Summary: So Mami got killed recently, thanks to those ghoul powder shenanigans. She's trying to cope by...doing what she does best, which is farming.

It was a terrible request to make of Ryong - no, Fou-Lu, the First Emperor - but it had to be made. She couldn't continue living as that...unholy thing she'd been transformed into, and honestly she hadn't expected to return, not after that.

Finding that she had returned though...Well. In a way, it was like waking up at the end of a storm: the world was quiet - too quiet, even - and nothing was the same. Everything had been washed away.

...just like what had happened before, with that thing in the Tower.

Maybe it's to seek out some kind of normalcy, but Mami finds herself back on the farmland floor, doing what she can do - digging into the dirt, planting seeds, looking after them. It's something she can focus on, something real - and right now, that means everything.]

[America liked the farmland. It was one of the floors that reminded him of home, even if at home no farm was a floating island, not even when England tried to do work with his magic and made all the plants sprout sideways and the tools turn colors and start talking.

He's taking the packets of seeds he found in his trunk when he got it back out to plant when he comes across someone else there. He hesitates, shyly, before deciding to approach.]

What're you planting?

[She looks up at the...well, it looks like there's a tiny on the farm. Huh! She smiles happily at him, and nods.] Aye, Ah'm plantin' some crops. Wha' with things gettin' so wrecked earlier, Ah figured Ah'd best get t' work.

As far as I know, death is simply a step before reincarnation. Unfortunately this tower takes it very literally and brings us back with one day.
