Summary: Marty has no clue how to deal with this, dammit.

Marty had been in really sticky situations before. Hell, he was a <em>time traveler</em>, and managed to screw up the timeline a few times all by himself. Of course, he'd fixed it, but...

That was nothing compared to being in someone else's body, hearing a strange voice in his head.

There was looking for Doc, of course, to help him focus, but that didn't last long...

Workshop--

"Doc?" He called out, stepping out on to the floor, checking behind some of the equipment. If he wasn't here, Marty was kind of a loss to figure out where else he could be.

Sighing, he leaned against one of the work tables to rest a bit before heading back out. Even if Doc didn't need to eat, he might be at the cafeteria anyway, or any of the floors between. The thought just made him grimace, not really wanting to look that much. Why couldn't the Tower just leave him alone already? Wasn't it enough his whole family was gone?

Hologram Room ---

This floor... he hadn't meant to stop there, much less step off the staircase, but he did. Wandering out into it a bit, he stared at the images it displayed, watching as world after world was destroyed.

One of those worlds had been his...

Marty sat down on the floor, watching. He had no idea how much time was passing.

Anywhere Else ---

A familiar face- or not so familiar - might be wandering around the Tower, out on tasks, eating lunch, or just generally spending time at the Media Floor or on one of the other safer floors. What's strange is that he may be mumbling to himself from time to time, like he's having a conversation. He would definitely have to ask Eikichi about that sometime...

And who should he run into than his own body. Eikichi looked over himself approvingly, now that he had a view that wasn't just a mirror's reflection.

"Daaaamn, I look good."

Oh, this was weird, but at least he knew where his body was.

"Oh, hey, Eikichi." Now that he thought about it, he wasn't a bad looking guy, himself. "Where've you been? I've been wanting to ask... is it normal.... hearing voices?"

"What? Oh yeah! They get pretty vocal sometimes. S'long as they don't get too pissed that you're in there instead of me, it should be fine..." He looked into Marty's eyes as if he could see inside (he couldn't).

"You hear that Hades?! Make sure the others don't bother him too much, bro!" He crossed his arms. "Man feels weird to be this short. Didn't think I'd miss hearing voices in my head so much either."

Level. Stare. Like an Are you kidding me stare.

"Don't you get tired of it sometimes? Like, what if you wanted a private thought or something?" Marty was pointedly ignoring the short comment. He couldn't help it if he took after his mother...

Nope he isn't kidding you. At that comment, he just let out a laugh.

"Well uh...I am thou, thou art I, you know? Maybe for you it's probably real weird...but for me, it's just pieces of myself. I don't mind them...because they are me."

Yeah, that stare is turning into a long, long, rather blank look- and then~ eureka.

"So, you have split personalities?" WHAT? It's the closest he can come to understanding the whole thing. "...heavy."

The workshop provided a sense of reprieve through everything that was going on. As she missed the familiar buzzing of circuitry in her head, the workshop was the closest thing to that form of comfort. In fact, after finding her body and Doc, she was relieved.

Still, she was going to make sure to try to figure something out. So, as she laid with her head on the bench, she groaned when Marty came in and shook her head after coughing somewhat.

"I found the Doc. He is safe, Marty!"

[ Suddenly, you have an android running in. She's looking quite eccentric and panicked, mostly because of course what she'd just read on network, it was no good. How were they supposed to fix that? Well, 'she'... More like "he" considering the inner being is in fact very much Doc Brown.

When he sees Eikichi in the lab, he greets him by momentarily grabbing his shoulders ]

Eikichi! I'm sorry but I'm afraid today I am not going to have enough time to speak with you. The situation we are facing here is a spatial conundrum that we must solve before it be too late!!

[ he then goes to a computer and starts typing like, real fast. Yeah, this behavior the android is displaying is characteristic of a certain Doc. ]

"Yeah sorta like--"

"--wait NO! Nothing like that! Persona are..."

"...you know what I think that might be the best explanation for someone who's never had them before. Just take that and imagine they can become powerful tools to protect you and you've got a good idea."

Hmm. Marty tilted his head and thought about that for a moment. "How do you do that? Being tools, I mean. I'm kinda curious." Despite the circumstances.

Jumping, Marty whirled around to face Sertoria. "Goddamit, D- Sertoria. I didn't see you." Even so, he recovered quickly, but not before a small coughing spell of his own. Clearing his throat, he went on. "That's great. Where'd you find him? Is he ok?"

[Shaking his head, Marty raised a hand.]

No no, I'm Marty- [wait a minute, that girl looked familiar... in fact, it looked like the picture Sertoria drew of herself.]

....Doc?

"I apparently blend in quite well here," Sertoria remarked with a light laugh. Still, she straightened herself up and nodded at his questions.

"He came in here not too long ago, actually! And, yes, he is fine - a little disoriented from waking up in my body, but he is okay."

Relief plastered itself over Marty's borrowed face. "That's good... that's great, actually. I was getting kinda worried about him, you know, sometimes he can flip out a bit...."

A bit? That was being generous, but she knew that Doc was a good person deep down.

"I...have experienced this sort of behavior first hand. As long as he remembers to keep himself relatively calm, things should be okay while we work on a way to return to our normal bodies."

"We uh...what was it that Philemon said...we all have masks capable of both divine love and demonic cruelty. These tend to be connected to gods from our world. For example, Hades, Apollo, Chronos, Venus, Artemis, Persephone...Once you understand they are there and hear them, you'll...just know what to do. Calling out their powers is almost like breathing. You're doing it automatically right now, but if I mention you're doing it, you'll become conscious of it right?"

This was so hard to explain.

"...it's a bit like that."

[ He doesn't pay much attention, until he realizes. ]

Marty?!

[ He grabs "Eikichi" by the shoulders, this cannot be...! BBut yes it is, also sorry android strength it may hurt a bit. ]

Great Scott!! You have been body-swapped as well?

This is absolutely disastrous!

[Doc being in a female android was sort of the last thing he expected to ever have to deal with. Still, he winced.]

Ow, Doc... careful. I'm fine, I'm fine... It just uh, took some getting used to...

"How's that going?" Marty was worried about that, or if they could even fix this after that Jason admitted it was his work. In his experience, there wasn't much they could do.

"Huh..." Marty was trying to understand, he really was, but meanwhile he scratched his head a bit, then shrugged. "I think I shouldn't mess with that... I might explode someone."

I am very sorry to see you in such a state Marty! Also forgive my manners, I have yet to get used to this mechanical body!

So that means Eikichi is driving your body?
