Setting: Starting in room 3-10 and then various floors.
Format: Action, but I'll match you.
Summary: Dextera woke up after dying back home and found out the world ended. Again. Problem with that is he was supposed to fix it to ease his sins. Kinda can't do that now.
Warnings: None.


[According to the note, Dextera had failed. The world was destroyed. It was gone and his sin wouldn't be fixed. That guilt wouldn't go away.

He left the room he found himself in as quietly as he could and made his way around the tower. Upwards instead of going down. That was oddly strange in itself but Dextera didn't notice it as much as he should have. The mute just continued to wander, on occasion fiddling with the collar covered by the neck of his shirt. Dextera didn't understand why he had that now either, but then again, he didn't understand a lot of things.

...he'd like an answer, now that he thought about it. Where there people here that could give him an answer? It looked like people lived here. Maybe he wasn't the only one from his world here. Was the Archangel here? Maybe. Dextera should find him if that was the case.

So the mute starts walking a little faster in search of someone who wasn't there, peaking around the corners carefully. He was sure he wasn't in the Neuro Tower anymore, but it never hurt to be safe. Dextera didn't want to die again.]

[Don't worry, he's definitely normal. It's the manifestation of an ancient Time God that would be the inhuman one.]

--Uh! Sorry! [He kind of jumped back a little bit himself, mostly for gear of him not wanting to hurt him or anything.] Don't worry...! I'm not trying to hurt you or anything... Are you OK...?

[it takes Dextera a minute to remember that staring isn't polite and he drops his gaze, nodding. he was fine, the world ending for a second time thing was the only thing that was upsetting the mute.

speaking of, he taps his throat and shakes his head. hopefully Jun gets what he means by that.]

[nemophila]

You can't speak...?

[Luckily, Jun's a tad bit smarter than most of his other friends, so it didn't take him too long. Hopefully that was all, and he didn't have some sort of bug in his throat or something.]

[he nods. good...sometimes he wasn't able to get a message across all that well and he did not know what would happen now that he was here and found by someone. but this person looked safe, so maybe they were fine...]

[nemophila]

[Well it was good that that was the only reason he wasn't talking. But then the second problem became about communication...and he didn't know sign language or anything...]

Are you new here? Is there... anything I can do to help you right now?

[Dextera nods but realizes he couldn't ask. no voice...he had blood to write with though...

the mute bites down hard enough on his finger to draw blood and ducks down to write a message.]

Don't know where I am.

[nemophila]

[Jun couldn't help but wince when the guy drew his own blood to communicate. It... certainly did the trick, but he made a mental note to make sure they found him another way to communicate.]

It's... It's some sort of tower. [He began, once he regained his composure.] Other than it not being our home, that's all they've felt inclined to share with us.

You could easily live here-- [You know, aside from the monsters--] but there doesn't seem to be any way out.

[Dextera tilts his head and scribbles something else down.]

They said my home was gone. But I want to go back. [he needed to go back.]

[nemophila]

We can't. Either our homes truly are destroyed, or they're determined to keep us away from them. And either way, no one's been able to figure out how to leave. I'm, sorry....

[rightsiderequiem]

[now he really looks upset and doesn't write anything for a minute. so it was true...he did fail. maybe that death was one too many.]

It's okay.

[nemophila]

[He can't help but deepen his frown even more, despite the reassurance.]

The best we can do now is cope I suppose... maybe, we should find something to help you communicate better. I don't think it'd be entirely pleasant to have to cut yourself whenever you need to...

I don't mind.

[he holds up his hand to prove his point. although it's going slowly the cut was already healing. provided nothing decided to chop his head off in the next few minutes, it would be okay to continute writing like this.]

[nemophila]

Ah--! [The speed at which the cut was healing definitely caught him by surprised. It's only a little, but he's visibly shocked.

Once he gets over the initial surprise, he's... well he's still kind of bewildered, but at least it wasn't too bad?] Um... if you're sure....

[rightsiderequiem]

[Dextera tilts his head slightly. he hadn't expected that kind of reaction, but then again, this person seemed normal manifestation of his psyche aside.. maybe fixing himself like this wasn't normal.]

[nemophila]

[That's totally normal though, right?]

No, if you're OK with it, it's fine. [He's preeeeetty unsure, but he's smiling nevertheless.] I'm more worried about you, to be honest. But I guess since you can heal it's not too bad.

Dextera blinks when Jun says he's worried about him but moves on.]

Is there anything I can do here?

Um... [Hmm...]

I know there's an organized effort to try and deal with this place, and escape. But I don't think anyone's figured out how to leave yet. I'm sure there are plenty of people that could use help though...
