So that last week had been hell, and they really should have seen it coming, but it's as they all say...

It was just another Tuesday in Tower What The Helsinki is Going On Here.

Unlike the private party, there are definitely plenty of decorations courtesy of the Amagi Inn heiress, and plenty of food thanks to those who offered to hunt for the event and the ones who could prepare what was caught and gathered. Really, everything's set. Even some alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were clearly labeled (so please, don't spike the normal punch. There are kids here!).

So why was this all set up? Why, because they had succeeded in ~~pissing in Jason's cornflakes and got him maaaaad~~ figuring out the cure for the madness of the previous week with the clues that had been given. But wait, was there a birthday or two this month that had otherwise gone unnoticed? Well, why not celebrate them while celebrating their hard-earned victory? There's cards on a table for people to write down the lucky people who survived another year of this craziness, just waiting for well wishes (or not so, depending on if you like them or not).

[Gently pulling Catarina down so she's sitting a bit sideways on her lap, Saber rests her hand lightly on the small of the woman's back.]

I see with all. Sight is but one of my senses and I possess more than five being who I am. Do you possess a metaphysical sense as well? It is easy to assume you were drawn to me by mana than my charm.

I feel drawn similar spirits to my own. [She leaned in, placing a kiss along Saber's jaw] Chaotic spirited beings, who would rather work by their own rules than outdated ones forced upon them.

I am not one of chaos and old codes, no matter their foolishness, are not easy to forget. [Her fingertips rubbed a small little circle on Catarina's back as she spoke.] But there are many ways to apply obsolete ideals.

And what is one such way you wish to apply these ideals? [Her lips moved downward to her neck, lips light against her skin]

[From the back of her throat, Saber makes a slightly pleased sound and tilts her head a little.]

For example, knights follow a code where killing women and children is forbidden. That stems from a time when women were forbidden to take up arms. Modern days are different and women can be formidable opponents.

I do not kill women, but should one attack me, I will eliminate her as a threat. The chivalric code speaks of killing. If I do not kill, I do not violate it. Death is not the only way to defeat another.

[Catarina made a thoughtful noise in the back of her throat, and opened her mouth to run her tongue across her skin briefly] How would you eliminate her then? I've noticed human women are made to take more damage than you would have originally thought.

[Saber couldn't help the tiny shiver that drew out of her, but she did bring her free hand up to touch Catarina's jaw to stay her attention. She had already said no and they were in public.]

The human body, regardless of male or female, has the same basic structure. Weak points to target and as long as specific locations and depths are avoided, the human will not die before medical attention can be given.

A warrior's answer. I see what you identify as is deeply ingrained in your nature. [Catarina lifted her face slightly to brush a kiss across her cheek]

[Much more acceptable. Saber pulls her hand away and settles it down upon the arm of her chair.]

I am what I am. This code, of course, only applies to my interactions with humanity. Others do not get such considerations unless I deem it so. [King's prerogative.]

[She laughed, the sound coming deep from within her throat] And what code do you have for those not of human birth? What... punishments does my king offer? [She can't help herself. She put a wicked and lewd stress on "punishments"]

[The hand on Catarina's back slides up quickly to grab the back of her hair near the nape of her neck. Saber pulls back on it, toeing the line of pain and pleasure, and holds the demon's head still.]

Perhaps you will find out in time. I must leave some mystery for the lady.

[There's an excited breath that rushed past her lips at the feeling, her chest arching slightly towards Saber in invitation she knew wouldn't be met. Catarina's voice was breathless as she spoke, her eyes lidding]

I look forward to finding out, my warrior Saber.

[While the invitation was not taken, her eyes did flicker down for a moment before she brought her other hand up to trace the curve of Catarina's neck.]

Try not to let your anticipation rule your dreams. No one can compete with such a thing.

[Letting go, she will once more press her lips to the back of Catarina's hand.] Forgive my forcefulness.

Mm. [Catarina cupped Saber's face, lifting it for an almost chaste kiss] I'll keep your words in mind.

I did not mind in the least, Saber.

That may be, but it is improper of me to treat you in such a manner at festivities such as this.

Ah, yes. That is true, no matter how much I fully enjoyed the feel of a human who knows how to be in charge instead of playing at it. I should leave you to the festivities. That is... unless you have changes your mind.

Dear lady, I will not waver on my decision. Even the best of predators must settle for the lesser prey on occasion. I have no doubt you will find another to satisfy you tonight.

You have my leave to chase down another. Know that I have greatly enjoyed your company.

[Catarina leaned forward, giving Saber another kiss and sipped slightly at her energy before drawing back and off of the knight]

I look forward to next time.

[Her lips curl up a bit.]
