Characters: Nero and YOU
Setting: All over the tower
Format: Actionspam I suppose
Summary: Sometime after his arrival, and he's still not that happy about it.
Warnings: Nero being Nero, he'll pick a fight if provoked.



[Of course he has to do a little exploring after arriving here, it's only natural after all. He's still confused about this whole situation, but he's not one to really freak out about such a thing. No- he'll just keep his cool (for now) and explore what he can.

Nero can be found:

A: floor one, looking at the cafeteria and inspecting the food.

B: floor three, checking out the books at the library. Last time he was at such a place he was attacked by possessed armor, forgive him if he's a little wary.

C: floor four, a lounge huh? Well, Nero was never one to sit still- so this might not be his thing. But it's one of the stops on his journey.

D: Nero is headed towards one of the floors which contain monsters and the like. Stop him, join him, encourage him to keep going? Whatever your heart desires.]

[Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, you've lost her, man. She startles a bit, staring.]

A party?

[Clearly, she hasn't ever thought of that before...]

[But she pauses, eyes glazing over a little. Then she snapped out of it, shaking her head and blinking.]

No, sorry. I do know what you mean.

[She offers a shrug and a wry smile.]

It just wouldn't have occurred to me, to throw a party. It's not something I have personal experience with.

[slamdunk]

Well first off, you need to have good music.

[he's not exactly a party person either. Parties = a lot of people around and he doesn't like that but.... he's just messing around here, really.]

[Eleanor blinks, head tilting to the side.]

Uh. What would you term good music?

[Because she doesn't have a personal taste. Just the memory of several hundred personal tastes.]

[It's a good thing Nero is wearing those headphones around his neck. He goes over to her, taking them off and just holding one of the ear pieces close to her head. Of course, his music is loud enough that she can hear it from here.

...but really, even his music isn't party material.]

[Child of magical 60's meets awesome. Eleanor blinks at the offer, carefully putting it to her ear. The first strings startle the crap out of her, though, making her jump a little, as well as making the hand not holding the earpiece flare half-heartedly, turning charred somewhat, before she relaxes a little. She blinks as she listens to more of it, realizing something, after a moment.]

...I don't think I've ever heard anything like it before in my life. I don't think anyone else here has ever heard anything like it before.

[If the lyrics hadn't been interesting on their own, that in and of itself made her partial to it. It meant it'd be a memory exclusively her own. Have a small smile.]

Is this what music's like, where you're from? I like it.

[He takes his music back, putting his headphones back around his neck. At her words he just shrugs a bit.]

Eh... yeah, kinda. It's just some of the music, it's the stuff I like. The others where I'm from they like uh.... more classical stuff.

[He liked to hear Kyrie's singing a lot, but that was about it from the classical music.]

Hmm. Classical music seems a lot more fun to perform, than to listen to.

[But she doesn't sound so sure, since that's just someone else's memory, not hers. She shrugs a little.]

Your music sounds like it'd be fun to listen to, during a fight.

[slamdunk]

[he smirks a little at that.]

Yeah, it seriously pumps me up.

That device you have there, that must be very convenient for that.

[Music player, what's a music player?]

Yeah it is.

You don't have these where you're from or somethin'?

[thebigsister]

Not really. You can have audiodiaries, I guess. But it's not the same.

[She shrugs at that.]

Our technology was apparently head of its time in some areas, and very... arcane in others. But then, that's bound to happen when you isolate yourself from the world.

[slamdunk]

[....that sounds like his world.]

Isolate yourself? That sounds similar to where I'm from. Except, a lot of the people were just kept in the dark about certain stuff.

[A little dry.]

When you're on the bottom of the ocean, you tend to be the one in the dark, though the surface couldn't care less about you.

[...he shifts his weight from one leg to the other.]

There's a lot of people out there that couldn't care less.

Finding the ones that do care is pretty difficult.

True. But there are people who care, at least. Just because it's hard doesn't mean it's hopeless.

[he nods....

...okay he doesn't like this conversation.]

Alright uh... I'm feelin' a bit hungry so I'll probably go to the cafeteria.

Have they told you about the oatmeal?

Yeah, I heard. Sadly.

Haven't tried it yet though.

It's not so bad, you just need to eat it once.

[She offers a wry smile.]

You should be fine, otherwise.

Cheh.... yeah we'll see.

Eh, if worse comes to worst, just set it on fire.

[A shrug.]

That usually works well for me.
