destroyed? Who would believe that shit? But... this seems real enough. A nightmare? Kiryu-chan wouldn't die that easily. 'specially since I'm the one who is gonna kill him. Saejima. Daigo. Majima Family. Tojo Family. All gone? What a joke!

It is more of a shock to hear what has happened that is slowing sinking in for him. He is not raging about, nor trying to destroy what living arrangements that he has. Simply walking around the halls of the dormitories in a lost, dazed state. He has seen outside to believe enough to think that this isn't any place that could be on Earth. How is he supposed to live happily when he knows that those he cares about are dead? When those he has pledged to kill die by some means that wasn't his hand?! Exactly -- what should he do?

marchwarden: (❧ what was that just now?)

[ The two of them are both as prideful as the next, a funny truth considering how different they seem to be. ]

The Majima Family of...what?

[ Haldir let out a slight sigh. ]

How could you possibly be from two different houses? Isn't it common for humans to stick with merely one house?

Yakuza? Hm...

[ Haldir visibly bristled a little at that "freak" comment. Is it truly so difficult for this foppish fool to show an ounce of respect to him? Not even the people of Middle-earth were this rude. ]

You would do well not to refer me as such, but I take it that you never heard of the Galadrim before.
marchwarden: (❧ as frigid as ice)

[ An umbrella? One doubts that umbrellas were invented during the Third Age, but at least Haldir knows what branches are. Still this colorful metaphor doesn't do much to illustrate a well enough picture about the Majima's affiliation with the Tojo.

Not that this matters now, of course. ]

Don't you dare compare the Elves of Lothlórien to food.

Not precisely, my dimwitted friend.

[ Stifling back a groan that nearly escaped him, Haldir decides to answer the oaf's question to the best of his abilities. ]

The Galadrim is the name of the royal Lothlórien army, a force comprised of Elves of mixed descent. I, myself, is a Silvan Elf better known as a "Wood-elf" amongst your kind.

[ Stunned to silence by this scoundrel's blatant disrespect, Haldir suddenly takes a step forward and reaches to snatch Majima up by his collar. ]

Do you wish to test my patience, you worthless hound?
marchwarden: (❧ under the watchful gaze of a silver mo)

You'll remain just a mere "hound" until you see it right to call me by name, Majima.

[ Haldir was half expecting this man to throw down the gauntlet and fight, but surprisingly---no such thing happened. Instead, Majima simply gazed back at him coolly with defiance. ]

...You annoy me.

[ He let's Majima go. ]

Call me by name or don't waste your breath talking to me. I possess little fondness for nicknames.

[ Trying desperately to figure out why he hadn't turned away yet, Haldir actually stands there and observes the hound as he smokes that awful smelling pipe. He never seen anything like a cigarette before until now, especially such inventions had yet to come about in his medieval realm, much like firearms. Haldir watched Majima with a hint of wonder in his gaze until the lowly scoundrel spoke.

Soon that gleam of admiration shifted back to annoyance. ]

...I suppose.

[ He reluctantly answered. ]

There's other reasons behind my foul mood but you hadn't helped make it any better.

[ Out of all the foul name calling and vulgar language Haldir has heard since arriving in this god forsaken tower, the Elf has never been so mortified in all his years. How dare this pompous ass of a donkey talk to him such a disgusting manner. The marchwarden was utterly beside himself as he thought of kicking some sense into Majima. His urge to kick this man was great, but it was the strength of the Valar themselves that stopped him from doing so.

Therefore, instead of attempting to kill Majima, Haldir turns hastily to leave. ]

Amin feuya ten' lle!

[ He shouted as he quickly walked away. ]
