Summary: Newbie having something like a quiet mental breakdown in the library. Approach him during any part of his information gathering.
Warnings: None.

[As soon as Tim had arrived in the tower, he was determined to find out why he was brought here. Sorry, but he's not buying anything about his world being destroyed. He's helped save it far too many times to accept that.

So, the only logical place to go (besides interrogating various workers and other kidnapped people) is the library. Unfortunately, there was no section on the history of this place or even other worlds, so now Tim is striding quickly through the aisles of bookshelves, pulling books down at random to hold in his arms. That's not all of them, though -- just outside one of the aisles is a group of stacked books, unnecessarily high, where Tim is dumping them all.

Eventually, he sits cross-legged in the middle of all the stacks and starts to flip through the books at speed, skimming them for information. He doesn't particularly care if he looks odd; it seems like a good portion of the people here are just as curious about this place as he is.

As he reaches the end of a rather thick encyclopedia, he discards it a bit roughly and groans to himself.]

Oh, come on, there has to be something useful hidden in one of these books.

They're boring. I don't really like to read them even if I like stories.

[He moves a stray book over to make room for her.]

There are a lot of boring books out there, but there's always a few that are really interesting. Statistically speaking.

Well I haven't found any yet! But Romeo tells me stories some times.

Are they good stories?

Yeah! With superheroes and dragons! I like those kind of stories.

Superheroes, huh? You're a fan?

No! Well yes! I am a fan but I'm also a superhero and so are my friends!

[Tim has to raise an eyebrow at that. He can count the number of superheroes that young on one hand.] Aren't you a little young to be risking your life?

[Yeah, that's the opposite of what she wanted to here. How come no one was ever oh Molly that's so awesome or you're so brave Molly or I bet you're the best superhero in all of L.A. Molly]

[except not as condescending as that] No! I'm not! When the bad guys are older people and other older people follow them then it helps to be young but I'm not too young! I'm an amazing superhero and I can't get hurt!

[Tim is torn between giving her advice and wondering if she's just making this up.] So what are your powers? Besides invulnerability, it sounds like.

I'm invulnerable and have super strength! One time a bad guy tried to hit me with a shovel and WHAM he hit it right over my head and the shovel broke into lotsa pieces! And another time I lifted a van and once I stopped a tractor trailer with my foot because he was gonna hit some baby chicks that were crossing the street!

[she's telling the truth]

You know, superheroes aren't supposed to tell strangers that they're superheroes. It ruins the point of a secret identity.

Well now the people here know that if they do anything bad that I will be there to stop them!

Right. [He understands the idea. It's how Batman operates.] Do you have a hero name?

Actually, I don't even know your real name yet. And you're telling me you're a superhero.

My name is Princess Powerful! But my friends call me Bruiser [she wrinkles her nose] but you can call me Molly when I'm not in my outfit! Molly Hayes!

[daughter of two mutants who were part of an evil organization called The Pride who were trying to destroy the world in order to make a better place for their kids to live. yup.]

That's a lot of names. [He smiles at her.] I'm Tim. It's nice to meet you.

I have a lot of names to keep my identity safe! Tim isn't a lot of names.

It doesn't help if you give them all out at once. Maybe one day I'll tell you all my names.

How many names do you have? [she thinks for a moment] Tim, Timmy, Thomas, is that part of Tim too?

Thomas turns into Tommy. I have a lot of names, but I usually only use two.

Tim and what else?

The other one is a secret.

I'm good at keeping secrets!

I'll tell you one day.

Is it one day yet?
