first hand
Who: Celestia Ludenberg and YOU
Setting: Room 3-09, dormitories, Floor 13
Format: Action, but I'll match you!!
Summary: Celes has a certain thing to get rid of.
Warnings: SPOILERS for Dangan Ronpa up to and including Chapter 3!
[Room 3-09]
[After her sleep paralysis wears off, Celes jolts upward in bed, completely unable to cover the surprise on her face. She'd never expected to wake up again, and she'd come to terms with that, but...here she is.
She spends a few moments staring at her own hands, wide-eyed, before taking a breath and getting out of bed. By the time she looks up, she's already adjusted her expression to something carefully neutral. She's still just as confused on the inside, of course, and even a little scared, but there's no point in sitting around feeling bad for herself or worrying.
Roommates will have to speak to her before she investigates the contents of her chest if they want to at all, because as soon as she finds a certain object inside, she'll stand up suddenly and walk out of the room, ignoring everyone and everything.]
[Dormitories]
[Clutching something in her hand, Celes is obviously looking for something (a trash can, to be specific). She doesn't want to hold on to this...thing any longer than she has to. It's taking every ounce of her self-control not to throw it to the ground and smash it right there, though it's hard to tell at a glance. She's holding it close to her body, so it's difficult to make out what exactly it is, but more observant people will notice it looks like a car headlight.]
[Floor 13]
[Once that's been taken care of, Celes sets out to explore a little bit. It's not any different from what she did at Hope's Peak, right? Maybe she'll find something interesting. She might as well enjoy this chance while she can -
Is what she'd like to think, but she's really only preoccupied about finding a way out. There are a few things she can't explain - like how she's alive, for example - but she highly doubts the world has really been destroyed. It sounds far too much like a bluff, and until it can be proven one way or another what happened, she's going to disregard that information.
She stops on the thirteenth floor. She's actually impressed with the elegance of the room. She's not particularly religious, but the architecture was more or less reminiscent of her own plans. Maybe fewer windows, though...
Celes will be in here for a while, just admiring the layout. It might be easier to wait until she's leaving to try speaking to her, though.]

Dormitories
CelesYasuhiroCeles sets her hackles on edge for obvious reasons, but it's not as if she has a motive any longer.]...So this is your fate as well.
no subject
[She pauses and thinks about what Oogami just said. Fate, huh? If she looks at it like that, then isn't it only natural she'd get a second shot at life? She's had luck programmed into her since she was born...
...And since she took such an enormous risk...maybe this is the payoff.
She says none of this aloud.]
If fate were to go so far as to do this much for me, it could have at least included someone to wait on me. But I suppose I'll take what I can get.

Your philosophy hasn't changed a bit, has it?

The only people who say that are people with no values in the first place. If you aren't willing to hold values until after you're dead, then it's the same thing as not having them.
no subject
...So, you are the type of person who places utmost importance on willpower.
no subject
If you don't have any willpower, how can you achieve your goals? That's all it is, really. Nobody gets anything accomplished by giving up and playing it safe.
no subject
If we had chosen to do just that back in Hope's Peak, neither of us would have perished. The outcome of your actions... had you known it would end in tragedy, would you have altered your course?
1/2
[Well, that's a shock. To know that Oogami of all people was killed...]
2/2
No, I wouldn't. I'd rather have died trying than let myself waste away the rest of my life in a worthless place like that.
[Obviously, she means it.]
no subject
If that is the case, I hope you find this tower more agreeable.
no subject
[This, however, is a lie. She's already got a rather bad impression of this place - that's what happens when you find a piece of the thing that killed you in your trunk.]
no subject
It's larger, certainly. And parts of it are outdoors, which is a welcome change.
no subject
Outdoors, you say?
...Well, if we're going to be trapped somewhere again, it may as well be somewhere with a few luxuries like that.
[Why is she bothering keeping up this facade with someone who's already seen what's lurking underneath? It's the same thing she said about Hope's Peak, and even if she did find this tower a better alternative to the school, just the fact that she's trapped drives her up a wall.
But if she loses her cool now, this early, it's the same thing as admitting defeat on the first day. This lie isn't for her own benefit, or for Sakura's...it's for the unseen enemy that brought her here in the first place.]

This is the skin of a killer, Bella.]Indeed. We have recently been provided with a gymnasium. The training equipment is of exceptionally poor quality, but it is easy enough to find or create substitutes.
[...This isn't particularly relevant to Celes' interests, is it? Sakura can't picture her lifting weights or even jogging around the track.]
no subject
Exercise is for peasants.]That does sound like good news for you. I haven't explored this tower very well yet, but I'm certain there are tables somewhere, so that takes care of things on my end, as well.
[At least they were thoughtful enough to let her keep her cards. :T]
