Characters: Cross Blanchard and You
Setting: Floor Twenty Seven, anywhere
Format: Action but any is fine
Summary: Cross is doing his own rounds of the tower. Seeing if there are any monsters about. If he's not doing that, he's in the Lab working on stuff.
Warnings: Maybe some fighting.
Lab
[Cross is sitting on a work bench looking over one of his spare mechanical arms. He flips it over tinkering with it. He had gotten a good look at Ed's and saw a lot of things in Ed's arm he could use to improve his.] So lets see....if I just adjust it like this, turn the spring halfway... [Feel free to ask what he's doing. He'll be sure to go into great length.]
Anywhere
[Cross is making his rounds on the tower. Wherever he goes, he's peeking around the corners, sword out as he looks about. No monsters have come out yet, but he wants to be ready for just about anything.]
Come out monsters, come out. I'm not going to hurt you...
[Okay bold faced lie, but you know. Need to kill as many of those creatures so they don't wander into the living quarters and hurt people.]

Do you even know what they are?
[Cross gives him a bit of an observing look, hands on his sides. But what he hears next makes the boy feel maybe a bit uneasy, if this guy can't fight that is.]
Well I don't mind, but can you fight? Cause if not, you're better off here.
