Summary: Minako's checking up on her dreaming friends, doing night patrol, and playing music. All the while quietly worrying.

MUSIC ROOM
[She's in her usual spot at the piano, playing a few songs half-heartedly. A while ago she'd told Minami that she wasn't much of a singer, and it was true-- she preferred humming. But all those nights alone spent at Mandragora wasn't for naught. She pauses after a moment and starts up a new song, her voice raising softly and gently with it.]

RANDOM HALLWAYS
[At the beginning of this fiasco, Minako wanted to help some of the people who were 'jumping' into dreams to awake up the dreamers. She knew the deep, dark secrets of her teammates, at least. Nothing they dreamed could phase her. But after she thought it over a little, she decided that she was better off protecting them outside in the real world-- their physical bodies were just as important as the state of their mind, after all. What if the Tower admins took advantage of the dreamers...? And she wanted the chance to think things over, besides. About Minami, about Strega Minato...about herself.

It wasn't like her to be so paranoid, but after being 'asleep' for so long, she's had enough. She keeps missing important events, keeps missing the things her friends are doing. She doesn't want to sleep anymore. She had enough of that when she was the Seal.

With a number of the Night Patrol guards dreaming, she'd taken it on herself to pick up their routes. She can be found hacking and slashing through monsters in the hallway during the night, an intense look on her face as she takes all of them down. Occasionally she'll pause by a doorway and peek inside, making sure one of her friends is alright.]

Music Room

[saudadist]

[ Most of Lucy's days are spent wandering the Tower and looking for things to do while wandering. Today she's found the music room, but based on the sounds, someone else is in there. She opens the door slowly and is content to wait there, just listening. ]

[complementing]

[Minako finishes the song with a trembling note before sighing, leaning back on the bench to stretch. She pauses when, head upside down, she spots Lucy at the door.]

Oh, hi there! Are you waiting to use the piano? I can leave if you'd like.

[saudadist]

[ She looks visibly startled, even jumping in the air. ]

No...I can't really...play.

[complementing]

[Minako straightens and turns around, tilting her head curiously.]

Oh, okay.

...would you like to try?

[saudadist]

[ She shakes her head slowly. ]

I wouldn't be any good at it. It's fine.

[complementing]

[She watches her for a moment before nodding.]

If you're sure. I'll just keep playing then, if that's okay?

[saudadist]

Yeah...go ahead. [ She only nods, and does her best not to look too uncomfortable. ]

Raaaandooooom Haaaaallwaaaaaays

[Being out late at night was unusual for him back home, and it certainly wasn't unusual now. He'd hardly been back to his room anymore, or else run into his insufferable roommates, so even if he wasn't on the silly little Night Patrol, it wasn't that unusual to find him around, fighting monsters on his own. He needed to keep himself occupied. That was most important.

Testing out explosives around here was also a very good use of his time; so down the way there was a nice, loud 'boom.']

Hallways

*Enoch wasn't able to sleep. There was a phantom haunting the third dorm floor and it was keeping him awake. So here he was, just one floor down. He hadn't expected to run into imps with brown-red hair that looked like strings of half-coagulated blood. That were strings of half-coagulated blood, he found as he made short work of them and one of them managed to splatter its "hair" all over his leg armor.

The human they'd been imitating would likely notice Enoch before he noticed her, given the Arch sounds very much like a lightsaber when swung.*

Night; Hallways

[Someone else noticed the lack of night patrol, too. So as Minako heads down the hall she'll hear a roar and a screeching, and as she approaches she'll see a white tiger clawing and biting at some Miniblins. He seems to have ripped an arm off of one, and smashed the skull of another.]

[A third leaps at him and he bats it out of the air, claws raking across its chest. He bites down on its throat and shakes - the creature's neck snaps and he releases it. Then he sits back on his haunches and starts grooming himself, ears pulled back a bit.]

Hey who wants to play the part of the charming wake-up prince?

[legatus]

[Guess who is sleeping in a corridor somewhere like a true hobo.]

[She smiles and turns back to the piano, starting to sing a new song.]

[Minako pauses when she hears the explosions, biting hard down on her lip. What happened in the Labyrinth was still clear in her mind as the day, so confronting him again wasn't exactly something at the top of her list.

She could still make sure he's okay though. For Ken's sake. So she quietly slinks down the corridor, sticking to the shadows just to observe him.]

[Minako was seriously creeped out when she saw some of the monsters imitating her. It was bad enough that she had to stare into the faces of some seriously ugly monsters during night patrol, but to need to stare at her own deformed face knowing she had to stab it to kill it? Even more disturbing.

Thinking of Minami had only worsened her paranoia.

So she sets to hacking away at all the imps she can find, blinking when she hears someone up ahead. Maybe someone else on the night patrol? Or someone just training?]

Hello?

[Minako watches from a safe distance when she sees the tiger annihilating everything in its path. She's pretty sure tigers-- white ones at that, aren't those rare?-- aren't enemies that spawn in the hallways...so the only other logical reasoning is that it's been brought here to the tower too.

Why would the Tower bring a white tiger here though?

When it stops to groom herself, she knew it was high time to get away.]

Um. Good kitty...I'll...just be going now.

[hachitaro]

[The tiger turns to look at her, and grins. There's a very human-sounding laugh as well, and suddenly there's a guy who looks about her age in front of her, laughing.]

Nah. Not a cat. Usually, at least.

Oh oh Minako does! OuO)/ She'll be the best prince everrrrr

[She blinks when she sees him, shuffling over and poking him with the staff end of her naginata. She pokes him several more times with increasing strength until she determines that he's not just being a hobo in the hallway, he's actually been affected with deep dreams like some other people have.]

Don't tell me I'm going to have to lug you all the way back to your room...

[Obviously he's not going to answer, so she resigns herself to the fact and hefts him onto her back. It's very awkward going, considering she has to bring along her naginata...but she slowly makes her way to the end of the hallway.

Hopefully the monsters she just killed off wouldn't respawn that quickly.]

[ Lucy stays out of the way and just listens, enjoying the song. If there's one thing she can appreciate, it's a pretty song. ]

[complementing]

Whoa! [She jumps back a little in surprise before smiling sheepishly.] Sorry, I didn't even realize.

[And then she perks up.] Wait, you can change into a tiger? That's so cool!

[hachitaro]

That's usually the point of an illusion, isn't it?

[And suddenly Minako will be looking at herself, and hearing herself too.]

I can change into more than that.

[complementing]

[When she finishes this song she turns back to her with a smile.]

Do you have any requests?

[complementing]

Oh, so it's an illusion... [She does a double-take when she's staring at herself, and she shakes her head, turning away.

Minami.]

Um, sorry to sound rude when we've just met, but please...anything but that.

[hachitaro]

[He drops the illusion instantly, going back to his usual human illusion.]

... Sorry. I didn't mean to upset you.

[He's not entirely sure what he did wrong, but he doesn't want to make her upset...]
