02 - Everyone Has A Purpose
Characters: Kanaya and everyone!
Setting: Room 2-07
Format: I'll follow you
Summary: Kanaya offers to make clothes for people
Warnings: None except perhaps pin pricking for particularly squirmy people.
[When Kanaya's chest was restored she didn't find the sets of clothing she had originally arrived with. Instead she found several bolts of fabric in various colors and sewing supplies. Rather than despairing she turns it into an opportunity to be useful. She had been feeling lost without a purpose in the tower. She makes a makeshift sign that reads in neatly lettered green: "Clothes Made For Those Who Need Them". Underneath this is a lengthy green smudge as if she had elaborated on the statement then realized that an overly long sign would defeat the purpose of advertising to passersby. After hanging the sign, she sits down on her bed to wait.]

[She doesn't let on if she's aware of his double meaning but the metaphor works for a variety of circumstances.
At his next statement she looks up at him, questioningly, and not entirely certain what to say.]
Thank you. It is...nice to have a friend here as compassionate as yourself.

[He shrugs again, looking down and focusing on his stitches.]
I'm not a very good friend, though. Not really compassionate, either. Just... pointing out the obvious, I think.
