Characters: Satou and you!
Setting: Floors 25, 28 & 38
Format: Starting in prose, but will switch to match you!
Summary: Newbie Satou explores Block Two of the tower and make a general fool of herself while trying to be better than she is.
Warnings: Satou might start swearing
Floor 25
Being trapped in a tower meant only one thing for Satou; she had to get to the top. There was no logic involved in this decision beyond the fact that the top of a tower just seems like the place to be. Why make it so tall if you're not going to the top, right? Besides, she wants to know how tall the darned thing really is.
After eating her porridge, Satou began the long haul up the stairs. She had been zipping through floors until now, determined to set a new record for herself (by which we mean, her first record), but is drawn to a stop when she reaches floor 25.
"That's strange..." She cautiously leaves the staircase, stepping onto the floor and spinning to get a good look around. "I've never heard of a floor with a flower meadow..."
The Witch of Sins hesitated, then walked further into the room... Standing for a moment, then flopping onto her back without another word and staring up blankly.
"This joke is really stupid..."
Floor 28
Though she really was trying to get to the top as quickly as possible, Satou can't help but pause on this floor and admire the musical instruments. She watches them silently, her finger twitching at the memory of her old piano playing hobby, before quietly approaching and sliding that same finger over the surface of a piano's lid.
"I wonder if I'm allowed to play this...?" The witch's words slipped off her tongue without her thinking. Hearing herself speak helped Satou snap out of it, laughing nervously and pulling her hand back. "Wh-who am I kidding? I'm so terrible, they'd throw me out a window or something!"
Floor 38
Climbing up all of the floors was not an easy task. Though she only stopped on a couple floors to explore, the mere act of pulling herself up that staircase was exhausting. She's therefore not sure how she feels about arriving in what looks to be a lounge; she's been told her world has ended and here she is provided a place to put up her feet and rest!
After huffing in annoyance, Satou does just that. Hypocritical when she thinks so poorly of the offer, maybe, but she cannot deny that she's tired. It's only after she sits down that she will notice any other people in the lounge, prompting her to turn bright red and quickly stand up again while yelping an apologetic "S-sorry! I'll leave you be!" before turning and tripping over the couch she just sat on. Real classy, Satou.
Floor 28
He's looking at the harp, contemplating playing it, when he hears a voice.
"I don't think anyone will mind if you play," he absently says, inspecting the harp and running his fingers across the strings. "Except other people, perhaps, but I certainly wouldn't object."
Re: Floor 28
She turned to look at the stranger, noting his instrument of interest.
"Do you play the harp?"

He plays a few notes, before lifting his hands off the strings, gazing at it wistfully.
"I used to, a little. But I didn't have too much time for music, back then."
He shrugs a little, and then smiles at Satou. "Do you play any other instruments beside the piano?"
no subject
"I used to play the violin." She responded, though she was very quick to tag along "But that was a long time ago! Mother gave the violin to my sister when we moved."
She hadn't touched either instrument in ages. Even the piano, which she'd have more time to bond with, was something she hadn't played except in empty hotel lobbies or piano shops when no one tried to stop her.
"Um, sorry though, but... I don't think I got your name? I'm Satou."
no subject
"Satou? You must be from Japan somewhere, then. My name is...well, you can call me Monday."
He had another name once, but he can't really remember it. It's been such a long time since he used it.
Floor 38
"H-- Hey, you OK?!" Geez gurrl, calm down. "No need to apologize, really...!"

"No, no I'm fine! I wasn't doing anything important or anything," He replied, waving his hands a bit and chuckling a bit to try and ease the tension. "It's not trouble at all, really."

Take that, chair.
"Um but-! I'm... kinda new here, actually! Do people come up here often?"
no subject
Although the fact that she was new basically explained a lot.
"Yeah... it's one of the safer floors, so people come here if they just want to hang out or relax, I guess. There are other normal floors like this too, though."
