Summary: Majora's trying to distract herself and resist all urges to chase after the Fierce Deity.
Warnings: None!

[Majora is occasionally full of regret. It's a fairly foreign emotion, given her years as a cruel goddess. But right now, that's what she's feeling, and as such, she's trying to distract herself by dancing while the instruments play themselves. Little does she know, she'll meet someone new today.]

[Fou-Lu's trying to distract himself as well. He's hoping that the music room will offer him a little solace - but he pauses when he feels a foreign presence. He steps inside, heading for the zither, but looking out for whomever the presence is.]

[Majora is, quite simply, dancing. Distracting herself from her love life woes, the Wild Dancer makes each step careful in an erratic but beautiful dance. But she stops mid-step when she sees the stranger.]

...Hello.

[He nods to her in greeting.]

... Hello. We do not believe we have seen thee before. What be thy name?

...Majora. Terminian goddess of mischief.

[It's simple but formal, not that her heart is very into it right now.]

[All of these different kinds of Endless... it's strange.]

We art Fou-Lu, the Yorae Dragon. We art also known as the Dragon of the Future.

Never heard of you. But oh, well. It's nice to meet new people sometimes.

[Sometimes. Yes. But today? She's not sure.]

We hath not heard of thy land either.

[... He shouldn't pry. But part of what his Shadow said still tugs at him. A fellow Endless should not be suffering as such...]

... Be something the matter?

Mm. It is, but it's not something to concern yourself with. It's not something easily fixed.

[Though the smile says she genuinely appreciates the offer.]

[He bows his head slightly.]

Too many things art in that category. We hope that thy problems resolve soon.

[He looks around for the zither - there. He walks over to it and picks it up.]

... Dost thou wish to resume thy dance?

...That would be nice. Do you play?

[She's curious, of course. That's one of her worst traits--far too curious for her own good.]

[It's all right. It reminds him of... well. The traits he doesn't have. He nods.]

We wert the first emperor of the Fou Empire. We wert taught many things of humankind during our rule.

[He sits, closing his eyes for a moment, before starting to play, light and upbeat. Most of the traditional songs were slower, but from her movements it seems like she's the type to dance faster.]

[Majora is like the wind. She is free and wild and fast, making up the steps as she goes. Dancing is something that comes as natural as breathing to her, despite the harp being more associated with Wisdom. Dancing is more a Power thing. But still, she does it well, losing herself in the dance, putting her regrets behind her.]

[He opens his eyes and watches her. It's an interesting thing, seeing another Endless dance. It's much different than watching a mortal dance. She moves like a force of nature, and he can't help but be impressed.]

[When the song ends, he chuckles a bit.]

'Tis refreshing to see such joy in a place such as this.

[Dancing is second nature. So of course she's good at it. She will bow in thanks.]

Not many seem to like diversions like dancing.

We art not much of a dancer. It seem that we do not have such a natural rhythm.

[He tilts his head slightly.]

What didst thou mean when thee said thou wast a goddess of miscief?

Exactly what I said.

[She'll gladly teach you to dance, Fou-Lu, if you need it.]

[Unsure lineface...]

We see.

[He'll just have to be a little careful.]

... Perhaps... thou couldst assist us with dancing?

[It's always been a little embarrassing that he's graceful but has no musical rhythm.]

[Don't worry, she's pretty harmless now.]

I could try. I'm not sure how well I can teach you, though.

'Tis worth a try, perhaps.

[Even if he's pretty sure he's going to embarrass himself a little. ... He's trying to not be as uptight about these things. Trying being the key word here.]

Well, first of all, there's no wrong way to dance. Second, it's more a... Feeling. And dancing is expressing that feeling. You keep trying until you feel you've expressed that feeling as best you can.

[As an example, she takes a few steps--a small, short, sad dance.]

[... He attempts to copy her, but there's no real feeling behind it. He frowns, and tries again, his movements a little more natural - but they become jerky again when he looks down at himself. He's overthinking it.]
