[Akihiko's initiation and introduction to the tower has been quite hectic. Who'd have thought he'd find himself in a strange tower like this, let alone one being destroyed by a giant whale and the monsters inside of it? The collar weirds him out too. It won't come off, and has strange tubes of liquid all around.

He's been running around like a nut, so sitting down to a good solid meal sounds right up his alley. The cafeteria is still in working order, and the smell of everyone's food has him salivating. But upon receiving his meal, he's left with disappointment.

A single bowl of oatmeal.

Well, oatmeal is full of protein, so he decides to give it a sample. Upon putting a small bite in his mouth, his face twists in horror in reaction to the taste and texture. He doesn't remember oatmeal being this disgusting before.]

Hey, I'm really not hungry for breakfast. You got anything else back there?

[Nope. He's stuck with it.

He carries the bowl to one of the tables and stares at it, poking and prodding the lumpy substance with his spoon. All of a sudden, his appetite is dead. Did they run out of everything else? But it smells like it's still being prepared. Maybe if he waits, he can obtain some.

Too bad he'll be waiting a long time.]

You were here during the whole whale fiasco? Hmmm, okay, I'll accept that as an excuse as to why you didn't contact me earlier. [She pulls away and grins.] Did Shinji fill you in on what's going on here?

He told me a little about the alternate worlds and times thing, and that they experiment on us. The monsters too.

Great, you're all caught up then. [A pause.] What did you remember last?

[He remembers...oh boy, does he remember. Ryoji and Junpei's hair-brained idea to spy on the girls' in the hot spring bath...he swallows nervously.]

We'd gone to bed after the last day of our school trip.

[Yeah, that works.]

[complementing]

[She grins, giving him a knowing look. Right, so after Mitsuru's executions.]

I see~

[All the way back from November, huh...she smiles a little nostalgically.]

That hot springs trip seems so long ago now.

[He's surprised he survived that one.]

Yeah...I'm from March of 2010.

Ah. Shinji's from March too.

Are you alright?

[No crazy rescues or monster battles?]

[She nods, giving him a small smile. If she's lucky she'll never have to tell him what happens in January.

...she casually knocks on the wood of the table just in case.]

Of course~ You know me. I can take anything that comes my way.

I hope so. Don't push yourself too hard.

[He still can't help but worry about her.]

I know, I'll be fine. [She nudges him.] Now eat your oatmeal or I'll have Shinji come down here and make you eat it. It's actually really important.

[He laughs, but looks at the oatmeal with question. It's not pleasant at all. Too much sugar, or something. It's as if it's trying to cover something up.]

They don't have an alternate choice, do they? [He grins a little.]

Nope, not until you eat this goop. Just think of it as protein, because I'm pretty sure that's what it tasted like when I ate it.

That's a good idea.

[But he likes protein powder! That or he's so used to it doesn't have a flavor anymore.]

Of course you would think so. [She smirks and then waves a hand.] Go on then, eat up. We can go look for Shinji after you're done.
