Characters: Lezard Valeth, Platina and Lenneth Valkyrie.
Setting: Music Room (28th floor) at nightfall.
Format: Prose for the opening, then action.
Summary: Lezard wants to make sure Platina has a great opinion of him. Hence he sends a bunch monsters on her way... Only to kill them and save her so as to appear like a hero. Only problem being that the Valkyrie passes by nearly at the same moment.
Warning: Lezard Valeth. Hungry Uruk-hai. A bit of violence during the battle. Creepy stalking. Amongst other things...
The music floor was certainly a wonder- So many instruments all around, a dream for all those who enjoy music. It was one of the rare floor in the tower relatively safe, where people could enjoy some free time without being worried about whatever schemes was going on in the tower, be it from the administrator or from one of the bad guys. They could play music with their friends, they could play music alone, they could listen to music, or they simply could do nothing. Or yet again, just pass by while on their way to the dorm- Especially when night's falling.
Unfortunately for Platina, no matter what her reason for passing by this floor was, Lezard has decided this wouldn't be the peaceful room it was meant to be. Instead the doors would close on themselves once she'd step in, preventing her from escaping and a group of monsters would magically appear in the room. Even worse for the poor silver-haired girl, those would be... Uruk-hai. And they're not the kind to speak.
What did Uruk-hai usually do? They killed people of course. ... And eventually ate what remained of them after if they were particularly hungry. Hopefully in Platina's case they wouldn't be hungry. Either way, the girl better knew how to fight... Since Lezard doesn't plan on stepping in immediately.

She can't even scream for help - the most she can do is exhale loudly in fear.
As much as she tries to get to the staircase, it isn't working...She looks around desperately, back and forth, trying to find an opening.]

That's when they're one inch only away from her, about to strike and kill the poor girl, that the wizard cast a spell. A spell powerful enough that it may blind her for a few seconds or so. All she'll hear during those seconds are the screams of the Uruk-hai and the sound of their bodies falling.
When the light fades, the Uruk-hai are all dead. And apparently they suffered a lot if only judging by the blood. Not so far behind them is the man who cast the spell- He doesn't look tired at all by the effort, but he looks at the girl with a neutral face. ]
.... Are you alright?

And then there's a stranger asking her if she's all right. She looks at him, tears in her eyes...though whether they're over the horrible sight, out of relief, or simply because of that terrifying light, she can't say.
Literally.
...She manages a shaky nod as she gets back to her feet, though.]

Was that Platina? Surrounded by blood and bodies? The goddess stopped in her tracks, hand moving to her weapon and stepping inside. Her expression hardened at the sight of the man in the room, moving quickly to Platina's side.]
Platina. You are unhurt?
no subject
Worry not. I am...
[ Who dares disturb his superb introduction? Oh, that is the only person allowed to do so, of course. He smiles widely and readjust his glasses. ]
Welcome, my dear Lenneth Valkyrie.
[ Yep sorry to break the news in, but out of all people that could have been in the tower, that's the necromancer. Hey at least his current clothes look more regal than those she last saw on him. ]
Like you may have seen, this young woman was in quite a predicament.

If you are involved, Necromancer, I have no doubt you were involved in this predicament. If you even harmed one hair on her head!
[Imagine her Nibelung Valesti but on a higher, All-Mother type scale.]

Your allegations hurt me my beloved. Last time we met, I saved your life didn't I? Our homeworld actually owes its survival to me, I expected some more gratitude.
I merely happened to pass by and saved this young woman.
[ He smiles to them both and looks at Platina. ]
She does look strikingly like you, doesn't she? May you tell us your name.
no subject
...
Buddy...She can't. Nonetheless, she sets about writing in her notebook.
She then holds it up to show Lezard:]
My name is Platina. It is nice to meet you, sir. Thank you for your assistance earlier.
no subject
Which she would do later on.]
Our similarity is none of your business, mage.
[You don't deserve a name, Lezard.]
I would trust your word regarding this just as much as Mystina trusts you.
[Her focus shifts to Platina, expression softening considerably. Since she, you know, doesn't hate Platina. She actually likes her whereas Lezard could fall off the top of his tower to his doom and no Valkyrie would ever collect him.]
Did he lay a hand on you?
no subject
[ He smiles and bows to her- Before turning to Lenneth. How rude. ]
Do you treat everyone like this Valkyrie? Surely you did not forget my contribution. I am not the one you met before. certainly I have not reformed, but in this tower I have no intent on fighting you.
You can remain assured I didn't harm her.
[ He smiles again to Platina. Why would he ever harm her, he asks? ]
no subject
I was not injured, Lady Valkyrie.
[She's...not sure how to reply to the strange man's comment (compliment?) so she just hugs the book to herself in a childish way and looks out at him, half-curious and half-wary.]
no subject
Good. [She smiles to Platina, glad for the hasty reply but that wouldn't keep her hostility towards Lezard at bay.]
I treat you as you deserve to be treated, soul defiler. If you think that saving mine or Platina's life will excuse you for the countless lives you ended, then you are sorely mistaken.
no subject
How many lives did you yourself take, Lady Valkyrie? Because you took them in the name of Odin doesn't make your actions any more righteous than mine.
Yet, you moved away from Odin and found ways to excuse yourself. How is my case any different?
no subject
She looks back and forth between the Lady Valkyrie and the stranger. What's...going on? It isn't her place to speak up (or write up as the case may be,) but what he's saying is -- if it weren't for the Valkyrie, Asaka would have remained dead and that accursed undead in the house might have gotten her too.
....She's confused, so she just moves to get slightly behind Lenneth. She knows the Valkyrie is safe, and right now, that's important.]
no subject
I have taken no lives that were not already on the brink of death! Only once did I take someone otherwise and it was by his choice!
[She quickly softens her voice when Platina moves behind her though. It isn't her intention to frighten the girl.]
I did nod commit murders for the sake of a twisted obsession for someone far beyond what you have any right to.
no subject
You've slayed countless creatures, under the pretense they were enemies of Odin. Yet, knowing Odin's true nature, can you say they were truly evil? Can you say you did what is good? ]
I believe the topic of my obsession isn't the correct one my dear, I believe we should rather worry about this young woman. I'm afraid your lack of attention is scaring her.
[ And he's not at all guilty, nope. ]
no subject
Thank you for your concern, but I am not afraid. I am merely confused
[These are all topics she doesn't quite understand, after all!]
no subject
[Suck on that, Lezard. All the repressed hostility she can manage without seeming openly hostile.]
