First thing is first. Reno knows that even if he tried to approach people, Ganondorf's face would probably scare them away. So he stood there outside of his door, hesitating on going inside and telling Shion what had happened, or...

Sighing, he pulled out a pencil and scratched a message right under his name:

"S w/ G
35"

Someone should be able to get that.
Floor 35

Not willing to go to his normal haunts, Renoganon sat next to the lake, watching the water ripple occaisonally. It was boring down here. He wasn't a fisher, and normally he wouldn't be on the floor, but that was sort of the point.

Coughing a bit into his hand, he shook his head. The memories of Ganondorf's life were getting stronger, but not to the point where it was taking over Reno himself. Still, he was slightly impressed by the vividness of the memories of a place he had never been to before. This Hyrule place... he wasn't sure if he wanted to visit, though.

Cafeteria

Even Renoganon had to eat, even if it was nutification bars. Sometimes, Reno may be spotted here, sitting at a table and quietly eating. He's definitely trying not to look at anyone, either... they seemed to have this strange glow about them.

Shion had been suspicious for a few days, he knew Reno had been swapped. Didn't know who with and his attempts at finding out had so far failed. He had been helping with the attempts to fix this, and so hadn't been back to the room for a long while.

When he did finally go back he saw the message, he wasn't sure what the first bit meant but the number...

It was a long shot but there were only twenty rooms on each floor so it was not a room number. Frowning Shion made his way to floor 35.

He froze when he saw who was there, because surely this wasn't Reno... Shion wanted to run, Reno himself had told him to avoid this person...

Wait- there was someone there, but it wasn't someone he quite expected... unless they had swapped?

"Shion?" Reno asked, hesitant, voice low. "The hell are you doing down here? You don't fish."

Shion frowned and stayed back, he knew he couldn't fight him and he should stay away from him. "I was just passing through." He paused for a moment, because Ganondorf the few times Shion had actually spoken to him was always very polite.

"Are you someone in the wrong body?" He was still cautious, but didn't want to abandon some frightened member of the tower just because they had been put in a body most people knew to avoid.

Blinking, Reno shook his head. "What? Ya mean you didn't notice? What's Ganondorf doing in my body?! I'm Reno!"

"Reno!" Shion's eyes showed shock. But that meant...

He started to tremble again, this was all too much. This made no sense. You didn't just... swap people's minds around bodies. It wasn't possible...

"I... I knew it wasn't you... but I didn't know who..."

"I can imagine the look on your face." Reno remarked, a bit dryly. "Calm down, before I dump ya in the pool again." If there was any doubt the man in this body wasn't Reno, that should have dispelled it. "Ya got to have your head about you. If he's pretending nothin's happened you got to act like it hasn't. And keep your eye on him. I got a strange feeling he's checking into things I don't want him to."

"I can swim now." Shion retorted. Kind of, he could stay afloat anyways and that was better than it had been a couple of months ago. He smiled though and the welling panic that had been threatening to flare all day disappeared. He nodded, "I'll keep an eye on him don't worry, I'll hide your journal as well."

"Oh? You're gettin' a mouth on ya, kiddo. I might have to promote you to sport."

Thinking about that, he nodded. There seemed to be too many odd memories floating in his head... Ganondorf might remember where Reno put it.

"Yeah, and don't tell me where ya put it until after this is over. ... I'm gonna assume it'll end."

Shion just smiled again, worried but haivng found Reno and now having something to do he felt calmer. "I wont, I promise." It had to end, they couldn't be stuck in the wrong body for ever, and most things ended here; even the worst things came to an end eventually.

He stepped forward and wrapped his arms round Ganondorf, "It has to end, people are working out a way to get it back to normal. I'll make sure he doesn't do too much damage."

"Great. Then uh, I'll be back to normal soon... but uh, just keep an eye on things." Reno didn't really want to admit it, but he found it really awkward talking to his friends in the body of another person.

Call it vanity, but he really, really wanted his body back. "Keep up your training, don't think you're gettin' off."

"I will." Shion nodded, a silent promise. He felt awkward as well but he didn't want to leave Reno alone just because he was in the wrong body; that would be a pretty rubbish thing to do. Reno had never ever abandoned him and Shion wouldn't dream of doing it to him.

"Wouldn't every think it." He smiled awkwardly.

"You should get back, sport." Reno shook his head, and pointed to the staircase. "I don't want him comin' down and seeing us talk. It's got to be secret for now."

Shion nodded, that made sense even if he didn't want Reno to be alone, if this was to work Ganondorf couldn't know. He wrapped his arms around Reno again giving him another hug. "Alright, stay safe."

"I will. I know how to take care of myself." This time he patted Shion's back. "You take care of yourself and Xion. And if anything happens, go find Elena."

"I will." He nodded and made his way off the floor, braver now he had answers and could do something to help.

[ When no one's around, Reno may have the pleasant surprise to see his body. Sitting in front of him. He may notice his body is currently wearing Rude's sunglasses, but otherwise it probably feels as though he's looking in a mirror.

Finally found him. ]

Don't feel forced to subject my body to Jason's food, slick.

Wait, what? "Glasses? Really? Also, your impression of me is kinda off... ya might lighten up a bit."

Oh, that's right... Ganondorf doesn't have his powers. Reno has them. "You trying to pretend to be me or something?"

Not as easy as it looks like. Simply trying to adapt, it's in neither of our interest for those in the tower to know we are affected by this little game.

[ He picks a nutrition bar and noms on it. Now onto the real question- ]

How do you feel?

[Frown. Ganon was rarely actually concerned sincerely for someone.]

Irritated. Tired. A headache, vision blurry. You name it. Seems to be a trend with the swapped.

[Peering really hard at Ganon right now.]

...Huh... is my overbite really that noticable. My ears look kinda lopsided, too.

[And it looks rather strange seeing himself completely flipped due to not being in a mirror, too.]

... You be careful. Your soul is that of a human, but my powers are too much for your kind to manage. They will drive you mad if you do not focus on keeping them under check.

[ ... Wait what? Reno's overbite? ]

Are you seriously using me as a mirror?

Well, yeah.

[He stares at Ganon as if it was the most normal thing in the world.]

How often do ya get to see yourself outside of your own body?

[Here he pauses, as it might have been quite possible for Ganon to do so...]

Don't answer that. But yeah, I'm human, it ain't like I get to switch with people on a regular basis.

[ Ganondorf sighs. Reno, you are an idiot. It's not brainwashing you he should do, it's erasing your soul. ]

Then don't do anything. Don't go into battle, don't stress yourself and above all, don't think about transformation.

[Just, a glare.]

You do realize that if ya tell someone NOT to think about it, they're going to think about it?

Well that's the perfect occasion for you to practice self-control.

[ He stands and pat Reno, or rather his own shoulder? ]

Also a few people may try to murder you, so be careful and avoid crowds. Eat food only if you're sure it's safe, I've had a few of my enemies trying to poison me in the past, not that poison works on me but since it's your soul, who knows.

Oh and when you're in my dorm, avoid sleeping. Link may try to stab you once you'll close your eyes. In fact, avoid my dorm altogether, it may be safer for your health.

[Just, a stare.]

You honestly think those people are tryin' to kill ya in your sleep? They aren't the type.

They blame me for killing their parents, taking their Kingdom, destroying the world and some of them even think I'm to blame for the tower and the thing that destroys our world.

Most of it is absolutely wrong, but yes, they are idiots and they're the type.

Maybe in open combat fully awake, but in sleep? They got more... honor than that, best way to put it.

Remember, you set me to spy on 'em.

[Reno folds his arms.]

Why do you have such a big thing against 'em anyway? I get the sense something happened, but the memory flashes aren't all that clear. Like you as a kid with some triangle thing...

[ He sits. You're gonna get brainwashed anyway, so you can get an explanation. ]

Heh? That's a long story. As you know I'm a King. My people are all women, the Gerudo is an all-female specie. One man is born every hundred years and he becomes their King. It's to say, me.

I decided to set thing right. That triangle [He points the golden triangle on Ganon!Reno's backhand.] is the Triforce, the Golden Power of the Gods. It has become a part of me and awoken the powers that slept in my soul.

The ancient people of Hyrule had hidden it in the Sacred Realm and designed a security system specifically to prevent an enemy of the royal family to ever obtain it. The Princess was only a child then, and she recruited Link's help to stop me from succeeding. It was a mistake. I manipulated the boy so that he would open the path to the Sacred Realm for me.

I was young, too hasty and impulsive so the Triforce broke into three pieces when I reached for it. I obtained the piece of Power, Zelda the one of Wisdom and Link the one of Courage. The one who reunite all three pieces will obtain the power of the gods who created Hyrule and countless dimensions. Whatever their wish is, it will be granted.

You could even wish for your homeworld to be restored and this tower destroyed. Satisfied?

So this is what you're tryin' to do? What would you wish for?

[Reno, for his part, seems honestly curious.]

[ He does nothing but slightly smile for a while. ]

You'll find out. Sooner than you might expect.

[Wow. THAT certainly wasn't ominous.]

...Looking forward to it.

[Link didn't have to go to the cafeteria to eat and wasn't actually down there to do so. But he'd spotted Ganondorf eating alone down there a few times when he'd been spending time patrolling the stair case and well, even Link couldn't be completely mean to the man. Not when he looked so pathetic munching on the bars like that. He could easily catch his own food, right? Link certainly could. ~~and the fish were quite tasty~~

So with a grumpy frown, Link walked over to stand across from the King of Evil and put three freshly caught dead fish on the table in front of him.]

Here.

[Blink. 'Ganondorf' jumped slightly, not expecting three dead fish in front of him like that.]

What's this for?

[The tone, the quality, the wording... certainly not Ganondorf-like.]

[He hadn't expected Ganondorf to be grateful, but he had expected something less patronizing than that.]

I was trying to be nice.

Oh...

[Pause.]

[He gives Link a knowing look.]

Why would ya give a guy like Ganondorf a nice gift like that?

I though you were him and he looked, I mean, you looked kind of... lonely and... um...

[pathetic]

Like you could use some better food.

[Reno laughed, and shook his head.]

Yeah, I've been kind of avoiding my friends. I mean who'd want to talk to their friends wearin' Ganondorf?

...but, if you don't mind, I got a recipe for fish. I can cook those up for ya real quick. There's some herbs up on the forest that gives meat a savory taste.

Oh. Ah... No. They're for you.

[Even if he hadn't known that it was this Reno guy and not Ganondorf, he'd still given him the fish.]

So if you want to cook them up, do it for yourself, okay?

In that case, how about a compromise?

...what kind of compromise?

Ah, I don't know. Share it, maybe?

Oh. Well, we don't really have to. I've already eaten my share of fish for the day.

[Well, he wasn't going to refuse a gift...]
