He stopped a good distance away, not wanting to be hurt if any of the glass fell inwards after he blasted them. Then he drew in a breath, rising up into the air as he gathered his psychic energy.

Twin beams erupted from his eyes and hit the glass...and bounced off.

He yelped and threw up a shield just in time to protect himself and Terezi from being killed by the rebounding lasers.
