Characters: Count Bleck (
bleh_heh_heh_bleck), OPEN
Setting: Library
Format: Starting with prose but will switch
Summary: Bleck is just searching through books, seeing if he can find anything interesting.
Warnings: None
The books in the library were all available to him. All but the ones that were removed by the administrators. And Bleck didn't mind that. For now. No, he was focusing on magic, dark magic. Spells that hadn't been available in his dimension before he'd killed his people.
He actually felt a bit guilty about that now, but not guilty enough to regret it. No, Count Bleck regretted nothing but allowing his father to take Timpani from him. So he'll be sitting in the library, a pile of books nearby. And the Dark Prognosticus floating alongside him, as always. As focused as he appeared though, he wasn't. He was thinking of a certain human woman he thought was dead, might not be, but most likely is.
"Timpani..."

He's been in kind of a weird funk since arriving, unable to really bring himself to be to upset about his new surroundings. Though maybe a ghost story
or fivewill do something to lighten his mood. Which brings him to the library, where he spends quite a bit of time wandering the shelves in an attempt to find something remotely chilling. So far he's found two books that look somewhat promising, and taking them in his arms he moves to find a table to sit at. And that's when he notices the the Dark Prognosticus. Br, making a beeline for that instead because hot damn there has to be something truly amazing in there.
Hi there Count Bleck, John's just going to stare at your magical floating book for now, okay? Okay.
"Any chance I can look through this when you're finished?"
Yes, apparently he thinks this is a library book...

"The Dark Prognosticus is for no ones hands but my own, as its chosen executor." He hadn't even let Nastasia handle the book, never letting it out of his sight. Even after killing his entire tribe, the book still remained in the hands of the Tribe of Darkness. And it would until he died and the book went with him.

"And that would have been most unwise. There are few who are capable of handling to dark power of this book." Is that... Wow. Did Bleck actually, maybe, express a minor concern for someone else?

It's a shame Rose isn't here. She would have a better appreciation for this sort of thing. Magic and wizards are more her thing.

"A pleasure, says Count Bleck."
