Lost Heart

Characters: [livejournal.com profile] reverse_destiny and anyone he stumbles across!
Setting: Hallways, wandering around
Format: Whichever! \o/
Summary: Sora has woken up in a strange world. Now he's getting used to it.

Waking up somewhere other than his own bed isn't something Sora had expected. Especially when the last thing he remembers clearly is Riku not remembering him. But that's all behind him now. He'd already wandered from the room, curious about his surroundings--especially after the letters. Had they truly succeeded in destroying everything? Then, where's Dad? Did he send him here so he could be safe? So many questions in mind!

For now, though, Sora just wanders, eyes wide in wonder as he takes in his surroundings.

When Suzaku had woken he had thought he had seen someone slipping from the room, so once he had read his notes and slipped out into the corridoor he saw someone who looked vagualy like the boy he had seen why sleep paralysed. "Hello? Do you know where we are?"

That was a good point Suzaku shrugged, "You just wake up as well?"

sob 2-08 is gonna be the quietest room ever

Suzaku nodded sensing the other boy didn't want him near. Half of Suzaku was suspicious but half of him took it as normal behaviour. "Did you get a note?" Because this boy was the only one to talk to and Suzaku needed information to asses his surroundings.

Suzaku nodded, "I guess so, what do you think of it?" Because even though Suzaku could think of no specific reason why someone would tell such a huge lie, he found it almost imposible to comprehend that his world as flawed and messed up as it was, was gone.

Naminé should not have been surprised to see a familiar face wandering the halls, but she was, and the instant she spotted him on her way back to her own room, she stopped short, unable to keep from sucking in a breath. After that breath, though, she found she couldn't draw another as she stayed where she was, staring at the boy with wide eyes. How...? --Stupid question, the same way everyone else did. It was just... hard to wrap her head around the idea that her eyes weren't lying to her. Once she'd managed that, though, there was still the matter of getting her lungs to cooperate, too, and maybe figure out how to get her heart to stop feeling like it was going to crack her ribs.

When at last she could breathe again, the first thing she said was, "Sora...!"

The second he turned around, she knew something was wrong.

At first, she dismissed the feeling; of course he wouldn't recognize her. But it wasn't quite that, it was... something else. Even as he turned toward her, she was trying to tell herself that she was mistaken, even as the thoroughly out of place chill ran down her neck. If she hadn't known better, she could have sworn--

When he started to speak, she couldn't deny it any longer. Destroying worlds? Her expression transitioned through shock to something close to fear before closing off as she became more guarded, automatically taking a step back. "You're--...." One of those doubles, maybe, the one's she'd heard about recently. But-- this wasn't what she'd been expecting. She hadn't known what to expect, exactly, but this wasn't it. "...I'm sorry. I-- I was mistaken." The tone of her voice, however, insinuated otherwise.

Definitely not the Sora she was thinking of. Simultaneously, she felt both the urge to turn tail and run and to question him further; even if this wasn't Sora, she couldn't fight a habitual spike of concern. "You--" It seemed that the latter inclination won out, at least long enough to get her to start to say something. She wasn't about to move any closer, and only barely managed to keep herself from back up farther. She'd already spoken up, so she had to finish what she started, didn't she? "...Are you... new?"

It took a bit of effort not to squirm uncomfortably, but she managed to stay put, keeping even her limbs still as if she was uncertain whether it was safe to make any sudden movements. "R-- right." It certainly sounded like it, anyway. "I should have realized." Not really, but it was kind a reflex to say that; most things seemed to be things she should have realized when it came to talking to other people. "And... the letters...?"

Roxas regularly went to go check on the suggestion box, and the kitchen, to see if they'd fulfilled his wish yet- but it seemed he kept running in to awkward every time. Upon spotting the brunette, he froze, ducking in to a doorway and trying to not be seen. Assuming he wasn't, he'd pretty much begin stalking Sora.

...he'd approached and been approached by quite a few people here, but this was the kid from his dreams- that was a whole different can of worms. He wans't just going to casually go up and say hello like an idiot.
