(no subject)

Characters: Tsukasa, Natsumi, and your name here.
Setting: Yonder Cafeteria
Format: Action? Prose? Surprise us.
Summary: Two world-hoppers annoying each other and also anyone else.
Warnings: Stupidity

The Hikari Photo Studio was always with them, no exception. It had been tucked into every world they had visited before, even managing to squeeze into a train car without effort. So it really wasn't all that surprising that just as soon as they had met up again in the halls, Tsukasa and Natsumi had begun storming the doors and floors in search of that familiar space.

By the time they made it to the cafeteria, the two had passed from a worried anxiety to an outright grouchiness. Leave it to the grumpier looking one to speak up.

"Tsukasa-kun, just what's going on this time? You've never managed to lose the entire studio before, so where is it?"

"Saa..." One hand strayed up to his neck to tap the collar, "It's clear this is your fault, somehow. So don't turn the blame to me." The new encumbrance wasn't his style at all.

He's shown no signs of unease, aside from a more-put-out-than-usual expression. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, then put his hands to his camera, looking down into the viewfinder. As good a time as any, he supposed. Would everything still run away here?

"Well, you're halfway done. Did you read the note?" His questions are bland as ever, and he looks up from the camera to eye her as she walks away. He holds still for a moment longer to snap a picture, then, of her perturbed expression.

"Evidence. Enraged young woman attacks innocent photographer," he muses, taking it all casually as he can. "You really should be looking for other Riders, too. Maybe that's where they are."

"Hm." He just grunts at her comment, choosing not to reply. They hadn't really had a chance to discuss things, aside from canvassing the tower immediately. Perhaps that was what bothered them both? Tsukasa couldn't tell. Really, it wasn't going to have a weight either way if it did.

"We should eat. You get irritable when you go without meals," His face fixes on her, and the tone is teasing. Avoidant? Avoidant! He wouldn't give up on making this place work for him like the rest, though.

"I doubt nutritionists wear all white," he commented idly, then tapped his fingers on his hip. He didn't like staying in one place all too long, and this place was vast, so they might have missed something. He figured he could take his time with this, though. Wasn't really much else he could do than 'when in Rome' until he figured things out.

Tsukasa shrugged, mostly to himself. It's a real quandry--but he's used to making things work. Right? Anyway, his attitude changing would probably alarm her more than help, so he figured it's easy enough playing it like usual.

The rider turned, crossing his arms just so. "It's a big tower." That was the best he could do. Maybe the studio was there. Maybe it wasn't. If it wasn't, maybe it'd show up eventually. There were a whole lot of options here.
