[Akihiko's initiation and introduction to the tower has been quite hectic. Who'd have thought he'd find himself in a strange tower like this, let alone one being destroyed by a giant whale and the monsters inside of it? The collar weirds him out too. It won't come off, and has strange tubes of liquid all around.

He's been running around like a nut, so sitting down to a good solid meal sounds right up his alley. The cafeteria is still in working order, and the smell of everyone's food has him salivating. But upon receiving his meal, he's left with disappointment.

A single bowl of oatmeal.

Well, oatmeal is full of protein, so he decides to give it a sample. Upon putting a small bite in his mouth, his face twists in horror in reaction to the taste and texture. He doesn't remember oatmeal being this disgusting before.]

Hey, I'm really not hungry for breakfast. You got anything else back there?

[Nope. He's stuck with it.

He carries the bowl to one of the tables and stares at it, poking and prodding the lumpy substance with his spoon. All of a sudden, his appetite is dead. Did they run out of everything else? But it smells like it's still being prepared. Maybe if he waits, he can obtain some.

Too bad he'll be waiting a long time.]

[Much nicer than the other Minato. He looks back down at the oatmeal. Did it just bubble? He was pretty sure it bubbled.]

[It's probably your imagination, Aki. Probably.

Minato glance down at the oatmeal.] ...You should eat it.

[He wonders if this is just some weird initiation or if there is something about the dish that makes it necessary to ingest. The oatmeal he's had back home is much more appetizing, with blueberries and nuts mixed into it.]

That's what everyone's saying. Did you have to eat it too?

[In a way, the oatmeal is the initiation.]

That's right. I wasn't allowed to eat other things until I finished my oatmeal at the time.

[Well, if Minato ate it, there's no excuse why he can't. He shovels a large mound of oats and cream into his mouth.]

[He'll be here, keeping Aki company. Unless...] When you're done, what do you want to eat?

[Minato might get something from the cafeteria.]

I could go for some ramen.

[A beef bowl from Umiushi if we're wishful thinking.]

I can go and order some for you.

[That's stretching it. Just whatever regular ramen they serve here, senpai.]

[He can do it, unless there's some special means of asking for it.]

[Nah, there's no special means of ordering stuff. Unless you're hoping to eat in the restaurant.]

[He's forcing those last few gobs into his mouth...oh god...there might be a tear in his eye from the unsettling texture and amount.]
