002 ~ Idrial
Characters: Idrial and YOU!
Setting: The lower floors of the Tower.
Format: Action but will change to prose if preferred!
Summary: General exploration of the Tower, trying to make sense of the body swapping event in her mind and some beautiful Elven singing.
Warnings: None.
[There are quite a few people in the Tower who might not have seen Idrial around very much since she arrived here at the Tower. That's because she's still trying to adapt to the new environment and hearing word of the whole body-swap incident made her slightly uneasy. She is just thankful that it did not happen to her, though of course she is sympathetic to those it has happened to. She has been spending most of her time in her room, only venturing out when she needs to. She will not have been seen about the cafeteria either as she has taken the advice of both Legolas and Haldir and hunted for her own food as best as she can manage.
Anyone who is wandering through the corridors of the Tower today are bound to hear Idrial's clear and pure voice singing out one of the songs of her people over and over. Some may feel drawn to it, others might want to avoid it but she misses her homeland and singing reminds her of that. Lothlórien. Home.]

because this kirin needs to meet all the elves
He heard the music and began to follow the sound, he liked music and it was something rare in this tower. He saw the elf lady from a distance and watched, not wanting to interrupt her or be a bother.
Yeees ALL the elves!
She stops her song and she looks at him warily for a moment before a small smile appears on her lips. He does not seem like any threat of danger to her. She bows her head ever so slightly in greeting.]
Greetings. I must apologize, I did not notice your presence until now.

Please, no apology is needed for you did not disturb me in the slightest.

I thank you, you are very kind. I do love to sing and...it reminds me of my own lands.

It made him sad that the only songs left in her world were battle songs... It shouldn't be that way... music should be happy and peaceful.]

Though they are of times of war they are still beautiful to her ears. It is always good to remember the past, no matter what the past may have been like.] Maybe I will sing a joyous song of old times when I next sing.

[She will smile and nod at his words] Yes, indeed they are, little one. When I sing again I will be sure you are around to hear it. Music is something that should be shared after all. Do you sing yourself?

Alucard was such a creature, cursed with darkness and death but gifted with the beauty and grace of an immortal. Lurking in the shadows he watched the slender figure traverse the hall for some time, remaining unheard and unseen as he clung to her blind spots. Alucard recognised the shape of her ears, the aura of life about her, and could quickly associate this child to Haldir and Legolas's kin. Children of light trapped here in the darkness. Elves.
Eventually he spoke, his voice smooth as black velvet, hauntingly solemn with hints of deep lonliness. ]
I know your kin.
You cannot help but spread beauty and light with each step you take, but in a place like this you ought to be wary that the very beauty that defines you does not result in your downfall.
no subject
Whenever she hears the voice however she immediately stops and turns towards it.]
I do not think that that will be my downfall. Though it is true I should be more wary while roaming the corridors of this place. I was...lost in the melody of my people.
sorry for the tl;dr
At first he thought it was some trick his mind had decided to play; hardly worth entertaining. Another coping mechanism for the always exciting tricks Jason liked to play-- it never failed to surprise, really. He was intent to ignore it, the singing that is, but even he couldn't ignore that it sounded clearer the closer to its source he got. There was a joined hall just off to his left, causing him to slow down and peer around the corner to see if say... the tower had developed a siren that walked on land instead of sea. Instead, he gets an elf, though he's not quite aware of it; after all he's pushed aside some of the more beneficial lore for the time being.
Stepping forward, he made himself known by clearing his throat, offering a smile for the occasion she noticed him.]
Excusez-moi, mademoiselle-- I do not believe we've met. I hope I'm not interrupting?
[Although he knows he probably is... nosy Frenchmen tend to do that.]
It's awesome don't be sorry <3
She is shaken out of her own fantasy world though by the sound of his voice. She does not see him as interrupting at all. In fact, she will offer him a smile in return and bow her head ever so slightly in greeting.]
No, you are not interrupting in the slightest. As for whether we have met before I do not think I have had the pleasure. I am Idrial of Lothlorien.

Rather than interrupt her, he waits there, only moving up if she moves out of range. He doesn't want to stop her, if she's lost herself in the music. But music is one of those things that will draw him in easily, so he's likely to linger as long as she does. Plenty of time for her to notice she's gained an audience, especially if he draws too close before stopping.*

As soon as she opens her eyes she notices him. She immediately stops her singing and gives him the smallest of smiles and bows her head in acknowledgement that she has spotted him.*
Greetings. I must apologize I did not know that anyone else was around.

I am Idrial of Lothlorien. May I ask your name?
no subject
I am Enoch. ...You've only arrived recently, haven't you?
no subject
Yes, I only recently arrived to this place. I am still not sure how to react here. I miss my home lands terribly but I know I must do all I can in my power to survive this place.
no subject
*Survive and try to handle their hosts' games as much as they could, at least. He wasn't sure everything was going to run as smoothly as it had during Jason's little experiment, where they'd been given hints at a way out.*

That's... amazing...

She will turn in the direction of the sound, a small smile ghosting her lips. Once she spots the owner of the voice she bows her head ever so slightly in greeting.]
I thank you, little one. The music of my people is special to me so it is good to hear others think so too.

Do you sing very often? It seemed so effortless...
no subject
Singing has always been an important part of my life. My mother taught me when I was very young and I have loved it ever since. It reminds me of my home.

Do you sing to remind yourself of your family?

I am sorry to hear it. I hope that one day soon you will feel able to since once more, I would very much like to hear it.

[A pause before she realizes that she does not even know the name of the person she is talking to. Well now that must be changed.] What is your name, Little One?

It is an honor to meet you, Amalia Sheran Sharm. I am Idrial of the Golden Woods of Lothlorien.
