[ Did you lock your door? If that's a 'No', a teenager with wild hair and a silly-looking costume has just burst in. If that's a 'Yes', that same teenager is now phasing his head right through the door and peering inside. ]

Is this the exit? The layout of this place sure is weird.

[ It's quite clear that this boy is trying to get out, and what better way to do that than open every door until an exit manifests itself? ]

That's too bad. Big-Foot's extinct in the 30th century, so I wanted to meet him at least once when I'm here.

I am Fawkes! And...it would appear that I happened to my bed upon my arrival here.

Kinda. But my Grandma sent me to this century.

It is rather small. And I am rather large, so. They apparently had a suit that would fit me, but not a bed.

...hmmn. Curious. Granted, from as far off as you come, it is entirely possible that society could have been rebuilt in the span of 700-ish years.

I ask as that happened in my world - and around 200 years after the fact, things have not recovered much - if at all.

[If it could support Fawkes' weight, that would be grand. Then again, his height would also require a bigger mattress for actual comfort, but seeing as this is a step up from the wasteland already, he's not going to be asking for more any time soon.]
