the first storm
Characters: [01] The Fierce Deity and his roommates ; [02] the Fierce Deity and YOU
Setting: [01] Room 2-12 ; [02] throughout the Tower
Format: I'll start with prose, but I'll match you in comments
Summary: [01] The Fierce Deity arrives. [02] Time to explore and find out what the hell.
Warnings: n/a thus far. (Please fill out this permission post!)

[ room 02-12 ]
Your world has been destroyed. I saved you. Let's all be happy here.
... No.
He crumples the piece of paper in his hand, eyes narrowed. The world has not ended. Termina is not dead. He knows that she called down the moon (to spite him), but the world was in limbo. He remembers. The world was waiting. The world is not dead.
He looks down at his fist. Flesh and bone... Mm. How? It is his own form; he is not borrowing another's, or visa versa. There is not second mind whispering beside his.
I saved you.
He scoffs, and stands. He eyes the trunks at the foot of the beds, then approaches his own. When he opens it and surveys what is within, he is... satisfied. His armor. His instrument. Much more acceptable than the white jumpsuit he has awoken in. He promptly re-dresses. The instrument remains in the trunk.
Let's all be happy here.
... That will remain to be seen. He, for one, will not be holding his breath.

[ the tower ]
Bizarre architecture and misshapen monsters. Dangerous floors and safe havens. The place may not be Termina, but to him, it seems that not much about the Tower is different. He cuts down monsters without care whenever they attack. He is not as strong as he would like to be, and deep down, it troubles him.
He deals with this by seeking out the hostile beasts and testing his abilities. Pushing them. Weakness is not something he is used to. It is not something he is willing to accept. There are many monsters here that prove a challenge to him; he does not think for a moment that this is because they are stronger than average. He merely assumes that it is because he is not as skilled as he once was.
When he is not battling, he is exploring. Searching. The basic concepts are not different from Termina, but everything is still new. He must familiarize himself with this new territory. He does not expect to spend much time in this tower, but it would still not do to be ignorant of his new surroundings.
(In truth, he does not know what to do with himself. Being on the move eases his restlessness, if only slightly. Perhaps, he will find information. Answers. Purpose.)

whoop, my icons went out. bear with me for about a week
The Fierce Deity nods, acknowledging his statement. For a moment, it looks like he won't say anything, but then: "It seemed you desired to go for a swim."
A joke?
That's fine!
At the joke, Enoch deflates a little, glancing down at the fog below. Was there water down there, perhaps? It's true fog does gather on water sometimes...but he knows this isn't ordinary fog.
Ah, well, he's only trying to keep his mind off his inadvertent near-suicide right now. That can't last.
"I certainly didn't before this."

The Fierce Deity spares a glance over at the ledge. It doesn't seem interesting. But, judging by the man's reactions... mm. He wishes for his magic. If there is something odd about the ledge, then he would be able to sense it.
(He assumes that there is water at the bottom of the Tower. Without having been told much of anything about Zo's fog, he assumes it's naturally born from a lake around the Tower.)

"This tower has many dangers...some aren't obvious."
no subject
It's the most he's said yet. Though his all-white eyes could be harder to read, there is a slight furrow in his brow.

"Would yours have saved you if you fell?"

It wouldn't be the first time this floor's power nullification would have killed him if he hadn't reacted before stepping off. And the result of that is something he doesn't want to think about but is uncomfortably reminded of anyway. Such a simple, unassuming floor...
LOOK MY ICONS ARE BACK
He has not noticed yet, but if there are such areas, it's possible he didn't need his trained abilities when he passed through. It didn't hurt to ask.
Yay!
Thankfully. Enoch doesn't know what he'd do without what he thinks is most rightfully his. Taking away gifts granted by God and angels is bad enough.
