quick, someone feed him ice cream before he realizes its cold!
Characters: Roxas, eventually Ven, eventually Aqua, as well as ALL YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE except Eiji.
Setting: Early Sunday morning. Starting at floor thirteen, and descending as far as we get to.
Format: Either or!~
Summary: Roxas is a bit...pent up after being dead for a week. This obviously means it's time for ADVENTURE!
Warnings: We're gonna try to keep this to one comment tag, because we're insane. Don't worry about posting order or nadamucho.
Roxas wasn't sure how to feel about this. Waking up after that whole fiasco at the bonfire had been about as jarring as waking up in the tower to begin with. It didn't feel real, and when he'd finally been able to move, he'd booked it out of the shared room as quick as possible. After all, it was also Eiji's room as well and...that wasn't anything he wanted to deal with. In his desperate urge to keep away from there, he found himself checking on where the bonfire had been- no marks. Maybe it had been cleaned? He didn't know and didn't want to think about it.
By the time he descended the stairs...well, there hadn't been a cathedral before. He hadn't explored, but sure as heck had he walked down the stupid tower to get food. Had it just appeared during the blackout or something? That was just the last overwhelming hay in the needlestack. Without much further provocation- did he need it? -Roxas slumped down to sit on the bottom step leading in to floor thirteen, trying to get his bearings.
Damn, did he wish he could just go home.

She let him go after that to survey the church again. It was a beautiful place, she'd grant it that, but the lack of an echo was unsettling. Plus it was in this tower, which was enough reason to suspect it. If they were going to wander around, though...
Aqua drew her Keyblade with a sharp gleam of light, taking a few steps farther into the church towards the descending staircase. She stopped, turning to look back at the two blonds. "We can explore," she conceded with a smile. "But stay close, okay?"

"You have one of those too?!"
...don't freak out don't freak out don't freak out.

He glanced back at Roxas with curiosity at his exclamation. He followed his lookalike's sight to Aqua's Keyblade, and then he remembered with a look of realization on his face; "Ah, that's right! You have a keyblade too! I saw you summon it right before that creature froze you!"

Roxas' reaction drew a minor look of surprise, and she hefted Stormfall to look at it, as if she expected there to be something out of order. "Yeah. It's the weapon that we and our master use," she answered with a smile, assuming that the "too" tacked on was a reference to Ven's Keyblade.
She didn't expect Ven's comment, and her smile was replaced with a look of mild surprise. The young master glanced between Ven and Roxas, her gaze settling on the latter. "You can wield it too?" He seemed so surprised about its existence...maybe he'd just recently gone through his Awakening...?
"--wait," she interjected, eyebrows furrowing in apprehension. "Frozen? And you're saying I worry too much?"

Instead, he latched on to what Aqua seemed apprehensive about, nodding firmly in her direction. "Our room mate...he turned in to a monster. There was a kid with me, and the two of us couldn't get away in time, and..."
He wasn't sure if adding on 'oh and we died' would be a good idea, so the sentence just sort of hung empty.

"Uh..." Was about as much as he was able to get out to Aqua before Roxas took over explanations. He shuffled awkwardly a bit and rubbed the back of his head. And while they were both hopefully distracted with the fact that Roxas has technically died a week ago?
Ven attempted to quietly sneak his way onto the staircase to descend to the next floor. Doo dee doo nothing to see here he was totally innocent.

So she listened to his explanation, eyes narrowed a little in thought. "They're keeping you in a room with a monster?" she inquired with a note of disbelief. The young woman bowed her head a little to glare. She didn't much like this place. After a moment of quiet anger, Aqua lifted her head again. "I'm glad you're alright. Be careful, though." A pause, and then: "You do have ways to defend yourself."
With that comment made, Aqua looked towards Ven and gave him a very maternal glare, placing her hands delicately on her hips. "Ven," the Keyblade master called in a warning tone. "We're supposed to stay together."

He was admittedly taken slightly aback by Aqua's glare, but kept his face neutral. She really cared about Ven, didn't she? Roxas was sort of envious. It took him a moment to catch on to what she meant by 'defend himself, looking down at his hand and clenching it. "...I don't think that's an option. If anything happens, I have my struggle bat." Or he could just get a stick from the woods.
"What floor's below us now, anyway? I know this is new, but did everything change?" Instead of taking sides on the two friends, Rox accepted a third option.

He wasn't trying to sneak off now, but he was starting to walk again, taking the lead so that they could see the next floor. "I don't know, I haven't seen any of the new floors." Ever since the lights came back on he'd mostly been lurking around upstairs.
