Setting: Starting in room 2-06, but you can assume he's wandering the halls anywhere, since he'll go out exploring.
Format: I'll follow your lead.
Summary: Sollux has just arrived (again) and he's confused and Unhappy about it.
Warnings: None yet.

Sollux didn't remember falling asleep, but he definitely remembered waking up. He fought the sleep paralysis for the full thirty seconds, and then shot up from the bed the moment his eyes opened, his teeth bared in a snarl.

He'd been dreaming...something. Something bad. He always woke up badly when he dreamed about his own death, but the specifics were fading like wisps of fog in the morning, and he couldn't be sure if it was a vision or not. The voices were sure loud, though. Fuck were they loud.

He was distracted from the question of the dream, though, as he looked around the unfamiliar room in confusion. "What the actual fuck?"

Everything hurt. Everything hurt and his head was pounding and his vision was blurring and fuck this couldn't be happening this couldn't be happening. It hurt to breathe. It hurt to try to breathe. His rib cage screamed at him with each staggered breath -- each one a little more difficult than the last. Every muscle, every single bone in his body, felt like they had been broken and shattered, ripped and torn to shreds.

Ed braced himself, gritting his teeth and slowly attempting to pull himself up off the ground. For a second he was doing just fine, but then a biting, sharp pain -- more pain that he had felt in a long, long time -- in his stomach made him freeze. His breath caught in his chest. His heart skipped more than a few beats and his eyes went wide as the world starting spinning. He choked and looked down, immediately wishing that he hadn't. A piece of metal, a long beam from some abandoned construction work, ran right through him. He was fucking skewered. ... He was going to die here, wasn't he?

Then he woke up and the pain was gone.

He struggled, fighting against the sleep paralysis as his mind raced -- where was he? Did someone find him in that mind shaft and bring him here? But how? There was no way. That wasn't a dream right? It couldn't have been a dream. He remembered it too well, that pain was real.

Thirty seconds later Ed shot up with a strangled sort of scream. His chest heaved with each breath as he looked around the room. This was definitely not a mineshaft. This wasn't a place he knew and... he wasn't here by himself.

"What the fuck? What... who the hell are you?"

Sollux had no sooner asked his rhetorical question, when the human in the bed next to his shot up with a similar sort of panic to his own. The troll bared a crowded mouthful of sharp teeth and fangs as Ed demanded answers he didn't have.

"What the fuck? That wath my quethtion. Not that I've gotten an anthwer yet," he said, hating his lisp. Why couldn't he at least be able to talk like a normal person, especially when he was meeting someone for the first time?

The kid was blond, but he didn't look like the other blond humans Sollux had seen. Not that he'd paid much attention. Trolling the humans was stupid, as he had told everyone, but it wasn't as though anyone listened to him. He was just tech support in their inane quest to look like complete losers in front of the last members of an alien race.

"Who are you?" he asked, red and blue eyes narrowing behind his glasses. "Are you TG?"

"Hey, I asked you first. You tell me your name and I'll tell you mine. And what the hell is TG?"

Ed's brow furrowed, not at Sollux's lisp, because he didn't care about that. Right now he was trying to figure out what he was. His skin was a weird color, and Ed was pretty sure there were horns on his head and then... those teeth.

"Are you a chimera?"

Sollux took a step towards the human kid. He was in no mood to have much of anything dictated to him. But then he stopped, reconsidering. If his yell and confusion was anything to go by, Ed was as confused as Sollux was, which meant they were sort of in the same boat.

Fuck.

"I'm Thollukth Captor," he said. "Tho now you have my name. TG ith a human I know who lookth like you. What'th a chimera?"

Terezi was wandering the tower, as usual, still doing her best to find out as much as she could about what was happening. She hadn't had much luck so far, and while a challenge was always welcome, there was barely any information to go on here.

She didn't know why their world had nearly the most representatives. Or why they had these stupid collars. Or why the tower didn't seem to follow any sort of sane architectural plan.

But when she caught Sollux's scent, all of those questions were shoved to the back of her mind, because he was okay, and here, and she hadn't realized how much she'd been worrying about him.

"Heyyy, Sollux!"

Sollux had tried without success to break the collar, and had now chosen to ignore its existence, for now. He began wandering the halls looking for answers, and came up short when he heard a familiar voice calling him.

Maybe it wasn't cool, but relieve was pretty obvious on his face when he turned around and saw Terezi, grinning and coming towards him. "TZ? Holy fuck, it'th good to thee a familiar fathe."

Trying to be cool is for losers, anyway. Terezi crosses the distance between them in a few quick strides, coming to a stop in front of him with a little bounce. "If only I could say the same!" She stands on her tiptoes to sniff his neck. "Ohhhh, Sollux, it smells like raspberry fruit punch!"

[ since Castor and Pollux are rooming in 2-02, they're walking down the hall. steps in perfect sync. they're carrying on with conversation. pointless, since it's really one single thought in the end. ]

[Sollux stopped dead, staring at the couple as they walked up the hall towards him. He wasn't really paying attention to what they were saying - which was pretty nonsensical - but he heard the lisp. And saw the horns.

Who the fuck are you?

[Molly is walking down the hallway when she stops and visibly stares at him]

[Karkat had made a point not to leave his room all that often after the shenanigans that had occurred upon his arrival. He was not at all interested in those horrible creatures pretending to be his friends -- let alone having his soul sucked out for his trouble.

But occasionally, a growing troll has to eat -- so have a bluesuited Karkat, complete with vision eightfold and slightly gelled hair walking back down the hallway.]

[Sollux sees Karkat first and is relieved. Terezi is good, but Karkat is one of his best friends, and he hurries down the hall towards him.]

KK!

[Wait. He stops dead, staring. Hadn't Terezi said something about a Karkat with Vriska's blood?

What is with his hair?

He bursts out laughing.]

[Karkat jumps at least two feet backwards when he hear's Sollux' voice, terror plain in both of his eyes. No way, he'd already been fooled by those stupid fucking things once, he wasn't falling for that 'KK!' act again--

And then he starts laughing -- the symbol on his shirt doesn't even register. Karkat just stands there, blinking in uncertainty.]

Human food was gross. Seriously, were they trying to kill him? Wouldn't that be clever, "rescuing" him, then killing him through shitty meals, shortly after. Eridan, after an uninspiring cafeteria meal, was making his way back up to his room, 2-04. He'd gone back to not wearing his cape but he still had his scarf wrapped firmly about his collar. No-one was ever going to get to see that atrocity if he could help it.

He froze with his hand on the handle of his door when he realised Sollux was in the hall. How did he miss him? He couldn't decide, though. Did he want to avoid the freak and avoid, say, possibly getting culled by at least two of the other trolls? Or was that a fucking lame move, did he have a chance if he made a move? No, nooope, he'd killed Fef. No more chances. So fucking stupid.

He opened his door, took a step in, and then reconsidered. Maybe that would've made Sollux hate him more, hate him properly. Fuck, he didn't know what he thought.

Sollux was returning to his room after a long and difficult day. He glanced to one side at the sound of a door opening just down the hall from his own, then froze as he realized that he had just seen Eridan stepping into the room immediately next to his.

He bared his teeth and strode down the hall, putting a hand out to stop the door if it was closing.

"Hey. Printhe."

Pausing, with one hand still to the door, Eridan gave Sollux the very briefest of deer-in-headlights expressions.

After which, naturally, he drew himself together and put on the most dismissive, irritated look he could manage.

"Wwhat. I'm fuckin' wwarnin' you, mage, I don't havve the fuckin' patience to play catch-up wwith you. I wwas goin' into my room for a reason. Go ask someone else to explain if you just arrivved."

"Sollux!"

Hope you weren't planning on being all doom-and-gloom and bad spirits for long, Sollux.

Aradia had spotted him- just barely- as she barreled down an adjacent hallway as fast as her wings would take her, and she backtracked and then made a beeline (hee!) straight for him. She wasn't sure if he'd be able to see her or not though (timeline shenanigans, what are they really?) so she decided shouting a warning would probably help.

She really hoped he wasn't from some horrible alternate reality though. Those were getting hard to keep track of!

He heard the warning and the whirring of wings, and turned to see a red blur barrelling towards him at top speed.

For a second, he backed up and gathered his powers, startled and wary, then his brain made a few connections, and his knees went weak. "AA?" he gasped, even as he thought But she's got wings.

She connected with him as gently as she could, arms around his shoulders, and gave him a squeeze before pulling away to float down to the ground in front of him, her smile broad and bright.

"Hi! I was wondering if you'd show up- everyone else seems to be, and even weird versions of everyone else!"

It takes her a moment to notice his eyes, and then she hesitates a little, realizing Sollux hasn't yet found out about what happened to her- and what's happened to him hasn't happened yet either.

...she's not sure why that makes her happy, but it does. She's never really wanted him to go blind, even if it was meant to happen.

[The voice is familiar, but as Sollux turns he blinks. Woah. Somehow a teal Tavros is more weird than a blue Karkat, though he's not really sure why]
