Summary: Chiaki is taking the news in her own way...

Though she did not know it yet, this wasn’t the first time she had lost her world to the curse of death and darkness. A survivor of the apocalypse not once, but twice. But much like before, she is simply leaning against the wall, hand held to her head. Tears never formed, no matter how great the pain had been. In fact, it seemed like the pain had always existed, and it was just another memory to her. That didn’t mean she wasn’t sad. No, that frown and her eyes were pleading that all of this was some kind of sick and twisted joke. And when she found the one pulling the strings and ended this, she could go back with Isamu and Naoki, plan for college and her future. Signs of that happening however were nowhere to be seen. Finally she looks up, giving a small sigh. Neither tears nor rage dwelled within, unable to even be processed in her anymore. She was numb, yet Chiaki couldn’t help but feel something familiar about all of this…

Fluttershy stepped carefully off the stairs, walking over as she saw a girl sitting there. She wasn't someone she had seen before, which obviously meant she was new and probably upset.

Somewhere, Pinkie Pie must be telling her to cheer up this girl but all Fluttershy managed was to gather her courage enough to speak.

"Oh um...Are you alright?"

Chiaki had expected others being here. And she had already passed by more people on her way over here. Strange in nature, sure, but she had seen far more badly dressed people back at home.

And yet when a pony came towards her, she raised an eyebrow, hiding the inner shock value this was bringing up.

"...I've finally snapped, haven't I?" she muttered, still not exactly believing her eyes.

Fluttershy raised a hoof, then ducked her head and shook it slowly.

"No, No you haven't. I know you must have not seen a talking pony but humans are just as new to me."

She sighed, leaning back against the wall, hand held against her head. Now she wished all of this had been some kind of nightmare, or crack hallucination of something, though the latter would certainly earn the wrath of her folks. Looks like neither was coming true either, and that's what frustrated her the most.

"If you came when I was still a child, you might have received a better welcome," she muttered, closing her eyes. "I suppose this would fare better than meeting whoever did all of this."

Fluttershy crept up closer and tilted her head, "Why could coming when you were a child have helped...I'm sorry, I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

Chiaki shakes her head. "Forget it, it's a childish thing. You have no need to apologize."

Fluttershy tilted her head, "A child is a filly, right? A younger version."

She nods. "In a sense, yes."

"I know I'm probably strange to you. Most humans don't think I can or should talk. Fillies believe in strange things. Is that what you meant?"

"Actually, yes. Creatures like you are...nonexistent and merely fairytales. You can see why I was a bit skeptical earlier before."

And as it dawns upon her that she's still talking to a talking pony...she still wonders if insanity has hit her yet. But that wasn't the case here.

"Well I'd had never heard of humans before...So you have a headstart?"

Fluttershy tried to smile a little, but she felt strange being compared to a fillytale.

"Those are just tales. They can't tell me anything specific regarding someone like you," she explained. "Besides, those were while I was still a child, and I have forgotten most of it aside titles."

"Oh...sorry for assuming then."

Even though Molly has been here for a few months, every once in a while she'd go exploring the tower. She'd look for places she overlooked or people she hasn't met yet. Occasionally she would run into a newcomer, and this girl was definitely a newcomer.

So Molly, being her outgoing self, walks over to her and without greeting says, "You don't gotta be sad you know."

Chiaki glanced at the newcomer to greet her. Figures someone would eventually find her. At least neither Naoki nor Isamu had to see her like this.

"I just need to get it out of my system." Certainly seemed better than keep doing this on a daily basis anyway.

Molly smiles at her, "Then be sad for a few more minutes than be happy, okay? People here a sad a lot and it makes me sad and I don't like to be sad so I try to make people happy!" Spoken with genuine innocence.

Why does she look like she's about to cry?

Happy? Of all the things Chiaki had not wanted to hear, this was one of the few on her list. Her eyes flash with a hint of anger...only to immediately calm down a second later. Her happy nature just had to remind her of a certain friend of hers...

She sighs. "Try it on someone else."

Molly frowns a bit, "I've been making lotsa people happy since I've been here! Maybe you just need a fun hat too?"

Chiaki didn't know what to make of that suggestion, and opted to raise an eyebrow at the girl. "I doubt a hat can solve this type of matter."

"Hats can fix everything," she replies with the most serious of faces, "You just gotta try it."

Chiaki's eye had twitched. This girl was actually serious? Hard to believe...

"...I'm not about to listen to some childish and useless advice," she said, getting back up and brushing her skirt.

Molly pouts again, "It's not childish or useless! They really make people happy!" And just ask the others, they really seemed to have cheered up when she gave them hats.

Chiaki closes her eyes, finding this conversation useless at this rate. "Look, I know of your goal to stop people from being depressed, and I respect that. However, your methods won't work on everyone."
