First Strike

Characters: Sakura Oogami and YOU
Setting: Room 2-03, Floor 15, Cafeteria
Format: Action brackets, will match if preferred.
Summary: One of the new kids investigating.
Warnings: No spoilers in the entry itself, but some for up to chapter four are likely to crop up in threads.

[There's no known force in the universe that can get Sakura to break her morning routine… But for the sake of suddenly being equipped with roommates, she will save the more involved exercises and the kiai for later in the day. She's currently going through a series of basic leg stretches on the floor.]

[Even after a few days have gone by, there's still plenty of tower left to explore. Sakura is in the process of doing this. The workshop is a floor particularly worthy of intense investigation - if she's to recreate her favorite workout method, this would be the place, would it not? There's a wide variety of regular hammers, that's a good start…

And over by that work bench, at last, a sturdy sledgehammer! It's wonderful to have one in her hands again. Her hands practically itch with the desire to start swinging it this instant… but that would be unsafe, particularly after being so out of practice. Would they have tires here? In any case, there's a sinister-looking person prowling around the floor, clutching a large hammer and muttering softly to herself.]

…Something to hit. I need something to hit…

[After an enlightening and thankfully non-fatal jaunt through several floors of tower, Sakura is relaxing over a leisurely cup of tea. She looks about as friendly and approachable as it is possible for her to ever look.]

Oh, okay. [This seems reasonable enough to America, and he carefully rights the machine, first lifting it up and then squirming under it so he can push it back up.]

I accidentally knocked it over. I didn't mean to! [He says this automatically--he is pretty used to having to explain knocked over and broken things.]

Not any heavier than a buffalo. [America has no other way to measure these things. He examines the machine, but he's never seen these sorts of things outside of the tower.] Is it broken? I'll get in trouble if I broke it.

Maybe if we turn it on. [Not that he has any idea how to do that.]

Does is have a wire with the metal things at the end?
