Summary: Ganondorf didn't wake up in the right body. And now he's gonna pretend he is Reno [OU] for the duration of the event! How wonderful is this? His impersonation of Reno will be… More or less good, depending. Feel free to bother him!

Room 02-09 (Closed)
[ The first thing Ganondorf feels upon waking up is… Discomfort, unease of some sort? Something unnatural and twisted. As if before going to bed he had put his body in the locker and changed it for another one. Pretty much like how people change suits. Which of course he didn't. Technically, he could have possessed someone's body, but he would remember doing that. And it would honestly be the first time he'd possess someone on accident.

But then he realizes that there is… something wrong, something very wrong here, worse than what he felt upon waking up. His body doesn't feel nearly as massive and muscular as it usually does. The absolute lack of clothes doesn't help at all. What the hell tower? Upon closer inspection, he realizes his skin has changed color- Wait this reminds him of someone…

In fact upon closer inspecting, he then realizes there is a woman sleeping next to him. Equally lacking in the clothes department. Goddesses… Reno, no wonder you're such a flake. No wonder your reports all suck and are worthless. Maybe he's not a traitor after, maybe he's just an utter and complete idiot. Well, at least he'll have the occasion to confirm his doubts, once he'll be sure this is Reno's body.

Ganondorf is supposed to be a super-powerful being whose powers can one-hit kill most normal people. Unfortunately, when he tries to focus energy to kill that woman, nothing happens. Because yes, woman sleeping next to him just like that? Not allowed to live. Wait, not working? Now don't tell him his powers are gone as well? Jason, what in the world is that? You're not happy enough with modifying people's body and forcing them to copulate with strangers, but you take their powers as well? Sick man.

And lo, Elena gets pushed off the bed gracelessly by "Reno" as he sits and makes the weirdest faces. Probably not the wakeup call she expected.]

Lounge (Floor 38 – Open)
[ One of Reno's most common location in the tower is without a doubt the lounge. His little bar was even set up there. And so of course, you will find "Reno" there.

He settles down on one of the beanbag chairs and relaxes. This is both good in order to impersonate the real Reno and in order for Ganondorf to consider the situation and think. Think a lot. He is pretty much set on exploiting the situation to spy on Reno's friends and his little habits… And decide what would happen next week during the evil meeting.

So you'll find "Reno' there, relaxing on one of these chairs. ]

Forest island (Floor 32 – Open)
[ Next you will find "Reno" wandering the Forest Island on the 32nd Floor. The real Reno sometimes comes here to take some decent food, and with Jason providing food for the tower this month? It was to be expected that Reno would be here…

And lo, you shall see "Reno" here with a bag, taking whatever looks eatable and not poisoned. Because it would be a shame to get poisoned now after all. ]

Meadow (Floor 25 – Open)
[ Well well. Another one of Reno's most common location in the tower would be the meadow, where he would spend hours alone training and perfecting his skills. Certainly this was admirable- Keeping up a regular training rather than falling into decay. The Great Demon King of Evil could admire that.

Hence, you will find "Reno" doing much the same here, his EMR in hand for the usual training session. Who knows what may happen? Obviously, Ganondorf can't say he got any experience with the kind of weapon Reno uses, let alone with Materia. But he's skilled in many forms of combat and highly trained in most discipline, so someone stumbling upon "Reno" as he trains won't see much of a difference. ]

Anywhere Else (Open)
[ "Reno" will be wandering around the whole tower for these next five days, but most specifically to places where the real Reno is known to go at times, such as the Library on the 3rd Floor or the Media Room.

Feel free to bother him anywhere. ]

[Although Elena isn't normally a heavy sleeper, the combination of alcohol, full body massage, and other activities had effectively put her under, making for a relatively quiet and dreamless night. Which also meant that she hadn’t moved since initially falling asleep, meaning that Elena is partially draped over him, her forehead pressed against his bicep. So she's oblivious to "Reno" waking up, or his attempt to kill her, or to his pushing her out of bed.

No, she’s not fazed at all...until she hits the floor. Pain flared in the back of her head and tailbone and she's instantly awake and making an audible pained yelp in surprise. In all her scarred and naked glory, Elena bolts into a sitting position, hands going to her head, clearly pissed off. Yeah, the beds were small and all, but by the way he sat there and was looking at her, she could only guess that he had purposefully pushed her.]

What the hell?! [There's a short pause, body wincing. Oww. Loud noises. Not good for an achy brain with a hangover.] What'd you do that for? And why are you looking at me like that?

[ Ganondorf honstesly wishes he could care about this woman wincing and making loud noises out of pain, but he couldn't. Instead he reaches for the closest clothing- This looks awfully like what Reno usually wears. Shit. Seriously? That couldn't be right.

Even so he can't be bothered to put up an act just now and instead looks down at Elena with a confusion, disdain, horror and surprise, all at once. ]

That was for you sleeping in my bed.

[ Goddesses, what if it is her bed? If that's really Reno... No, it could be another one with similar clothes. Or just a freaking nightmare. So he's gonna wince as if he had a particularly rough headache. A good excuse as another to excuse Reno's different behavior. ]

... And that look is for you sleeping against me.

[She's just...gaping. To say that his behavior was shocking would be probably one of the biggest understatements she'd heard in quite some time. Crawling to her knees, she grabs a handful of the nearest portion of her sheets and pulls, using what fell free to cover herself up with.

She's set on perma-frown, brows furrowed in a slowly burning anger that was just starting to catch. The hell if she was going to be treated like some girl at the Honey Bee Inn]

Excuse me, but that's MY bed you're sitting in.

[Collecting more fabric as she moved, Elena rose to her feet, staring down at "Reno" with a haughty look. She couldn't quite figure that flash of emotions that he gave her as she sat there, staring up at him at utter disbelief. Sitting back down on the bed beside him, hands clutching the sheets at her breast, her eyes narrowed suspiciously.]

You weren't complaining about it last night. ....What's gotten into you?

That one's poisonous. ["Reno" had probably heard Shion approaching despite Shion's attempts at being quiet. He had been practicing, but he knew better to think he could sneak up on Reno.

He got closer and wrapped his arms round his friend in a hug, the scare of thinking he had gone forever had made him even more affectionate than he usually was. He pointed into the basket.] So's that one.

[His tone was patient, he kind of liked being the teacher when it came to this. One of the very few things he knew more about that Reno and Xion, it was his way of repaying them for all the things they taught him.]

[Link had been avoiding the meadow floor where he'd confronted his shadow for the last five days. He had to pass through it to walk up the stairwell that stretched the whole of the tower, however. It was a task he'd set himself early in the morning to get his mind focused. He needed to learn the place, map it out in his mind.

This attempt at focus didn't work well, though. Not when he came up the stairs and saw another practicing what looked like martial forms of some sort. Link slowed his pace and came to a stop about a third of the way up the stairs and sat down to watch. He had no intentions of disturbing the man, whomever he was.]

[Is your impersonation good enough to fool the other real deal...while he's not himself either?]

You're here early.

[ "Reno" had heard him but hadn't paid much attention until he heard the voice. He turns to see Shion- then Ah yes, one of Reno's friend and the boy who had been in charge of the infirmary a few months ago. He remembers spotting before the Takeover Operation talking with Reno, may be informative--

Wait, did that kid wrap his arm around him? ... Hugs?

... Awkward. What do normal people do in these situation? Okay, he smiles and... briefly return that... hug thing... What are hugs even. ]

Heh, looks like I learnt something today.

[ He laughs and tries to look, relaxed? And he does look relaxed. Okay, now to act like Reno. ]

Didn't know you were good with 'shrooms.

[ "Reno" could tell there was a new presence nearby, but he didn't disturb whoever that. Instead he kept training for a little while. At a turn while practicing a kick, he discreetly glanced toward the stairs--

The hero. Oh if only you knew the inner grin Ganondorf was sporting right now. Well well, "Reno" then proceeds to try out a spell with the Materia. ... Lightnings? Pretty interesting, albeit weak compared to what could be done in his real body.

If the kid didn't bother him soon, "Reno" would turn to the stairs and call him out. ]

[ ... Damn. Maybe not. This one obviously knows Reno- But he's rarely seen him around Reno. Probably either an acquaintance he doesn't spend much time with, or a bodyswap... In either case he'll assume Reno just wouldn't care much for that spikey haired fellow asking this.

He looks up at "Cloud" with a slightly bored look and a sigh. ]

Yeah, and?

[ Her bed, huh...? Damn, first mistake. Okay, okay, he has to set his act and keep with it. And quickly to find an excuse for his behavior upon waking up. If only he had known about that upon waking up...

The expression on his face changes as she sits and replies to him. The disdain and horror progressively fade, leaving the surprise and confusion more obvious. He looks at her than shakes his head, speaking with a lower voice. ]

I... I don't know.

[ Better to say that than the truth after all.

He covers himself with the clothing, and suddenly looks a little bit apologetic, and pained as he brings a hand to his head. When in doubt, pretend you drank too much before going to bed, it will often works. ]

Goddammit, my head... What in Hyr- [A cough.] --Gaia's name did we drink yesterday?

[Lightning. The warrior commanded the power of lighting. That was different than he'd expected. If anything, with the man's hair, he'd have expected a fire spell of some sort.

He slipped off the stairs and carefully started to make his way over to the man. He did keep his distance so he didn't startle him.]

.....

[She's still not 100% sure just what had gotten into him that would make him think that it was all right to thrust her so rudely from her own bed, but having a better understanding of what could happen in this place, she's apt to believe him. Hell, she had run into other people's dreams and been turned into a monster. What was a little amnesia?]

You know, for a guy who drank about half as much as I did, I'm surprised you can't remember even that much. [Which only amplified that faint itch that something was amiss. Leaning forward, she only stopped when she was nearly nose to nose with him, her eyes critical as she watched him move, acting almost as if she were sizing him up.] Maybe you and Rusty have been taste testing your different batches a little too much if you can't tell one vintage from the next.

[If Shion noticed the hug was weird he didn't show it and started collecting mushrooms himself grinning at Reno...

Until he made that final comment.] Reno?

[Because Reno knew that, of course Reno know that. His memory might not be as good as Shion's but this wasn't something he'd forget. Shion's eyes were frightened.]

[ Gosh, why was this woman so insistent? Why was she getting so close? can't you tell when someone wants to see you dead and the only reason you still live is because they can't do it? Alright, alright, calm down Ganondorf.

He looks at her with a neutral expression when she's close and simply replies: ]

... Maybe.

[ That wouldn't do it, he needs to make up an excuse... One that will stop all suspicion, excuse all of his future problems and keep them all away from wherever the real Reno might be, it's to say probably his real body. And he has the idea, but for that he needs to be alone wouldn't it be only thirty seconds.

When he speaks, his voice is much softer. Uncharacteristic of Ganondorf. probably uncharacteristic of Reno as well unless some kind of awful catastrophe has happened, which isn't far from the truth. ]

Huh... Would ya mind leaving me alone a lil' bit...?

[ ... Damn. No good, he had one chances out of two to be right. And of course, fate was against him. Okay, this could go two way. Either he would manage to fix that little mistake, either he would need to coerce Shion into shutting up until the end of the swap.

So upon hearing Shion uttering his name, "Reno doesn't pay much attention at first- ]

Hum?

[ He looks incredulous upon seeing Shion's fear though- Trying to pretend that Reno legitly forgot that-- ]

What? Said something wrong?

[ Upon turning during the training, "Reno" saw that Link was now closer. Good. He stopped in his track and looked at the kid who was apparently, staring at him while he trained? ]

Need something?

Are you feeling alright? Has something strange happened?

[It was definitely Reno, definitely the right Reno and he recognised him so it wasn't a third Reno who had turned up...

Memory loss seemed like the most obvious thing, Shion tried not to panic.

But he was panicking...]

[You get an eyebrow for that.]

You're usually making sure Rusty hasn't drowned himself about now.

[ Oh no kid, please don't panic... Ganondorf's not good with that and he won't bother to keep the act up for long if Shion doesn't accept "Reno" as he is. ]

I-I'm fine kid. Do I look like something happened?

[ He tries to smile still, but it's kind of obvious he hides something. Could be that someone he met cursed him earlier today, could be that he's bodyswapped. ]

...

[ He doesn't reply to this immediately and looks a bit worried, before reaching for a bottle. ]

I- didn't find him today. He's nowhere to be found.

[He is panicking, trembling in the forest trying to remember to breathe and think because if he doesn't think he can't help Reno and Reno needs help.] You forgot... how... have you forgotten anything else? [That probably didn't help, if he had amnesia especially since it seemed selective.]

Do... do you feel alright?

Right.

[Annnd plopping right down with you here Ganny, because he's suspicious because you don't seem to know who Cloud is.]

You're not worried he's gotten swapped?

[Link shook his head.]

No. I was just watching. I haven't seen anyone fight like that before.

[ He keeps his voice as relaxed as possible, it's harder than it looks like. ]

I'm fine I tell ya, don't-

[ He sees that Shion's trembling at this point. Oh oh, no good. He looks worried, genuinely and places his hands on Shion's shoulder ]

Shion? Wow, is somethin' wrong?

Heh.

[ Reno did teach his techniques... Hum, let's see. ]

I have training class on the Wednesday if you're interested. Though I guess ya don't really need it.
