Characters: Lenneth (
virginwarrior), OPEN
Setting: The meadow (floor 25)
Format: Starting with bracket span, either is fine though
Summary: Lenneth has been here a few days (about a week) and has been on guard thanks to Lezard. So she takes some time to try to relax.
Warnings: None, unless Lezard decides to be a creeper
[The All-Mother was surprisingly fond of plants and gardens. Surprisingly only because, as Platina, she had died in a meadow of Weeping Lilies. And then had her soul ripped to shreds by her sister in that same meadow. Those were only two occasions though and now she couldn't die (easily) and her sister couldn't take this body from her.
So the silver haired goddess was glad to sit in a small patch of grass and run her fingers over it, watching some flowers bloom at her touch. A gods Divine Materialization ability was very handy at times although it wasn't often used for something like this. Typically, it was used to create weapons and armor for that god or the warriors that served them.
Today she sported a plain dress, since her armor seemed to be a bit overwhelming for some. Lenneth did have Levantine strapped around her waist however. And anything else she needed could easily be summoned to her, whether it be her armor or a different weapon.

Lamenting over that very thought, Haldir strolled through the meadow looking a little less proud today. He was lonesome, yes, very lonesome. While Legolas proved to be good company, Haldir couldn't help but pine for his kin. He wondered what sort of mischief Rumil and Orophin could be causing. His younger siblings always did have a penchant for trouble, especially since the duo could be quite impish at times. Lothlorien was a typically safe and uneventful realm, one that was ripe for their jesting. Of course, Haldir would try his best to discipline his younger siblings but rarely did such things work. They were accomplished archers at least, the both of them typically patrolling the woods by Haldir's side. When the Fellowship had first entered their woods, Haldir swore he never saw his brothers so fierce until that day. He could believe that even in his absence that the Golden Woods would be well protected by his siblings.
That is if they still yet live...
Trudging through the meadow with his eyes downcast, Haldir almost missed sight of the regal maiden that sat a few feet away. He stopped in his slow march and simply stared at her. ]
...Another elf?
[ He muttered quietly. ]

Only physically and only half elf.
[The goddesses ears, though rounded, are just as sharp as the elves.]
no subject
By the Valar, you tell no lie...
[ Almost wondering if this goddess was related in anyway to the "Lady of Lórien", Haldir kneels before her with a faint smile on his lips. ]
I cannot say I honestly expected to see someone so radiant within this tower of doom and gloom.

[Bowing, why is there bowing? Lenneth is not used to this since nobody ever bowed to a Valkyrie. And she was just barely adjusting to being Goddess of Creation before coming here.]
You needn't bow to me.
[Quickly touching her hand to his shoulder to encourage him to stand. A smile was on her face, as well as a light blush, but there was also a hint of amusement.]
I've done nothing to warrant such a reaction.

Haldir was confused. He never felt so closer to home until now. Unsure as of what compelled him to kneel before her, the march warden rises to his feet hastily. ]
Who are you?
[ He asked a tad hastily. ]
Are you...one of the Valar?
[ Lenneth certainly looks the part in his opinion. ]
no subject
[She may have an idea of why but since they aren't from the same world, otherwise he'd have recognized her likeness as one of the Battle Maidens, she wouldn't be able to say for certain.]
Valar? I'm afraid that not familiar with that term.

[ He knew of no Ainur who possessed such a name, but this doesn't explain as of why she seemed so similar to one. ]
Is that truly your name? If so, forgive me for being so skeptical. I just never met anyone like you before.
[ Feeling quite embarrassed with himself, Haldir glances away in order to hide his slightly flushed face. ]
The Valar are the Powers of Arda who live upon the Western continent of Aman. They were once known as "The Fourteen Ainur" who entered Arda after its creation to give order to the world.
[ He let's out a soft sigh as he shyly glanced at Lenneth again. ]
You...you fit their divine image almost seamlessly.

[Lenneth laughs very softly, almost a giggle really.]
Ah, they are divine beings then. Gods?
I once acted as Chooser of the Slain, a goddess who gathered the souls of fallen warriors so that they may fight for the gods.

There's a great power lurking within this girl, a power that demands his respect. ]
Therefore, you are a "goddess" of some kind. I suspected as much but I never intended to be so rude about it.
no subject
[Except she kind of was by wearing a plain dress rather than her armor. Although, she could have easily suppressed her divine aura if she had so wished.]
I am a goddess though, yes. I am the Goddess of Creation in the world that I hail from.

[ Almost wondering if this woman shared heritage the Maia of legends old, Haldir finds himself staring at Lenneth again in pure amazement. How could someone so young be the Goddess of Creation? Of course he could sense she possessed a very old and ancient soul, but still--]
It shames me to know that even "goddess" aren't immune to the evil that lurks here.
[ With that said, Haldir lowers his gaze and sighs. ]
You shouldn't be trapped in such a glided cage.

There are worse fates to suffer through. If I find a way to return home, I'm sure that I will find a way to restore Yggdrasil. I did once before.
And I've gladly got the company of Aelia and Platina.
[And Lezard but she's not happy about that.]
no subject
[ He couldn't help but arch his brow once the Goddess stated the names of her friends. ]
Is it safe for me to assume that they are "Goddesses" as well?
no subject
[Well, it was more complicated to explain Platina.]
She is who I used to be, a young human woman who houses the soul of another me. I never awoke where she came from, my sister awoke in my place.

[ If his eyes weren't as wide as saucers before, then they certainly are now. He stares at Lenneth in disbelief, almost wondering why the Goddess has two souls instead of one. While he truly wished to pry more regarding the Valkyrie's past, Haldir knew better than to do so.
Out of respect, the elf will rein in his curiosity for once. ]
They both sound as if their value lies beyond than just the service they give you, my lady.
no subject
[She would have a hard time explaining it, because she's not from a point where she could explain differences in time or reality.]
I care about them, they're my friends. And I feel like I need to protect Platina, since she cannot speak.
no subject
[ A look of surprise settled in Haldir's gaze. ]
I have heard that many mortals are born with such imperfections but it's still quite a shame that she cannot speak.

And then she had seen the Valkyrie, Lenneth. Immediately, her eyes had widened, and a large smile stretched across her face.]
Oh thank the gods, someone I know!
no subject
Aelia! I thought I might never see any of my einherjar again.
no subject
Speaking of which...did she actually squeal?]
Never expected to hear you make that sound! [She laughed.] At least you are here. That's good for now...
no subject
I'm glad to see a familiar face, particularly one that I can trust.
[She had to warn Aelia about Lezard, there was no question about it.]
He is here. The necromancer.
[Not saying his name because gods know if he'd hear her or something. Freaky little bastard that he was.]
no subject
Lezard...Of all the people, why him?
no subject
[If there was even something to rescue them from. For the love of the gods, Lenneth and her companions just saved the realms from Ragnarok.]
There is also something else I should inform you of...
[Lenneth's roommate needed to be brought up so Aelia wouldn't mistake them for each other.]
There is a young woman here who looks like me.
no subject
[And as much as Aelia hated to admit it, Lezard was useful. But if the tower could think of him to be used as a tool...yeah, same thing went for Valkyrie. Really, she didn't want to think much about Lezard at all.]
A clone or something Lezard made?
[Only conclusion she could make at the moment. Either that or another Valkyrie, but a name would be given were that the case.]
no subject
[She was still worried about the issue that had come up regarding Platina and the monsters in the music room.]
No, she's completely human. Her name is Platina and she's encountered my sister.
no subject
[She tilts her head, now just growing confused. So the other girl was Platina, yet Lenneth was still here and....confusion was only growing worse.]
no subject
[Just think of how Lenneth felt, sharing a room with Platina. And worrying over her as though she were a younger, but human, sister.]
I can't explain how it is possible. Where she is from, I never awoke, Hrist did in my place.
no subject
[The life she led must not have been a pleasant one from what Aelia could gather.]
no subject
no subject
But we just have to keep her safe, right? Simple enough. [As long as Aelia didn't get lost here, again.]
no subject
It should not be difficult, she's quite intelligent considering her upbringing.
