010 | ❝To chase after what's hidden..❞
Characters: Yu Narukami, two deities of death, and you!
Setting: Floor Twenty (???), Room 2-02 (post-body swaps), and anywhere post-9/26
Format: I'll match you.
Summary: After all that's happened, Yu needs some alone time. Unfortunately the tower says "n o p e" and he throws in the white towel.
Warnings: Silent protags, gods of death, and the tower in general? I don't know...
Floor Twenty (Locked to Izanami)
He didn't necessarily linger on this floor for long, usually only passing through before continuing on to his destination. However, today was different. He stared out to what lay beyond the tower, not saying anything as he just allowed the wind to hit his face. He didn't mind that it was empty, desolate of any sort of life. It was a nice, quiet place to think and sort things out.
Of course, what he had seen in Inaba had been much worse. Even as he stood there in silence, he waited. Maybe his request would be put on hold, but he didn't mind that either. He still had a message to deliver, though.
Room 2-02 (Locked to ...AU!Minato?)
Well, he always had been one for shitty sleep schedules, regardless of how he tended to micromanage his routine as much as possible. After Inaba, he had a hard time sleeping before 1am every night. Hell, it's still a miracle he didn't nap during the day because of it. Either way...why did he get the sinking suspicion he was being watched by someone who wasn't his roommates or whatever cameras there were?
Floor Fourteen
He almost always stopped on this floor, even when he wanted to be alone. However, this time he seems to step in, take a look around, and walk back out again after deciding better than playing a video game again. At least, unless someone stops him.
Anywhere after 9/26
Of course, after a short time to reflect and after setting up the party to celebrate their victory over Jason's experiment, he's likely checking every floor to see if he finds any familiar faces. It's just to check up on everyone, really. It had been a mess the last week, and he knows he messed up along the line. Feel free to bump into him anywhere you so please.
Room 2-02 (10/1)
So thanks to Ledouche, the ones in dorm room 2-02 aren't exactly having a good morning. Powers are nullified, a creature lurking underneath Yu's bed. He hadn't sent in that 'request' at all, but the aforementioned someone saw fit for it regardless.
When Yu is able to move, he draws his sword from underneath his pillow and strikes out. Little help here, guys?

... We won't be able to speak again. So, I've come to give you some help! As thanks. ... And as a... friend.
[ You see, he doesn't have the power. And as he is right now, he barely has the consciousness. Which is why, without the link that Geass had provided, you'd never have met him at all. Much the same with power being drawn to Minato in the pods. ]
Soon, we will see a beautiful garden... and many flowers will bloom within it. But several others will slowly wilt away... there will be nothing you can do about many of them, but the others... you should talk to them. I've heard talking to plants is good for them!
[ And here, he smiles. ]
... But some plants aren't going to listen. Roses might be beautiful and tempt you to pick them, but it would be wiser if you avoided them altogether... lest you be followed by their painful, poisonous thorns.
[ What the fuck does this even mean? WHO KNOWS. Something, probably. If you're smart you'll hopefully figure it out! Eventually. Maybe. ]

[for some reason, he's a little sad about that. Maybe it's because of that little bit of a connection, or maybe it's because he was around the age Pharos looks like now when he--
He doesn't continue that train of thought. Instead, he listens carefully. A beautiful garden... blooms within it. Could it mean newcomers and new possibilities for bonds? "others will slowly wilt away... nothing you can do about many of them..." Those who will end up returning to their worlds and the destruction he saw? "Talking to plants is good for them." ...Continue forging bonds, but be wary that some may try to do you harm? Well... That was something he knew all too well (shut up certain possibility that hasn't fully developed, nobody likes you).
...It isn't hard to understand. He was a junior-detective like his friend and the leader of the Investigation Team. Even these riddles were easy after what he helped Naoto with (though she may not remember that).
Though knowing Pharos... There's likely double meanings behind everything.]
Riddles again? [He seems almost amused, but grateful. He's already taken the advice to heart.] Guess I should have kept a Persona with Posumudi.
[Oh look, he made a joke.]

Hee hee. I don't think the ability to cure will help you in this situation... sometimes the most important things are words.
[ After all, words... are what helped him gain emotions, become something more. ]
But you know that, right? I'm here to make sure you watch him for me. I told him many times about the end of everything, but he doesn't want to believe it... what do you think? All of these worlds are very much like flowers. If they just wilt away, what will you return to?

Couldn't hurt to try.
[Oh, he's on a roll~ Yet in all seriousness, he is indeed listening closely just as he always does. Sometimes silence was all that was needed, though; being a presence to lean on when times got hard. Actions spoke louder than words at times, but Pharos had a point.]
Nothing. [Which was the honest truth. The absence of something is nothing, and that... was something life could not stand. That was why he put stock in so much time and energy to be there for as many as he could, because he didn't want to see them fade or to lose hope. Even if it meant nothing, giving up was not on his agenda.. Nor was abandoning anyone he chose to forge bonds with.]
