Characters: Terezi and Bluekat
Setting: In the dorms, just after Karkat returns.
Format: Action?
Summary: Terezi thinks Bluekat is being a huge wriggler about this whole "alternate version" business. TIME TO LAY DOWN THE LAW.
Warnings: None!

[Terezi would never, ever understand why she kept becoming friends with cudmudgeonly boys with egos made of glass. Karkat's little temper tantrum had been one of the most ridiculous things she'd seen.

But, to be fair, she could understand why he was frustrated.

That didn't mean he had to be such a baby about it.

So Terezi knocks on his door, tapping her cane against her shoe impatiently.]

And that's the wrong answer. The correct answer is that we're not venturing into strange rooms anymore.

[She sighs, then reaches out to brush his forearm with her fingertips.]

Thanks, Karkat.

Yeah yeah. Don't worry about it.

[Casually guiding her into the infirmary.]

[She sits down on one of the chairs to wait, swinging her legs.]

That was pretty brave, Karkat.

[She grins.]

I might even say you were incredibly dashing!

Pretty sure that's a default setting when it comes to me.

[He flashes a brief sharktooth grin at her before beginning to rifle through cabinets.]

Did I mention I have no idea what I'm doing with this?

Pfft.

[She'll figure out a way to fluster him eventually.]

I believe in you! Just hurry up.

Maybe we should call someone before I render your arm useless.

[He does find a cloth. At least he can clean off all that teal.]

[She holds her arm out obediently.]

Like who?

I don't know. I'll call someone on the network.

[Casually wetting the cloth at the sink and moving it over to soak up the blood.]

Are you going to make this a big deal?

I wasn't kidding when I said it looked like shit, Terezi. I can't fix this.

[She sighs, sobering a bit.]

[ A few minutes later, Jade shows up, looking fairly serious and more grown up than she ever has. This is something she excels at; the healing of injuries, the patching up and the sewing together. ]

What happened?

[ casually follows. sideyeing everyone behind his shades... ]

[Terezi is looking a irritated and a lot woozy. She pretty much ignores Jade's question.]

It isn't a big deal, Jegus! I bet Karkat made it sound like I was about to keel over.

[Then she catches a whiff of orange creamsicles and smirks.]

Ooooh, Davesprite, were you worried about me?

Calm your nook, I didn't say anything incriminating.

[Glancing at Jade. Different. Preferable, in his opinion. But now's not really the time for that.]

She got impaled.

[ She steps closer and looks at the injury-- ouch, even without the weird blood it looks pretty bad. ]

Um...Dave, can you find me some antiseptic? And medical thread, and a needle.

[ yeah, it... looks really gross. he's trying not to wince. ]

Sure. Came down here to get my fret on. Need another pillow? I'll grab you some soup and we'll talk until you've got the warm fuzzies.

[ ah, cut the banter we need to fetch shit for jade. he gives her a nod, shuffling around to locate everything. ]

[She grins and swings her legs, but whoops. Woozy again.]

Such a gentleman!

[Karkat watches suspiciously, leaning himself next to the bed Terezi settled herself on. The corner of his mouth continues to twitch every time the teal troll moves her arm, but he does a pretty good job of keeping it hidden.

He grumbles under his breath at Davesprite's 'fussing'.]

Barf.

[ She examines the wound carefully, holding out a hand for the needed materials. ]

I'm going to clean it, and then stitch it up, and then clean it again, okay?

[ hands things to her in order, like the most excellent nurse. ]

Did another troll do this?

[Terezi nods at Jade, wondering if these stitches will hurt herself or Karkat. His powers are still kind of a mystery to her, but she's pretty sure he doesn't want anyone to know what's happened. She reaches for his hand, pretending to need something to hold onto.]

Ready!

[And then she turns her attention back to Davesprite.]

It was some sort of weird, horned hoofbeast in that forest.

[It seems Karkat knows, because when she takes a hold of his hand, it feels a bit clamy. A little residual pain from a fleshwound? A-ok. Stitches without something to numb it?

Not so much.

But his pokerface is unshakable...for the moment.]
