009 | ❝We are the champions...!❞

Characters: Anyone and everyone!
Setting: Floor Four, September 25th.
Format: Go wild with whatever!
Summary: EVERYBOOOOOOOOOOOOODY, YEAH, ROCK YOUR REAL BODIES OUT~
Warnings: Do we need warnings for partying? ...Naaaaaaaaaaaah.

So that last week had been hell, and they really should have seen it coming, but it's as they all say...

It was just another Tuesday in Tower What The Helsinki is Going On Here.

Unlike the private party, there are definitely plenty of decorations courtesy of the Amagi Inn heiress, and plenty of food thanks to those who offered to hunt for the event and the ones who could prepare what was caught and gathered. Really, everything's set. Even some alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were clearly labeled (so please, don't spike the normal punch. There are kids here!).

So why was this all set up? Why, because they had succeeded in pissing in Jason's cornflakes and got him maaaaad figuring out the cure for the madness of the previous week with the clues that had been given. But wait, was there a birthday or two this month that had otherwise gone unnoticed? Well, why not celebrate them while celebrating their hard-earned victory? There's cards on a table for people to write down the lucky people who survived another year of this craziness, just waiting for well wishes (or not so, depending on if you like them or not).

Enjoy the night!

Feel free to tag into this however you please, whether it's something already on here, or you want to do something else. It's your party, guys... let loose and have fun with it!
As this goes on, we'll add them to the list. Enjoy the spoils of victory, people of the Animoo!
Mingle!
Birthday Silliness!
Games!

Worlds where the same Holy Grail War occurred but the events unfolded differently.
starofpleiades: (Are You Sure?)

Oh, the one you mentioned. So Lancer and Ruler were involved in it as well? The names are kind of similar...

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-03 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. The names are similar because they are Class names. Ruler is a bit different, but in another War than the one she was summoned to, she would be known as Saber, not as Ruler.
starofpleiades: (Oh!)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-04 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
Saber... so the same class as you, then?

[So then... Saber's not really Saber's name, huh?]

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-04 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
That is correct. There are seven classes. The three knight classes are Saber, Archer and Lancer. The other four are Rider, Caster, Berserker and Assassin.

Not every Heroic Spirit is suited to each class. For example, I am only suited for the Saber Class. For any War in which I will be summoned, I will be Saber.
starofpleiades: (Was I Wrong?)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-04 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Kazumi nods, committing these names to memory... Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Berserker, Assassin... one of these things is not like the others.]

That makes sense... since you're a knight of the sword, right?

Where does Ruler fit in?

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-04 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
In the two Wars I have participated in and the two prior to that, the War was overseen by the Holy Church, to provide a... neutral party to regulate it and offer sanctuary to any master that has lost its servant.

In Ruler's War, which is far after the ones I have been in, the Church no longer oversees the War. The Grail itself chose one of the Seven Classes to act as Overseer, to serve it directly, and be neutral. The Servant's class becomes Ruler from that point on.

As the Saber Class is the greatest class, it is only proper that the Grail take that class to become Ruler.
starofpleiades: (Spotted Something)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-04 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, so they're like a referee, huh? [It sounds almost like a game but... she's pretty sure that'd be rude to point out] I guess that explains the name!

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-04 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
A simplistic comparison, but an apt one.
starofpleiades: (Face Forward)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-04 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm... I guess there's a lot of rules and stuff to the Holy Grail War, huh? Not like a normal one...

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-04 02:46 pm (UTC)(link)
It is not a normal war. Magi hide their existence from the normal populace, so their wars must be kept secret. I only speak of this to you because you are beholden to me.
starofpleiades: (I've Got This)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-05 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
Mm! I'll keep quiet on it then. We kind of keep being magical girls a secret too, but mostly because it would probably cause a huge commotion if people found out... and then it'd probably be harder to fight witches.

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-05 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
In the Holy Grail War, there are to be no witnesses. This leads some innocents to their unfortunate deaths.
starofpleiades: (Troubled)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-05 03:14 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah... it's always really dangerous when normal people get tangled up in this sort of thing. Which is why we have to fight witches, who prey on those people.

[Even if it was kind of a self-perpetuating system...]

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-05 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
With the War, it is less preying upon them as it is erasing the traces of the War so it remains unknown.
starofpleiades: (Are You Sure?)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-05 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah... it's good that both - all? - sides in your war agree about not involving bystanders then.

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-06 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. And the Overseer aides in that.
starofpleiades: (Cute Witch)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-06 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
A lot more civilized than real wars then... that's good, then!

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-07 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Some magi claim it is an elegant form of war.
starofpleiades: (Are You Sure?)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-07 08:41 am (UTC)(link)
It seems better than normal war but... it sounds like you don't agree?

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-07 04:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Sometimes it can be. It depends on how the master treats the servant.

I will say it is more elegant than what humans in modern era consider war.
starofpleiades: (Troubled)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-07 09:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess that's true. [If they treat them as just a summoned weapon, and not a person...]

I guess war's kind of ugly no matter what it's like.
starofpleiades: (Are You Sure?)

[personal profile] starofpleiades 2012-10-08 04:04 am (UTC)(link)
Mm... eheh, I guess our conversation took a pretty dark turn, huh?

[personal profile] scorchedchivalry 2012-10-08 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
It has. [pause] Enough. Go, enjoy the party. I expect I will not find myself alone for long.
