o3 [He is not amused]
Characters: Itachi in Romeo's body, and you!
Setting: Room 1-02, floor 38 (the lounge), floor 25 (the meadow), and floor 1 (the cafeteria).
Format: Action to start, but I'll match you.
Summary: Suddenly, Itachi can see! But he's also very short, and not very powerful. Yeah, it's not worth it. He sets off to find whoever got stuck in his body.
Warnings: None so far, but will update if needed.
[When Itachi wakes up, he's small. Very small. He's child-sized, and the incredible difference in body type puts him on immediate alert. He sits up, looking down at himself, and confirms that he's not just imagining things. The more he examines himself, the more he comes to realize that he hasn't been aged down. He's in someone else's body entirely. There are orange bangs hanging in his eyes, and speaking of his eyes, he's unable to activate the Sharingan. But far more noticeably is the fact that he can see. His vision is so clear all of a sudden that Itachi can't bring himself to move for a few moments; he can't remember the last time he's had such good vision.
Eventually, he forces himself to get out of bed. Despite the improvement to his vision, he feels awfully sluggish. It's a consequence of being without his Sharingan, and it leaves his muscles tense. He exits his dorm cautiously, attempting to figure out how he'll handle any threats in this body, and takes a look at the name screen outside of the room. Gamzee Makara, Romeo, Virgil, and Veigar... He's never met any of them, but he figures he's in one of their bodies.
No use in running around and panicking. Itachi sets off to find whoever has his body.]
[He avoids the more dangerous floors and starts to check in the ones he knows are more populated. The lounge is one such place, and he enters with the intent to ask whoever's there about his body. If you're relaxing there, prepare to be approached by "Romeo," who looks decidedly more stoic than usual.]
[The meadow is a nice place to go to get some fresh air. Itachi knows that many people like to enjoy its relative calm, so he takes a seat on the grass and casts his eyes (eyes that can see clearly, he still can't get over that) toward the entrance. If he's lucky, he'll see himself walk by after a while. If not, he'll take a break in the meadow and continue searching later.]
[Finally, he makes his way to the cafeteria. He's not particularly hungry, all things considered, but the place is huge and constantly filled with people. He cranes his neck and stands on his toes to look around, then scoffs when he realizes how he must look. Being so tiny is incredibly inconvenient.]

So with the fact he couldn't see Itachi would probably spot him way before Romeo saw his own body.

He poised himself to body-flick over to himself, but remembered at the last moment that he could no longer do that. So, with a solemn look on his face, he began to cross the room, pausing every now and again to stand on his toes and make sure he hadn't lost track of his body.
Eventually, he wormed his way between the people in the cafeteria, coming to a stop in front of "himself."
"Excuse me," he said, and he winced because he still wasn't used to the sound of someone else's voice coming out of "his" mouth. "I believe you have something of mine."

"I'm sorry sir!" It felt weird saying sir to himself, but since it was actually the person whose body he was in and that person was an adult...
"I don't know how to switch back! I didn't mean to steal it!"
no subject
"Don't apologize," Itachi said. "If you didn't do this on purpose, let's focus our energy on trying to find a way to switch back."
He's the type to get straight to the point with things like this. He supposed that waiting wouldn't do much in the Tower; if anything, it could make things worse. And besides, he wanted to get back into his own body as soon as possible.
After a beat, he added, almost as an afterthought, "...Which one are you? Gamzee, Romeo, Virgil, or Veigar?"
He hoped that they just swapped bodies, as opposed to several people all changing around at the same time. That would make things far less complicated.

"Oh I'm Romeo sir! What's your name?"
no subject
Itachi wasn't exactly energetic - he never was - but he couldn't make himself sit down when all he wanted to do was to focus on getting himself back inside his body. So he shifted a bit to be out of the way of any passers-by, but remained standing, craning his neck to look up at Romeo.
"Romeo, has anything like this ever happened to you before?" he asked. If this boy had been in the Tower longer than him, he could have some valuable information to share.

He took a breath, "And then I was a wooden rocking thing and couldn't move except to rock. But I've never been an adult before! It's probably mister Jason's fault though, he's the baddest bad person."
no subject
Instead, he said, "Mister Jason..?" He hadn't been in the Tower for long enough to have any personal encounters with Jason, or any of the Tower administrators, for that matter. And the flashes of memory he was getting from Romeo weren't nearly strong enough to tell him anything of value.

"I've been here for about three months," he said. "I've never seen any of them. Dax, Jason, Riki, Ruana, and Zo... Is that all of them?"

"And what of the people who serve our food?" he asked. "Do they know anything of value?"
It was obvious from their movements and their voices that they weren't normal residents of the Tower, and every conversation Itachi had tried to initiate with them had fallen flat. He hadn't asked anyone else if they've had better luck until now.

He paused for a moment. "When you were in my room did you see a weasel? If you do his name is Piccolo and he's my friend so you got to look after him okay sir!"
no subject
He thought back to when he was in the room, but he was paying more attention to his new body than to his surroundings, for the most part. It's funny that it would be a weasel, though, considering Itachi's own name translated to "weasel." The tower administrators must have some sort of cocky sense of humor.
"I didn't see him, but I'll be sure to care for him," he said finally. It wasn't an ideal situation, but he supposed it was the least he could do for inadvertently taking the boy's body.

He shuffled his feet and smiled again, "Mister Gandalf says there's got to be a way to get back to normal, we just got to work it out!"
no subject
"Hn. Is 'Mister Gandalf' stuck in the wrong body, too?" he asked. He knew at least a few others had been switched, but he was still trying to grasp the full extent of it.

But as it stood, he was far more concerned with getting out of this body first.
"Have all of your friends been switched, then?" he asked.
no subject
no subject
"Well," he said, "if you'd still like to see Piccolo, perhaps we can go to your room? You can show me how to take care of him."
That was really the lowest thing on Itachi's list of priorities at the moment, but at least being away from the crowded cafeteria would give them a quiet place to continue their conversation.

He led the way out of the cafeteria with a smile, "Thank you sir!"
