Summary: Tetra needs to learn to behave. This isn't the Great Sea anymore and being a pirate doesn't earn you much respect here.

Tetra... should really learn to keep her mouth shut. Because when she woke up that morning, unable to move, she panicked and watched the video. Panicked even more. And then screamed at the top of her lungs. No way in hell would she be able to handle taking on that thing alone. And her weapons weren't on her, they were sat right up against her trunk. Which required she get out of bed to grab them. But that thing was under there.

NOPE. Screaming some more.

[Riku is still sore and tense from that fight a few days ago, but... that kind of screaming? There's no way he can ignore that - even if it's from someone he doesn't know.

He hasn't summoned Way to the Dawn (yet), but he has no problem to basically kick in the door that scream is coming from. Hope you don't mind that the door is slightly hanging of it's hinges?]

[Even if she were without the aid of Hylian hearing, Tetra's screams would reach Zelda's ears loud and clear. Fortunately, her own room lacks anyone reckless enough to provoke the administrators through the request box, so she leaps out of bed and grabs her Terminian mirror shield without incident. In little time, she is outside Tetra's room, peering past Riku's form to see what could be distressing her descendant.]

Tetra? Tetra, what's wrong?!

[Tetra gives no damns about the door, wrapped up in a cocoon of blanket now and hiding. The door kicking obviously gets her attention though and she actually whimpers, acting like a kid for once.

Oh thank the goddesses, Zelda is here too! She wants to run over to her and cling but, ahahah, bed monsters.]

There's something under the bed...

[He blinks at the sudden presence of Princess Zelda behind him... not that he isn't glad about it, especially since she seems to know the kid (Tetra?).]

...Under the bed?

[...Well, that sounds like a regular nightmare. But then again, those are known to come real in the tower so... yep, definitely summoning Way to the Dawn now.]

[Zelda frowns, her eyes cutting to the floor near Tetra's bed, then to Riku as he summons his weapon.

Looks like he has the same idea.]

Stay there. We will take a look.

[Making sure she has a firm grip on her shield now, yeah. She has a terrible feeling about this...]

I ain't goin' nowhere, don't worry. 'Specially not with that creepy person thing under there.

[She'll just point out the sword she has sitting by the trunk. A shield isn't that handy Zelda! And Riku has a weapon so...]

It crawled under there right before I woke up. Like it knew...

[Riku reaches right over to that sword to hand it off to Zelda - Tetra is right, it will probably come handy - then crouches down to check on whatever is (allegedly) hiding under that bed.

[She takes the sword without comment, though she does spend a moment testing its weight. She's... not exactly accustomed to armed combat, but given the circumstances, she'll take what she can get.]

Do not fret - everything will be all right.

[Her voice is gentle, reassuring as she addresses her descendant's worries before shifting back into something more determined at Riku's comment.]

[ Don't worry, that won't be necessary, Zelda. Link is here with their own weapons drawn; they heard the screaming and came as soon as they could.

WHY DID YOU REQUEST TO PUNCH JASON... They digress, though. Not like they've always made WISER choices, anyway.

But anyway, Link is here, sword and shield ready. ]

... I sense ill will in this room. It is under the bed, correct? It will likely attack soon. Zelda, take Tetra and leave. Anyone else who wishes to fight it should stay here. If anyone else is still asleep, we should get them out of here.

[Tetra has no objections to getting the hell out of there. And if she trusts anyone to get rid of whatever the hell it is, it's Link and Riku. They both obviously know how to use their weapons.]

Ugly's an understatement. It's freaky! It crawled under there a few minutes before I woke up.

[Tetra more asked that someone kick Jason. In the face. SAME THING APPLIES THOUGH.]

[He straightens again, quickly glancing over to Link - nice, more back up! - before he shrugs.]

Nothing I've seen before.

[...Which says something, considering that Riku has nine months Tower under his belt and still spends quite a few nights a week hacking away at the monster population.

Confusion flickers over his face when Tetra speaks up - how could she know when that thing had crawled under her bed when she had been asleep? - but that is kind of. secondary right now.]

A little early to wonder about that, I think.

[Considering that there hasn't been any fighting yet. ...Or maybe it's also a little late, because well. They are already involved, aren't they?]

[Link, if the situation were any less dire, you would have one pouting princess on your hands. As it stands, she only frowns, both at Link's comment and Riku's assessment of the threat.]

I can get her away quickly, but I will not leave you two alone to fight something entirely unknown to us. Perhaps I am not as skilled with a blade, but an extra sword arm is an extra sword arm.

[All said in a tone that implies she will not be moved. Determination might as well be her middle name.]

[ Link doesn't want you hurt. But you're a big girl. ]

I haven't seen it before either. I... have been here for a year now to this day. This is somewhat of a terrible commemorative present of them. Shall we?

[ And the Hylian straightens up, here, posture ready to strike. ]

[Zelda's going to have her hands full, because Tetra might get a bit clingy. And who could blame her? Between the three of them though, nothing could possibly go wrong, could it?

So Tetra poises to jump off the bed, looks at them and whimpers before jumping as far as she can towards Zelda...

Only for the creature to try to grab at her.]

[Far be it from Riku to argue with headstrong girls - especially princesses - he's grown up with Kairi after all. Not to mention that it really isn't the right time to argue.

He doesn't react to Link's words apart of a nod and the moment the monster makes its move, Riku does to, twisting to reach for Tetra with his left hand to pull her away, while slashing downwards at the monster with Way to the Dawn.]
